How do you have your hotdogs?

Isn't the difference between tomato sauce and ketchup is that ketchup has vinegar in it? :hmmm:

I'm pretty sure traditional homemade tomato sauce is just mushed tomatoes and water?

I don't know.

Thank you.

There's another difference Connor.

And it's not my opinion. It's fact.

chili and cheese or gtfo :mokken:

What this guy said. Chili and cheese hotdogs <3

Although this may make me a bit odd but sometimes I will also put BBQ sauce + cheese on my hotdogs if I am in the mood for it.

how about

one of you just mails me some tomato sauce and I'll tell you if they're the same thing or not.

In Britain the terms ketchup and tomato sauce are generally interchangeable.

If there is a real difference elsewhere then we don't tend to notice it here, I think.

Lemme think... :hmmm:

Tomato Sauce, Mustard, Relish, Onion, Bacon and maybe cheese....MAYBE cheese :ahmed:

I SAID MAYBE! :rage:

Australians call ketchup tomato sauce. As far as I'm aware there isn't a single brand which labels tomato sauce "Ketchup" in Australia.

3 pages of debate based on a misconception. :elmo:

They're the same thing.
Perhaps Tomato sauce was too long for americans to be bothered reading.
