It is a form of cowardice to launch into a diatribe in a debate forum and then say that you refuse to give anyone else a chance to respond to you. That's trying to control the discourse.
As for why it's emotional, no one can ever be 100% safe from everything. There's no objective way to prove it, and as long there is one other person on the earth, there is the chance that that person will do something bad. So it's not "factual." It's a subjective, unfalsifiable argument based on the emotional response of fear. Using words like "madman" also preys on fear. And really, "looking danger in the face"? That sounds like something straight out of a comic book.

People just pass it off as oh he didnt so anything so it doesnt count as GFX. When i enter the graphics challenges sotw etc. I never ever read the comments people leave. Ive won sotw 15 times and after my 5th win i learned to stop reading what people say. Sometimes the bad comments have theyre way of annoying you and upsetting so i just ignore them. I dont even look at how many votes i have
