[Actual RP] Split Planet

Stephen Stood looking out over the hangar, 16 men and women stood looking back at him "Congratulations ladies and gentlemen, you have completed your training to become ace pilots, and although you all look really tired i Grant you the title of Ace pilots, you are to pilot the Ginn's we commandeered a year ago, and added a few upgrades to, now as well as a metal sword, the Ginn's are now Equipped with a hard shield with Vulcan cannon, and also greater boosters for manoeuvrability and speed." Stephen Explained as he paced back and fourth "i have taught you everything i can, and the rest you must learn for yourself, namely how your suits work, Congratulations, Kira, would you come here please" Stephen asked before walking towards an elevator.

once the boy had joined him Stephen punched in his access code and took the lift down to the lowest underground floor, as the Doors opened an almost Empty hangar stared at the two pilots, only one suit was looking back at them "Sir, this is the Ginn Hangar, but that suit at the end isn't a Ginn" the boy muttered to Stephen "I know, that's because it is the New prototype Gundam, the GAT X-105 Strike Gundam, It has three individual packs, the Aile striker pack, a pack that gives perfect balance between long range and short range. the Launcher strike pack, that gives preference to long range and the sword strike pack, that obviously favours short range" Stephen looked to the young pilot next to him who looked gob-smacked "so, you think your up to the challenge?" Stephen asked, to which the boy flicked bolt upright and saluted to Stephen "Sir, Yes Sir"

Stephen smiled at this, "anyway, you get acquainted with your new suit, I need to get going, Admiral Havok will have my head if im late" Stephen informed the new pilot before heading back up in the lift. as he reached the top, he strode through the Base towards towards where the Zero Gundam lay on a large flat bed truck, he climbed into the cab and looked at the driver, "Lets head over to the Bahamut shall we?" Stephen asked hypothetically to which the driver nodded and gave out a quick 'Sir'

it was strange, over the past year because of Stephen's instructor status he had been made to feel like a general, but he never really liked all the Sir's he had received. it was a short drive across the base, and upon arrival Stephen was met by a Red haired woman, and the Now Admiral Havok. he saluted the Admiral and then hugged the woman "tell me your going to be safe all the way in outer space" the Girl announced to which Stephen smiled "you know there is no pilot out there who can shoot me and the Zero down" he informed her, compassion in his voice.

"Hownam, your not the best out there, but your certainly one of the best, and the only four pilots who have a skill level as high as yours are returning from their Assignments now, their boats have docked and they shall be on their way soon" Havok announced "Daddy, why are you so mean to my man?" the girl demanded "im not being mean, i was merely letting the man know he isn't as good as he thinks he is, hunny" Havok replied with a hint of worry ni his voice, causing Stephen to smile.

"you should go" Stephen informed the girl, "I want you to go home, i shall send you video clips from space, i promise" Stephen informed her before kissing her, the girl nodded and walked off, at which point Stephen turned to Havok "Even after nine months you still can't stand that im dating your daughter sir" Stephen asked causing Havok to smile "don't be offended Hownam, i Can't stand any guy my daughter dates" Havok replied Sternly before barking at the flat bed driver to get the Zero on board the Bahamut.

OOC: this is the Bahamut

The Jeep took off, speeding down the base towards Australia's first spaceship, the Bahamut. Cecilie pulled out a pair of aviator shades from her pockets and put it on her face. She bought the shades from a shop in Wellington while on campaign in New Zealand.

As the Vehicle stopped in front of the Ramp leading up to the Bahamut, Cecilie saw her Sandrock enter the hangar bay. She later saw Stephen talking with Admiral Havok. (1)
Walking up to the two, Cecilie said, "Ah, it's been a while since I've seen you two." Cecilie saluted, after all despite the fact that she took command of the ADF's offensive into New Zealand and New Guinea, Stephen and Havok still outranked her. Going back at ease, she said, "So, how'd the new recruits go?"

(OOC: (1) How'd Havok go from General to Admiral despite it being ranks from two different military branches is beyond me)

As the Jeep Stopped,Lelouch Jumped off the side of the jeep, grabbed his Duffel bag and swung it over his shoulder,he then proceded after Cecile just following her since she seemed to know where to go,as he walked up to her he see's Havok and Stephen talking to each other.

Lelouch:Lelouch Sohm Back from Mission,Glad to see Havok and Stephen again!

