[CX] The Facility

Games Like The Halo series have Co-op splitscreen online. Like playing on the same Tv. I tried Grenade deathmatch this morning on uc2 and I was laughing to no end. Its pretty sad especially with so many grenades blowing up at once xD Now I have a very few missions left till I finish final Fantasy XIII and not touch it ever again xD
 
But that's Halo...D: I haven't seen many FPSs have online splitscreen though Dan mentioned Haze which was meant to be dire. :wacky: Still, it wouldn't work for CoD. :mokken:
 
As usual, I need to practice on my aiming. MW2 was pretty fun though, just wish I could have had 5 kills at least. The enemies are so hard to find. Curious, what button is melee attack? On the manual it says R3, and I have no idea what that is.

Actually ive only played campaign mode but it was a massive let down tbh.
I swited to tactical layout on CoD so my mellee is circle and r3 and is the crouch button.

I didn't think that it was that bad, but then again it was my first PS3 game.

Online was quite fun though. You could drive vehicles and such, and it was fun shooting and smashing someone's drug thing on their back, causing them to overdose. Playing dead was fun too. There were some fun objective style games on the online modes as well.

If it had been tweaked a little bit more then it could have been liked more. I think it did badly because people kept calling it a Halo killer... Which it wasn't.
 
I finally got the last acheivement In Final Fantasy XIII after a while last night. I swear I was like 4 staring it everytime and dying mostly then at one point finally 5 Stared it :awesome: Ill say it feels really good to have did everything in FF XIII. *puts XIII away*
 
I never really found out what was wrong with Haze, it sounded interesting but when it started averaging 4 and 5 out of 10 in most reviews I completely lost interest. And it took you long Adri :hmph: Though you'll be glad you won't have to play it again.
 
Oh you dont know how good it feels to now put that game away. I can finally move on to something else :awesome:
 
I liked how haze started out. It was somewhat differnt with the nectar makign you like a super soldier but as soon as it got fun and interesting you swapped sides and joined the militia. Twas one of my first ps3 games aswell argor, i had that long before i had anything online. Very short game aswell. I think it only took me a few hours to beat. And that was a first playthrough aswell.
 
There seems to be an abundance of extremely short, mediocre FPS coming out in an attempt to ride on Halo's and COD's success...Gears of War, for one. I bought both of them, then sold them within the same week. Easy, boring stuff. I was thinking about getting Timeshift at one point...that looked interesting. Haze was one I didn't really notice, outside of the release TV adverts...I'm going to stick with BioShock, I think.
 
For CoD, I've only played CoD4 (MW1). FPS games were never a big deal for me, as I suck at them royally. :lew: I remember loving Doom back in the day, but you didn't have to aim up or down in that game, just side to side, which was a lot easier. I did think Borderlands was pretty fun, however.

I hate the COD series, because they're overhyped massively. I miss the good old days of the original Medal of Honour. Honestly, I prefer FPS with twists to them...simplistic war stories bore me. I don't mind Halo, but I much prefer Mass Effect, because the story is better. If I could get Master Chief to sleep with the Arbiter, I might be a bit keener on Halo, or if either of those two had a proper personality I wouldn't be so dismissive, but...eh.

Metroid Prime on the Wii is pretty good as well. Well, the first two are. The third is stupidly anticlimactic...

I suppose the reason I'm only keen on certain FPS is because I don't play online much...I'd much rather play co-op than versus. Because getting my arse kicked repeatedly is no fun at all ._.
 
Bah typical. Got to like 13-0 on cod with a pavelow and harriers in the air and my game freezes xD Its been doing that ALOT recently aswell only ever on CoD though but this is a new thing it never used to happen before :hmmm:

Speaking of CoD, anyone fancy a few games tonight? We had some people together last night and it was quite good. We hardly lost any games. Maybe get some "strats" on the go as they say in the biz. :ohoho:

We played on Estate and we "locked down" aka camped in the house and thrashed the other team. :grin:
 
You strat for the house was good. But your jumping strat in quarry was absolute garbage because you lolled and got me killed. :hmph:
 
I love playing against jim hes so predictable. ALwyas goes to the same spots and goes back there after he gets killed. Makes for an easy kill :ohoho:
