Annoying Commercials?

I apologize in advance if there's already a thread about this but, here's my question to all of you FFFers:

In your opinion, whats the most annoying commercial you've seen?


One of the most annoying commercials i've seen is Bob the enzyte guy.

I can't think of any specific ones atm, but the ones in general that I can't stand are the ones where they make generalizations about the audience, or use too many stereotypes. Like, the ones where they have a balding, overweight, football-watching husband being thwarted somehow by the "more intelligent" thin, good-looking housewife who cleans up after him or whatnot Seriously, there are other types of couples that exist out there.

And then the ones where they ask you questions, like "Do you want luscious, long eyelashes?" or some such things, and then after I say "No," they just ignore me and keep on going, assuming that I do want what they're advertising I always hate it when the media assumes that everyone wants the same things, and I hate just as much that they're responsible for creating many of those artificial desires in society. There really should be some way to just fast-forward through that crap while you're watching it. Not that I watch enough tv anymore for it to matter, but when I do, I just do it at that moment, I cba to get into Tivo or any of that sort of thing because there are no regular shows I watch anymore.

I hated this as a kid. I couldn't stand looking at their faces when they sang that annoying song.

And the song would get stuck in my head for ages.

Unfortunately, the commercial I want to show isn't available on youtube. Its for a small car business in my state for Cartown Kia.

The commercial plays every one commercial, especially on my news station where I watch The Doctors. The announcer has a robotic, cheap voice that the commercials here in this state have been using since I was a child.

It gets really annoying because of the cheap robotic voice, the ugly flashy graphics and ugly hand-drawn graphics.

The most annoying is the recent Christmas commercial with this little hand-drawn family singing a Christmas song, but instead, they say "so trade it in for goodness sake!"

Arg! Its annoying!

Lol. The funny thing about Head-On is that it's been proven to do nothing for headaches.

To me, the most irritating commercials are the ones that are all.... Desire..... Passion...... Decadence...... More Desire..... Buy A Car.

Or the Levi's commercial from 8 or 9 years ago that had the buffalo running through a city or some crap. They're jeans. Settle down.

There have been more adverts than I care to count with that fucking irritating meerkat in it, and I am SICK of it. The fucking thing even has an AUTOBIOGRAPHY. It drives me absolutely INSANE.

This has gotten old, as well. It was quite entertaining and clever the first time around, but that was at least two years ago. Old singing is old.

...those dresses are GHASTLY. Plus they really can't sing...the rhyming puts old dubbed anime to shame, as well. It goes beyond being so bad it's good - it's so bad that it's enough to make you want to drive a knife into your eye. Repeatedly.

The CSL ads with women in their underwear. It's selling sofas, so whyyy? Throw in a few hunks and even out the balance, i t's not just straight men/lesbians that want a new sofa

That Frosties advert with that kid singing...oh my word... Im sure that kid got death threats

cant remember the shampoo, but its got cat deeley in it and she says swish one 2 many times and i want to thump her one

the one about companies using adverts to advertise, with that harvey dog. annoys the SHIT out of me

The Go Compare ads are by the worst thing ever excreted by the marketing world, they quite literally erode my soul. They always start with a seemingly innocuous(albeit pretty lame ad) and then that (I quite literally cannot come up with a noun sufficient to express my loathing) appears like an erupting volcano of irritation. And that song he sings just goes through my head and it never changes and never stops, and it seems to be on every channel all the time. And he has a big stupid head on him that I want to smash in with a kettle full of boiling piss.