Lelouch Stand's stright and Salute's them both, awaiting what they will say,he worries that Stephen was rusty from training the rookie's hopefully he is wrong and he's actually better than before

((OOC:Short post but Im kinda drained now =( ))

The Elites

Cabel looked around and noticed Stephen, Havok and some red head. The girl seemed to be Stephen's new bird... Cabel smirked. How did he even find time to pick up chicks?? Obviously he hadn't been doing much over the year... He then thought about the other three...Defending two countries would be hard, he'd heard no news on any of them passing so he assumed they were all good.

As Cabel made his way over to Stephen and Havock two familiar faces appeared. Lelouch Cecilie. Cabel felt a well of happiness in his stomach, he wasn't sure why, he hadn't been close to them before... perhaps it was just nerves... they were going to get their new mission today, their space mission and that was definitely something to be nervous about.

"Hey."
Cabel said, walking at them, lifting a hand in a semi wave. He gave a polite smile "Well we're reunited again aye? Were your missions a success?"

His voice had a stronger American accent to it now. It was all that extra time with Commander Ash. He also said a whole sentence without being an ass.

Again, Tomoe was the last to get back together. Rather, she decided on the way here that perhaps a pre warning to her Aunt about the suit might make the blows softer. Unfortunately, it revealed something even more blowing.

Yea... well.... thats the gist of it. Its pretty scuffed up, so i thought i'd just let you know.

.... Well, its not that big of a deal. You were heading into combat and i will be taking direct oversight of its repairs.

Uhhh... but Aunt... im heading into space soon, so.... i dont think thats possible.

Hm? You didn't hear? im going up with the ship as well. I need to do some experiments with space physics and calibration, so i will be up there. See you soon on the ship.

The phone clicked shut suddenly, leaving Tomoe stunned. It wasn't too bad if she thought of it in that at the very least, her suit would be in tip top condition. Climbing down from her perch, Tomoe grabbed her bag and let the mechanics and logistics people take it onto their ship. From her folders, it was called the Bahamut. When she regrouped with the others, everyone was present.

Ah... bugger.... great way to start my time back in the country. Heya Stephen, especially you Cabel. Glad to see you made it back alive frin the states.

She noted Cabel's heavier accent, which sort of made sense. Like always, Tomoe stood at a sloppy stance, rather than attention besides Cecilie, making for a pretty obvious contrast as to who was the more straight laced and who was the more sloppy one

So.. we all back then. What now? We get shot into space?

General Havok Stepped forward as Tomoe finally made it back, "okay for those of you who have been away, i was given the title of Admiral, this may confuse those who know our military don't have admirals, but the higher ups thought it was fitting because we have a fleet of ships in space awaiting a leader, Truth be told the Mass driver was completed 3 months ago, the guys at the top of the food chain chose not to recall you as your were all doing so well on your missions, and it gave Stephen and his Group of students a chance to get some combat practice in, after all, thee Russians did try a couple of attacks on it, but they all ended in failure." Havok explained smirking.

"the bahamut is to be the Flag ship of Australia's First Lunar fleet, with the aid of New Zealand and Papua new Gunea, we have managed to create a Lunar base, which the Russian empire and American union seem to be leaving alone for now, mainly because it is a research and supply station, anyway i digress" Havok muttered "Hownam" he announced with a nod before heading onto the ship.

Stepping forward, Stephen Smiled "Ladies and gentlemen of the Elite Squad, welcome home, we will be space bound in the next few hours, space combat is just like regular combat, only at a faster pace, trust me when i say it isn't easy" Stephen informed them, "now, here are your maps of the ships interior" Stephen muttered as he handed a map to each of the Elites "shall we get up there?" Stephen asked as he jogged up the ramp and into the Bahamut and headed straight towards the Hangar bay to check on the Zero, and to check out what kind of support suits they were going to get on this mission, bu it would most likely be some Leo's.

"Okay for those of you who have been away, I was given the title of Admiral. This may confuse those who know our military don't have admirals, but the higher ups thought it was fitting because we have a fleet of ships in space awaiting a leader. Truth be told the Mass driver was completed 3 months ago. The guys at the top of the food chain chose not to recall you as your were all doing so well on your missions, and it gave Stephen and his Group of students a chance to get some combat practice in. After all, thee Russians did try a couple of attacks on it, but they all ended in failure."

"So that was why Havok became admiral." Cecilie thought as she quickly processed the information she was told. She could only assume that the Russians that attacked Sydney twice must've been forces attacking from West Papua or retreating forces from New Zealand and Fiji...or both.

"The Bahamut is to be the Flag ship of Australia's First Lunar Fleet. With the aid of New Zealand and Papua New Gunea, we have managed to create a Lunar base, which the Russian Empire and American Union seem to be leaving alone for now. Mainly because it is a research and supply station, anyway i digress."

