That picture of the spider eating the bird isn't real, right? 8(

Nope, it's 100% real. Not trying to troll or anything, but it's seriously real. You know that part in Charlotte's Web where the spider catches a fish in her net?

That shit happens all the time. Works the same way with birds, I've seen it happen. :ryan:

funfact: For memory, Australia has the most species of venomous and non venomous snakes and SPIDERS in the world....

Greg Czechura from Queensland Museum said cases of the Golden Orb Weaver eating small birds were "well known but rare".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath_birdeater

Despite its name, the Goliath Birdeater does not normally eat birds. As with other species of spider (specifically tarantula), their diet consists primarily of insects and other invertebrates. However, because of its naturally large size, it is not uncommon for this species to kill and consume a variety of vertebrates. In the wild, larger species of tarantula have been seen feeding on rodents, lizards, bats and even deadly venomous snakes.

Thats right Mate:ryan: come down under and DIE!!! is the lesson:lew:

Being in the frozen wastes of the arctic wont save you, Arachnia are tough little bastards
and are highly adaptive, you know humans got the idea of the Diving bell from observing spider. Really.
