So I just thought I was being ignored...then all of the sudden...WHAM! Out of nowhere a PM comes that I was silenced? I was silenced for a long time too, but nobody informed me...I just figured nobody wanted to talk to me, so due to this, and the reasons of the hideous updates, I'm leaving...

First off, the same people that used to frequent this place no longer do, and those were the cool people...

Second, the moderators and staff, I've wanted to say this for fucking ages, the internet may need to be run like communism, but this place is more fascist than anything. I got a profile warning for a rule that was made up on the spot because of me. That was unfair, but I dealt with it...Then I get silenced...here's the story...

So, I'm chillin the SB talking about powers that would be nifty, someone asks if I was high. first, I was lightly insulted, not a ig deal, but insulted none the less. So I ask for an apology rather kindly considering my personality. This person who will remain nameless decides he doesn't owe me an apology, that pissed me off...so what do the mods do? Tell me to shut up when all I'm doing is asking for an apology...the one who did the insulting got away scott free as far as I know, I was silenced on the spot, but i wasn't even told. Not even being capable of understanding why I got silenced despite being insulted, i find it impossible to comprehend why I was not told after it had been so long

The community here either has to suck up to the staff or get infractions, I can't stay at such a forum.

The updates are absolutely ridiculous. there was nothing wrong with the old forum. The only thing I like more are the usernotes and it ends there. The SB is worse, the tabbed out SB was removed and that pissed me off, it looks very messy in almost every aspect above the SB and is overall an eyesore when I first look at it until I scroll down where everything other than the SB looks as it should.

It was fun for the first bit, then it all went downhill. I hope you improve, this time my leave isn't because I have to, but because I want to, so I'll be gone longer, assuming I do return which is not likely.



As for those I RP with, sorry for leaving like this, but I can't deal with it anymore. Kill me off, burn my body, and throw my ashes in the trash for all i care. I will miss the RP section, but that was all that kept me inside as many things pushed me out, most of which have not been listed, but I will keep them to myself.

Before anyone says anything, I am very aware that I am ragequitting and acting rather immature, but I still do think these things I speak of should be voice, I hope for everyone else things are picked up.

I don't think you have to suck up to the staff here, you just have to keep your nose clean and stay out of trouble, which is pretty easy to do. If you wanted an apology you should've sent a PM or just be discreet, if it were me I would have just let it fly but everyone's different.

Having been on staff, I have to disagree. I doubt the rule was made up on the spot, there may have been a misunderstanding as to why you got an infraction or maybe you didn't get an explanation you wanted but the chances of it being made up there and then are slim.

To be fair, I was there and you were asked to drop it several times by several staff members. The guy himself explained that it wasn't meant as offensive, it's not a common thing for people to be offended by being called "high" so it doubt it was ever meant to be offensive, and if he didn't think it was, he's obviously not going to apologise. As for being silenced without telling you, I've done it to people just to get them away with the situation without having to provoke it more by saying you'd be "punished" as it were.

Again, I have to disagree, it's easy to say that from the outside but having been on staff I can say to anyone for an absolute FACT that with the current staff, Mits/Tyler will not let anyone do what they want without discussion for 99% of the time - it's obvious you've seen little of staff in the past. I've had my run ins with staff members whilst I've been on staff both times and in between both periods and at worst I've been banned from the SB for a week by Dave when we got along; which in hindsight, was deserved.

A SB is a SB... more links and more links... more features and more features, you aren't forced to use them I honestly don't see the problem.