After the conversation, the new Admiral left for the HMAS Bahamut, leaving Stephen and the rest of the Elites behind. "Ladies and gentlemen of the Elite Squad, welcome home. We will be space bound in the next few hours. Space combat is just like regular combat, only at a faster pace. Trust me when i say it isn't easy"

"You say that like you've been to space before, Stephen." Cecilie said, taking off her aviator shades. To be honest though, although the Russians have engaged in limited space combat, and has honed on establishing Space Colonies, Cecilie has never fought in space herself. In addition, Sandrock, although has a pressurized cockpit, was unstable in zero-G environments, Cecilie would be a sitting duck in the rigors of space combat and she knew it for sure. Then again, most of the other suits in service probably wouldn't stand a chance in such combat conditions either.

"Now, here are your maps of the ships interior." Cecilie received the map to the Bahamut's interior before Stephen said, "Shall we get up there?"

"Alright, Kamerad (Comrade), besides I have to see how to configure Sandrock for space combat. I hope we have some extra thrusters." With that, Cecilie followed Stephen to the Bahamut, specifically its hanger, to see about the Sandrock Gundam.

"Okay for those of you who have been away, I was given the title of Admiral. This may confuse those who know our military don't have admirals, but the higher ups thought it was fitting because we have a fleet of ships in space awaiting a leader. After all, thee Russians did try a couple of attacks on it, but they all ended in failure."

So He's a Admiral now..well no matter.Once that was said and the situation was explained he nodded in acknowlagement.

Lelouch:So We have a Flagship and a Lunar Base now...Thank's for the Welcome back Sir,and I expect Space Combat to be difficult I summise from your speech that you got training in 0g enviroment?

Lelouch Doesn't worry about space combat since his suit was built for close range combat at high speed's,he wonder's if we will get any upgrade's for our suit's since some of them wouldn't be really be fitting for space combat

"Now, here are your maps of the ships interior."Lelouch take's the map and takes a quick ]glance at it"Shall we get up there?"

Lelouch Follow's Stephen and Cecilie up to the Bahamut

Cabel Masters
The Elites

Cabel listened to the 'Admiral' speak his face held a blank expression. He had been scolded for being too cocky, told he would blow his cover eventually, people would take notice of him inquire about him so he had to be on his best behaviour. Cabel wondered if being on his best behaviour would make people wonder about him, specially because they all knew the young man as a cocky jerk.

Once the Admiral had explained their situation he handed the crowd over to Stephen who handed out the maps for the Bahamuts interior. Cabel took one and had a look over it. It really was huge. It looked huge but the map showing all the rooms made it seem even bigger. He doubted he'd even get the chance to visit 50% of the places hidden inside.

He then made his way to the Bahamut following behind Stephen, Cecilie and Lelouch. "The Australians have done an amazing job on this thing." he said quietly as they walked through the halls. "We really are going to be a mighty force." The boy studied everything as he walked by it, any information on this gigantic beast that could be of use he'd make sure to take not. He was not here for any other reason although he was itching for another battle.

(OOC) Short post is short :P

As Stephen looked around the hangar bay, Stephen looked up at Zero, it's normally pristine armour covered in scrapes and dents "well old friend, looks like we are heading back to space" he muttered before looking down the hangar, seeing the other suits of the Elite Squad, along with 10 Leo's Equipped with space boosters and beam weapons. Smiling he turned around and headed out of the hangar bay and towards his Quarters.

Striding through the corridors Stephen knew they would be leaving soon, and thus he kept a hand on the railing at all times, reaching his room he took a seat at the desk and loaded his computer and he began typing through the system looking at schematics for new suits that the Australian technology team were working on.

"so many types of mobile suit" he muttered "wonder who they will be giving these suits to" Stephen continued as he leant back in his chair,

"ladies and gentlemen, this is Admiral Havok, please brace yourself for heavy turbulence and then weightlessness, we are Launching momentarily" Havok's voice boomed through the intercom, Stephen gripped his chair and prepared himself, then he felt the ship begin down the mass driver, the turbulence getting stronger as it went.

OOC: Sorry for not waiting tipsy, but it's been a few days.

Cecilie looked at Sandrock as the Gundam was fitted with jettisonable vernier thrusters, which would give it some degree of maneuverability, though not as much as it would in atmospheric conditions, and even there it had the maneuvering capability of a flying brick compared to the lighter, faster Gundams. This would make Close Quarters Combat very difficult and unnecessary damage be taken with relative ease.

Cecilie knew that it would come to fighting from beyond visual range, and it would come high time to use her Beam Carbine. Although designed to take on standard Mobile Suits, against Gundams she would be in a disadvantage. She hoped that it wouldn't be the case.

