Scottish highlanders are far too badass to simply sit in a plane though. They need to sneak up on wild planes grazing, grab them with their bare hands, and then hold them in a tight arm-lock as they take off.

So that does count as riding, though flying could be used too but it probably doesn't sound as cool.

I doubt it's you as a person.

It's more likely to be that some people are just better at hating / complaining / suggesting alternatives / being assertive than others. It's a skill. It just depends on how what you say is written, how the viewer takes it, and who the person is.

It's true that the exact same thing stated by the right person will have 70% more of a chance of being read, accepted as an opinion, or taken on board seriously. That's not just here, and it's not even just the internet. Some people can easily and confidently get from nothing to becoming one of these people who are noticed, and that is because they have this skill / super-powers, but for others it may take a long time.
