[Actual RP] Split Planet

Stephen sat in his room, slamming his hands on the Keyboard as he typed. "this is ridiculous" Stephen announced he was furious, he couldn't believe that pilots of the calibre of the Elites struggled in space. "damn it" Stephen announced before slamming his hand on the table, he opened the comm link to the bridge "Admiral" Stephen announced and the Admiral shook his head "do it, I'll release the info to them" he replied "thank you sir"

Stephen announced before standing up and walking out of his room. heading towards the hangar. as he arrived he strode through the hangar, he had his suit on, his helmet in his hand "so it's time is it it Stephen?" the mechanic asked "sure is chief" Stephen informed him "make it gentle" the Chief informed him "can't do that, the medics on the way?" Stephen asked "yes, they know of my Broken nose" the Chief replied at which point Stephen threw a right hook and caught him on the nose, breaking it.

Stephen then allowed himself to drift up to the cockpit of the Zero, taking his seat he slotted on his helmet and locked the seal, "Gotta make this look real" Stephen mumbled under his breath as he scouted around the hangar bay, the medics had gotten the chief out and the room was empty The Zero then burst from it's holds and moved towards the door, "gotta make it look real" Stephen muttered again as the Zero pointed it's twin buster cannons at the Hangar door.

Pulling the trigger, the doors exploded off of the ship. the Zero then Launched and headed out into space, "come get me" Stephen muttered as he flew towards the Lunar base.

Admiral Havok watched Stephen's movement through the ship an waited until the Zero had blown open the hangar shaking the entire ship "Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare for Anti Mobile suit combat, Stephen Howam has gone AWOL and taken the Zero with him, Cabel, Cecilie, Tomoe, and Lelouch all i can say to you guys is good luck, god speed, and Happy hunting.

(OOC: Okay guys, please let me know in your posts via and OOC clip such as this weather you are getting upgrades or new suits, as those who are getting new suits will be immobilized by me, those who are getting upgrades will take minor damage before the numbers game takes over and the Zero is destroyed, but i will be punching out and meeting you at he lunar base, the reason my char has gone AWOL is so the other Elites step up their game in space, and get the best training they possibly could without having to worry about getting hit by a pot shot by a Leo or something.
 
Lelouch was wondering what he could do to get better but before he could come up with anything he gets thrown from his chair and hear's a Explosion at the hangar

Lelouch:Stephen what the hell...Gotta go after him!

Lelouch still in his suit grabs his floating helmet straps it on and hurries to the Hangar,Everyone is in a Panic and trying to get a damage estimate,Lelouch kicks off the wall towards his Suit's cockpit and roll's in

Lelouch: Lelouch Sohm,Requiem 0 Engaging the Target!

He launches out of the ship and scans the area hoping the others catch up soon! before its too late!

As the Zero headed towards the Lunar base he got a visual of it "this should be close enough" Stephen muttered before flipping the Zero around and opening a channel to the Bahamut and her pilots "Don't fight me, let me go" Stephen announced but it was to late, Requiem had already Launched, after the channel was closed Stephen's eyes watered a little "I'm sorry, I can't hold back, this is the only way" Stephen muttered as the Zero released it's shield and pointed both barrels at the Requiem.

Pulling the triggers, one beam launched towards the Requiem, it was jut a warning shot, Stephen knew what he had to do, but it would be difficult as he had grown fond of the Elites, but this was the only way to make them better. "They have to grow stronger, the new suits awaiting in the Lunar base require the best pilots. I am doing this for the right reasons" Stephen announced, reassuring himself at the end.
 
"Don't fight me, let me go"

Lelouch heard him at the last second he see's the source of the transmission but,see's a beam of energy rushes toward's him,Lelouch manages to move away but his left arm get's damaged from the Beam

Lelouch:...!!,Why Stephen I thought we were comrades!

Requiem swing's his right arm sword out and burst's toward's Stephen in a rage keeping the blade pointed ahead of Requiem in order to cut the Beam's Stephen may fire

Lelouch:I cant let you go and you know that!!

He closes the gap and is about within range of Stephen,he only hope's that the Twin Buster doesn't enough power to break his sword.

Cabel Masters

Cabel was laying on his bed, the straps holding his body in place so he didn't float away when suddenly there was a loud crash, the whole ship shook and rattled. Cabel raised his head and listened, what was going on??

"Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare for Anti Mobile suit combat, Stephen Howam has gone AWOL and taken the Zero with him, Cabel, Cecilie, Tomoe, and Lelouch all i can say to you guys is good luck, god speed, and Happy hunting."

"Stephen's gone AWOL eh?" He said quietly to himself as he unstrapped his body from the bed, taking his sweet time. To be honest, Cabel didn't care. He hoped Stephan pissed off and never came back or that the other three in his team took him out. That guy was a hot headed little jerk who was quick to jump to conclusions.

Cabel made his way out of his room and to the Cabin where he peered through the large windows at what was going on. Lelouch was already out there fighting with Stephen.

This was when Cabel decided he wasn't going to help. He was in no mood to help, he didn't care about their captain going AWOL. Good on him, if Cabel could go AWOL without being shot on site he would.

The brunette stayed in the cabin and watched the fight commence.

as the Requiem charged towards Stephen a smirk crept onto his face, he was demanding answers and all the reply Stephen gave was "Because i can" adjusting his Aim slightly Stephen fired another shot from the twin busters and caught Requiem's sword head on, causing it to shatter.

Spltting the two busters apart Stephen Aimed them both at Requiem, one for the remaining arm, the other for the left leg, pulling the triggers both beams were released, directly after the shots, he connected the twin busters to the Zero's floating shield, for safety, and pulled out his beam Sabre, as it ignited Stephen awaited the reaction of the Requiem.
 
Requiem got thrown back from the blast's from the Twin Buster's of the Zero,It shattered the sword and it damaged the right arm some,as he was thrown back some he see's Zero aim at Requiem again

Lelouch: Damn I Cant Dodge it!!

The Twin buster's fire again,it takes away his left arm and left leg,thrown back even further,he noticed Stephen combine the Buster's and enter it's defensive mode,Requiem's right arm still worked but the arm took quite a bit of damage so it wouldn't have as much strength as normal,he grabbed one of the Beam Saber's at his suit's Hip and Ignited it,its blade grows

Lelouch:I wont give up yet!!

Pushes the suit to it's limit and speed's around Zero Circling it, it stop's on Zero's left side and charges forward swinging the beam saber down waiting on Stephen's Responce
 
As he requiem charged around he Zero, Stephen keapt facing him, the ace pilot couldn't believe the resilience of Lelouch, "why couldn't you just let me go" he muttered to himself as he ducked under the attack of the requiem, but lost half of his right wing to it, towards the end of the movement, Zero charged forwards with his beam sabre at cockpit height, but he would lower it at the last second and Aim to cut Requiem in two just underneath the cockpit and completely immobilize it

Flashback : before the Elites reunited
"Sir, they wont be ready for space combat" Stephen announced slamming his hands on the dinner table
"i know, but that can't be helped" Havok replied
"damnit sir, what are we going to do, rely on myself and Zero, you know the Americans are waiting for us between earth and the lunar base, and you know it's Tallgeese and heavyarms, i can't take them both out"
"you will have to try"
"Dad, Stephen, the only way they will become better is if they are fighting better pilots, you will have to be patient, and Dont worry about the Zero Stephen, your new suit is almost ready, it will be completed by the time you reach the lunar base" Havok's daughter then left the room leaving Stephen and the Admiral alone.
"what if i fake going AWOL, send the others after me, I'll give them the fight of their lives, they will have to step up their game to defeat me, and they will become ready for space combat"
"your an idiot and thats a dumb idea"
"Sir, the way i see it, it's a risk i have to take"
"Fine, near the Lunar base then, you better put on a good show"

Cecilie once again placed her hand at her head as she saw the Zero launch, followed by the Requiem shortly thereafter. She turned towards Tomoe and said, "Looks like I'll be heading out. Tell the mechanics and your aunt to get all the repairs done ASAP."