In the meantime, Cecilie headed towards her quarters, and wait for the ship to launch. She finally reached the room when she heard the announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Admiral Havok. Please brace yourself for heavy turbulence and then weightlessness. We are Launching momentarily."

Cecilie quickly sat on the bed next to her desk as the Bahamut launched itself on the mass driver. The heavy turbulence wasn't that bad, pilots were used to it as they took off from a Mobile Suit Carrier, but now Cecilie had only the Final Frontier to look forward to.

Lelouch See's Requiem being loaded into the hanger of the Ship and thought to himself..Space Huh...Well It'll be fun just wish I was a tad faster..maybe something will be done about it..He walks inside the ship and goes to his quarters following the map to his room.

Lelouch: Let's see this should be it...

He opens the door and a empty room sits there a bed and Monitor on the side most likely for commuincation between the bridge to any and all rooms in the ship

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Admiral Havok. Please brace yourself for heavy turbulence and then weightlessness. We are Launching momentarily."

Lelouch: Crap gonna have to hold onto something...

He See's a chair with harnesses on it and jumps into it strapping in and bracing for the launch

((OOC: I kinda feel bad just leaving Tipsynaruto behind =( ))

OOC: This one is also long overdue. Had Uni stuff, but im sorry. Ill just kinda skip a bit of the getting on the ship and just say she already got on.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Admiral Havok. Please brace yourself for heavy turbulence and then weightlessness. We are Launching momentarily."

Tomoe had decided to avoid Unicorn for now as her Aunt may be hovering around it for the next few hours. While she wasn't too concerned with Space Combat, it didn't mean she didn't feel excited about going into space. She had always wondered how the Earth would look like with her own eyes on a star speckled black backdrop. Tomoe skipped to her own room and quiickly spotted the monitor near her bed. Lying on her bed was probably enough brace for the launch and it also allowed her to watch the monitor as they launched. With a few seconds of fiddling with the channels, Tomoe managed to get the monitor to display the bridge camera. Plastered across her screen was the front tip of the ship plus the mass driver in front. It kind of reminded Tomoe of a roller coster.

A very expensive roller coaster.....

Twiddling her thumb, she waited giddily for the lurch of sudden acceleration

Cabel Masters

The group eventually split up and headed to do their own thing. Cabel decided to venture to his new room to unpack his things. He probably wouldn't have any time to do it later... they were always worked really hard here. There was no personal time, heck he hardly even knew his team mates... Cabel kind of felt a little sad, he put on a tough guy act but in reality he wouldn't have minded a friend of two.

He finally reached his room and began to unpack. It was a plain room, cold coloured walls, a single bed and some drawers. Nothing special and he was sure the others had a room that looked exactly the same. He'd never been one to really dress his room up with personal flair, what was the point when all he'd be doing in here was sleeping?

He hid his communication device under the draw of his new desk, just like in his old room and began to fold his clothes and place them in the cupboard when an announcement was played over the speakers:

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Admiral Havok. Please brace yourself for heavy turbulence and then weightlessness. We are Launching momentarily."

Cabel sighed, they'd be in space now and there wouldn't be any returning for a while... he had no idea what it would feel like in space and it made him nervous, he was one of the best fighters out there, what if he sucked in zero gravity??

For now he just hoped that everything was fastened securely to the walls or floor in his room so when the ship took off his stuff wouldn't go flying everywhere.

Stephen smiled as the turbulence got more and more forceful, an then he go sucked back into his seat as the space launch boosters took over from the mass driver's pushing system after minutes of being dragged back into his seat Stephen was finally able to sit forward, but he was also able to float across his room, "ahhh, the comforting weightlessness of space" Stephen muttered as he floated to his door and opened it, floating don the halls towards the bridge.

as he arrived he saw the admiral sat in his chair, talking to the Lunar Fleet captains over the com channel, Stephen looked around at the other members of the Crew and smiled as the admiral finished. Stephen strode over to the stand at his side, crossing his arms and looking out over the Fleet "It's been a while sir" he announced causing Havok to smile "you got rusty in our time on earth?" Asked Stephen to let out a chuckle "no sir" he announced.

"Sir, incoming mobile suits and ships, oh no, It's the Tallgeese and 20 Leo's, I'm going to make a guess and say that the Heavy arms is atop one of the ships" Stephen gritted his teeth "so this is where he has been" Stephen announced before leaving the bridge, as he was in the elevator he heard the alarm sounding to signify that the ship was entering battle, the admiral making the announcements to get ready for battle, and for the pilots to Launch in their suits as soon as possible, as Stephen reached the hangar he threw himself at the cockpit of the Zero "Cheif, make sure anyone who launches Leaves the Tallgeese for me" he announced as he closed the cockpit, he started up the zero and launched right away, heading towards the enemy units, and the Tallgeese firing rounds into the enemy forces from his buster rifle "GET SOME" Stephen almost screamed as he charged towards the enemy suits.

Cecilie heard the recent announcements that the enemy had found us leaving the atmosphere. Quickly getting up, the German Elite pilot rushed out of her room and headed quickly to the Bahamut's hangar. The explosions, while far off to the side, can be heard and seen in brilliant displays of color.

Not wasting any time, Cecilie made her way up to the Sandrock Gundam, using the lift to get her up there as quickly as possible. Taking her helmet and putting it on, she quickly led the Sandrock to the runway. "Cecile, take out all the targets in the area, but leave the Tallgeese to Stephen."

Tallgeese...Cecilie heard of the unit before, having fought against it in battle before, but it had been a long time since then. Knowing Stephen, it's best to keep to his wishes. With all the launch preparations complete finally said "Cecilie Losvaize, launching." The catapult system began to activate, launching the Sandrock out into space. Time will tell how well it will work in Zero-G battle, even with external thrusters.

Lelouch Heard the Announcement of a Enemy attack and jumps out of the chair trying to keep his balance in this new enviroment he rushes to the Hanger of the Bahamut,As he enters the hanger he puts his suit on and rides the wire up to Requiem 0's Cockpit

Lelouch:Sheesh never thought I'd be thrown into battle so soon..Gotta get moving!!

Lelouch Starts up Requiem 0,the System is at 100% and ready for launch..Lelouch Sohm,Requiem 0,Eliminating the Targets!..Requiem bursts out of the Hanger rushing after Stephen,he passes the Sandrock who has new thrusters on but it may be a hard battle for her he hang's back and asks her a question.

Lelouch:Cecilie want me to back you up? We cant afford to lose you and the sandrock,So I will Assist you if you want?

Cabel Masters
The Elites

Weightlessness, it was amazing! After that bumpy take off, the few minutes of wondering if you'd even make it into space and the wonder if you'd get burnt to a crisp when passing through the atmosphere, the fear was gone. All that was left was this sense of calm and freedom, floating through space.

Cabel had never felt this relaxed...ever! He closed his eyes and put his hands behind his head as he floated above his bed. Hopefully it would be a few hours til their first job, he wanted to stay like this for a while...

He thought too soon as an announcement over the speakers about enemy suits heading their way. Cabel groaned.

"You've got to be joking me..." He sighed, changing into his battle uniform and making his way to his suit.

Firebird ultimately looked the same as usual with a few upgrades to make it easier to burst through space. Cabel found himself pleased with this, He liked his suit just the way it was.

Once inside the Firebird he made his way to the launch way. He was instructed to leave the Tallegeese to Stephen. Obviously that guy thought he was top shit. Cabel just rolled his eyes.

"Cabel Masters ready to launch." came his unenthusiastic voice through the intercom, and Firebird blasted off. He'd have Cecilie's back along with Lelouch.

Cecilie want me to back you up? We cant afford to lose you and the sandrock,So I will Assist you if you want?

Cecilie knew that Lelouch was right. She, along with the rest of the elites were an indispensible component in this war with America and Russia. "I will need all the help I can get, let Stephen see about Tallgeese, we need to protect the Bahamut."

Taking the Beam Carbine in hand, Cecilie began aiming towards the Leo's that got in close, within range of the Bahamut's AA Gun Arrays. Carefully targeting the enemies, Sandrock fired off a few rounds. The beams punched through the Leo's armor and it exploded in a spectacular fashion.

"I will need all the help I can get, let Stephen see about Tallgeese, we need to protect the Bahamut."

Lelouch:Roger! I'll hang back and Support you and help guard the Bahamut!

Lelouch Send's word to the Mechanic's on the Bahamut which they then proceed to place Lelouches Requiem 0's Long Beam Rifle in a Thruster Container and launches it towards Requiem and Sandrock,it zoom's towards Requiem and reverse thrusters slow it down so it stops close to Requiem, after which the case opens and Requiem Grabs the Long Beam Rifle

Lelouch:I only get two shots with this but with any luck I can take out a few suit's the Particle beam is pretty large and ill get knocked back but ill figure something out..

Lelouch Took Aim and waited for any Leo's to get past Stephen

((OOC:EDITED to mechanic's and not Haros))
