[CX] The Facility

Actually Lewis, my NAT's gone back to moderate
Anyone with strict NAT can't join me anymore, I think that's Ryan and Ewan, although I'm not sure about Ewan :hmmm:

We did well tonight Dan even though our team was pretty bad. So bad it made me rage... twice. :hmph: The first time they just refused to build the catapult on Deep Fried. If we had the catapult we would have been able to at least attempt to steal their princess.

The second time we actually got the princess a few steps away from our castle and yet no one came to help us so we died. Seriously we should have won that one! We were only 2 or so steps away from entering our castle! :rage:

I do have to admit I am impressed we won the last game though.

Was going to post last night but was falling asleep as I attempted it. :sad2:

Yeah it was a great couple of games. :awesome:

We did really well to begin with but then we quickly found ourselves facing a team full with people who really did work together, and we were left with more AI and a group of other players who seemed to go off to do whatever.

The other team were really irritating with their combination of ice mages and dark priests. They seemed to have these tactically placed near gates, towers and other areas of importance too. I don't think I've ever had as much trouble with ice mages on the game before.

I'm not sure how we managed to turn it around for the last game. I guess we just defended well and confused them enough to look away from their own princess. It was tough though, as every time I went near to their princess I noticed that there were about 20 enemies in there too, and all of my team mates were running away or had died.

My NAT type is strict most of the time, but I was still able to join you that night Char. I think it works OK when I join your session. :)

Also, I'll join you guys for FP next time you're on. I haven't played it in ages and I like playing the objective. :awesome:

To be honest I am not sure how we did either. :lew: I think you died somewhere and it was just me and another Giant. As I expected, mostly everyone on the other team was too busy trying to charge our base so there was only a few people in their base. I'm mostly surprised we managed to get back with everyone on our butt. Thank goodness for your and our other teammate's backup. :neomon:

Yes Ewan, you should have joined us. Our teammates were pretty bad for most of the games we played. A team of CX members would have really helped.

Alrighty then I'll just copy and paste for you.

"Basically the object of Fat Princess is to rescue your princess from the enemy's castle while still holding onto their princess, similar to capture the flag. To make it harder for the enemy to capture the princess you can feed the princess cake which will eventually make her fat and heavy thus making it hard for the one carrying the princess to move at a decent speed. 1-32 people can play in one game and you can play local co-op with up to 4 people.

You also get to use 6 different classes, 9 if you buy the DLC. They are Villager, Worker, Priest, Mage, Ranger, and Warrior with Pirates, Ninjas, and Giants being DLC classes. Each class has it's own advantages and disadavantages and, with the exception of the Villager and DLC classes, each class can be upgraded if you have enough wood and metal in your castle stockpile.

There are other game modes as well besides Rescue the Princess.

Snatch 'n Grab which is basically Rescue the Princess except you have to do it 3 times instead of once in order to win.

Invasion is where the object is to take over the land. Each team starts out with a number of points and you have to take over the castle outposts. The more outposts you take over, the faster your points will drop. The first team to reach 0 points wins.

Finally there's Team Deathmatch though I don't think I need to explain this one much :P

The full game costs $15 however the demo is free. In the demo the gameplay is the same. The only difference is that you can only play on one map and you can only play either Rescue the Princess or Team Deathmatch.

/nerdrant "

I'm not sure if a 3D patch has come out for it. I don't think so though.

It's pretty good. I've spent over 150 hours on it. Everyone I've told about this game has enjoyed it so I'd really recommend trying it.

It is. If you want we can play with you. It's all about teamwork and if your team sucks then it can cause you a lot of rage.
