Oh he definitely makes lots of sense in pretty much all aspects of his routines, I really like his anti anti-drugs ideas, as well as railing people whop did endorsements. Or winning the war in Iraq with 80 troops
I was listening to some of Hicks oldest stuff, and find I really dislike the elitist elements prevalent in it. I understand and appreciate his wit, intelligence ,and most of the points he makes, much more than when I was younger. I feel though, that his arrogance leaves a bit of a bad aftertaste
It was just the general question rather than a thread and yeah, I understand what you meant about the whole protein thing, I'm hardly the biggest guy out there but still taking 1g per 1lb just seems an insane amount. Definitely only looking for a cut look rather than body building (I doubt I'd ever get anywhere near the body building look anyway )
Admittedly I do use whey protein before and immediately after I hit the gym which tends to be 3 days a week atm (I don't do this whole 7 scoops of whey everyday for a year shit ) but that's more so because I have a high metabolism so I ended up burning a lot anyway. Definitely seen a noticeable difference mind since I started the gym both health and appearance wise