Cecilie put on the helmet that she had on and walked up to the Sandrock's engineers. Walking up to the lead engineer, she said to him. "It's time, hook it up..."

"Wait, you don't mean-"

"I'm going to need to bail out Lelouch and that Cannon is the only thing capable of doing so. Hook...it...up."

Cecilie's intimidation tactic worked, and the head engineer began calling all of the Sandrock's engineers to work on installing the Sniper Cannon, stolen from Russia along with the Sandrock model.

"Hold on, Lelouch, I'll be out there in a moment..."

Can't catch a break

We just cannot catch a break can we.....? And happy hunting? We're going up against a team mate here!

It was widely known that Tomoe was the incorruptible cloud of optimisim and happiness, but Admiral Havoc's comment bugged her. Hate is a very strong word to Tomoe, so she has never associated it with anyone, but Havoc irked her at times, which was pretty bad considering her personality. His latest order didn't help his case either, but if Stephen had gone AWOL, then there was not much she could do about it.

"Looks like I'll be heading out. Tell the mechanics and your aunt to get all the repairs done ASAP."

Cecilie dashed off towards Sandrock while Tomoe made her own way back to Unicorn. Stevie had commented that there was only a slight bit more tweaking before it was good to go. The mechanic ensured the slightly skeptical pilot that she could put it through the wringer and the repairs would last her until they reached Luna and even more. Scampering up the scaffold that the Unicorn was parked in, Tomoe maneuvered the Gundam, now rearmed and space worthy towards the other launcher.

Tomoe Fei, launching!

The white suit shot out of the catapult before its boosters kicked into over gear. The feeling was intense and foreign, but most important of all exhilirating. Just like her Aunt said, Unicorn was designed for space. Its ease of use in the zero gee environment was astounding. Tomoe had always wondered if Unicorn was substandard since it fared much less than her friend's suit but she now understood why.

Hold on Lelouch! Im on my way!

The red area of Unicorn left a trail behind it as it spliced through space and seeing what Stephen was doing, Tomoe quickly keyed in sniping configuration and let off a single beam towards stephen. It was aimed to just clip stephen as she was afraid that if it grazed Lelouch, his suit might explode.

Stephen cleaved the Requiem in two, just underneath the cockpit, but there wasn't a moment of peace, just as he began to move away from the Requiem, a beam caught his left knee and took his leg off from the point the beam hit down, the shin and foot of the Zero exploded and Stephen felt the force, he looked on his radar and saw the Unicorn coming towards him,

~I wasn't expecting her to take part in this~ Stephen thought to himself as he headed over to the Shield of the Zero and grabbed it, disconnecting the twin busters from it and pointing them at Tomoe and her suit "you want to shoot at me?" Stephen asked rhetorically "FINE!" Stephen shouted as he pulled the trigger and sent a beam back at Tomoe
 
With the Sniper Cannon installed, and final checks complete, Cecilie boarded the Sandrock using the lift and quickly got into the cockpit. The hatch closed as the Unicorn took off into space to combat Stephen.

The Sniper Cannon was a Russian model that was capable of firing 406-mm rounds, the shell size of weapons fired from a Battleship Main Gun. As a result of the intense recoil, the Sandrock was fitting with more powerful back-facing thrusters to keep herself from drifting off into space after one shot.

Heading up to the launcher, the clamps ready to pull her up into space, the catapult primed and ready to launch.

"Cecilie Losvaize, launching!"

Sandrock activated its main boosters as the catapults pushed Sandrock into space. With Sniper Cannon in tow, she expects to bring Zero down in about a few shots. She only needed enough to disable Zero.

Keeping her range away from Zero, yet keeping away from the Bahamut, she began the targeting procedure for the Sniper Cannon. Keeping her eye at the target on hand, Cecilie pulled the trigger towards Zero who had just fired a round at Unicorn. The 406-mm round left the Sniper Cannon, and the Extra Boosters kicked in to negate the recoil.

If the round connects, the Zero should be damaged considerably enough for Stephen to surrender.
 
moments after Stephen fired his shot at Tomoe, he noticed the Sandrock had Launched and fired something at him, "SHIT!" he announced kicking the thrusters of the Zero to avoid the shot, but it was too late, the left arm took the brunt of the hit, blowing it clean off and removing his left wing entirely. pushing him through space.

relinquishing the twin busters he pulled out his beam Sabre and charged towards the Sandrock, "YOUR MINE" he screamed as he headed Straight for Sandrock igniting the blade as he went, Sandrock fired of another shot, but Zero spun and dodged it, Stopping directly infront of Sandrock, Zero swung it's beam sabre in an arc trying to cut off the end of the Sniper cannon and render it useless.
 
Stephen's swing with his beam saber cleaved through the Sniper Cannon before the round would've fired, the result was that the Sniper Cannon had to jettison before it exploded completely.

But this wasn't going to be the end of that for Cecilie. Being a master CQC combatant, it was time to use some of her skills with her Gundam. She moved in to grab hold of the damaged Zero, and began to arm her Large Missile Launcher. It was risky though, launch it early and she'll get caught in the blast, launch to late and he'll dodge it easily. Even though she knows some of the Zero's capabilities, it all came down to luck.

"Alright, time for this nonsense to end." Cecilie said as she fired her CIWS directly at Zero's head. Even if it didn't destroy it, it is certain to damage crucial targeting systems among other things.
 
After taking out the Sniper cannon Stephen back away from Sandrock just enough to get a clear view of the suit, but this made Stephen vulnerable to head mounted vulcan cannon of the Sandrock, after taking a couple of blows to the head Zero's remaining arm came up to block the shots as the suit backed away until the head cannons were rendered inaccurate.

The Zero was banged up pritty well, it was completely missing it's left arm, wing and shoulder, Half of it's right wing and leg, and now to put the icing on the cake it had now lost it's targeting system, granted it didn't need targeting system as it wasn't using it's long range weapons, but that didn't stop the fact that the Zero could no longer aim.

"I have to finish this soon" Stephen muttered to himself as he glanced back over his shoulder to Tomoe in Unicorn, Returning his gaze to Cecilie Stephen gritted his teeth "just a little longer Old friend" he whispered as he patted Zero's targeting screen that was showing only static.

Unexpected perks....and complications

To Tomoe's relief,, the shot was relatively on target, taking out Zero's legs, but to her shock, Requiem was bisected at the hip. Still uesd to ground fights, even though she released the throttle on her boosters, Unicorn continued to drift forward and when Stephen let loose with his twin busters, her inital reaction was to apply her legs into a side dodge. Unfortunately, with a lack of solid ground in space, her action only made Unicorn tumble.

Shit......

Tomoe clutched the control orbs and stepped the pedal to the metal, but it seems like inertia was being a bitch that day and Stephen's beam bore down at her. In desperation, Tomoe raised her shield and secondary projections appeared on her screen. In a stress induced clutch, Tomoe activated something life saving in her suit. Unicorn's shield popped open at several areas and a slightly opaque, green glimmer appeared above it seconds before the beam connected with her shield. While Tomoe expected heavy, amssive damage, Unicorn instead floated unscathed. All the data pouring in screamed that her generator had sustained a massive drain in energy, but otherwise, she was alive, if dead in space. Unicorn's shield had retracted back to its original shape, but Tomoe was still puzzled about what has happened.

I field generator calibration incorrect.....please adjust before use.....

Whatever it was, it saved her hide, but she couldn't rely on it right now, especially if it stand by her suit for half a minute. From its camera's, Tomoe saw Stephen go into close combat with Cecilie. Slamming her foot down on the thrusters, there was no reaction for a few secontds before the suit hummed back into normality. Tomoe sent Unicorn shooting towards Stephen, her left hand wielding a saber and laying harrassing fire with her own head vulcans, and flew straight towards its right arm. If she took that out as well, then it was a sitting duck.

Uraaaaaa.!!!!!!!!!!

Unicorn swung down straight at Wing's arm, hoping to lop it off.

Cecilie's targeting systems began to lock on to the Zero as the slots opened up, revealing Large-sized Missiles by the neck joints. It took a few seconds, but the distraction brought by Tomoe and the Unicorn bought her enough time to get both locks on.

"Alright, time to end this nonsense." The Elite pilot pulled the trigger, firing both Missiles at the enemy. The missiles traveled at a slow speed, yet if they connected, should disable the Zero almost immediately.
 
"Time to end this" Stephen muttered under his breath as he allowed Tomoe to take his arm, and allowed the missiles to strike his chest, as they exploded, it launched Stephen and the Zero towards Lunar base, he crashed nearby and Stephen sat in his suit, he pulled down his keypad and began typing, sending a message to the Commanding officer of the base, informing him that the Elites piloting lesson was complete, but Cabel didn't take part, and they succeeded in taking down the Zero using team work, after this report had been sent and read, a team were sent to pick up Stephen and bring him back to HQ.

upon arrival Stephen was met by the lead mobile suit Engineer of the Lunar base and so Australia and her Allies "hello Mr Hownam, come this way" he announced, and Stephen followed him. Entering the new suit Hangar he looked around, "here are the tree new suits for your team, one for you, and two for team members of your choosing. the Freedom, in the centre is yours, we figured you should be kept with wings, the other two are for your team mates.

Smiling Stephen looked at the Freedom "Cecilie and Lelouch, they took the brunt of my attacks, they deserve them" Stephen explained as he headed up to the Freedom's cockpit, pulling down the keypad, he began typing away, looking over the weapon load out and other things.
 
Seeing the Fight end,Lelouch opened his com link to the other pilot's

Lelouch:Tomoe,Cecilie,are you two ok can you hear me?

Turn's on his suit's tracking becon just in case no one can hear his communication,he look's around trying to see if anything can be salvaged from the chunk of metal that was once Requiem..

Lelouch: Damn... look's like I can only Salvage some of the OS and Combat Data..

He sit's there in frustration waiting on the other's to find him before he drift's off
 
As Stephen sat typing away looking through the new suits capabilities, he had a smirk on his face. "they really went all out with this new suit of mine" he muttered to himself as he noticed Lelouch's tracking beacon begin to blip on his Screen, he opened a comm link to the Central command centre "hey, has a team been dispatched to collect Lelouch Sohm and his unit?" he asked politely "no Mr Hownam, Sadly there are russian forces in the area, aswell as the American ships you and your team fought off after breaking away from the planet, it is to dangerous to send out a collection team" the commander replied, "Sir, please allow me to Launch in the Freedom, i shall collect Lelouch and return him to Lunar base so he my take control of his new suit, we will need all hands at full combat effectiveness if we are to fend off either a russian or American Assault" Stephen pleaded "Very well, once you have been toed to the Catapult you may Launch" the commander informed Stephen before closing the comm link.

As the Freedom was toed to the catapult Stephen pulled on his helmet and closed the cockpit door, "here we go, maiden voyage of the Freedom" Stephen muttered as all the Launch lights went Green "Stephen Hownam, Freedom, Launching" he announced as the suit rocketed down the catapult, breaking free from the base Stephen put his foot down and was sucked back into his chair "man this thing is fast" he announced as he got a visual of the Requiem, "man, i really messed him up, hope he is okay" Stephen muttered to himself as he grabbed hold of the Torso that was left of the Requiem.

"Pilot Lelouch Sohm" Stephen announced through the intercom. "Don't be alarmed Lelouch, It's Stephen, you fought well, and so the exercise was a success, you may have alot of Questions, but now isn't the time, I am taking you back to Lunar base where you will receive your new suit, you have to get used to her quickly aswell, as both the Russian's and American's are nearby" Stephen informed Lelouch before the Freedom dragged the Requiem back to Lunar base and into the main hangar where Lelouch's new suit would be.

Once the hangar was re pressurized Stephen exited the Freedom and headed down on the zip line, pulling his helmet off when he reached the floor he walked over to the 'dead' suit and awaited Lelouch's disembarking.
