I prefer this one so much more then the blonde haired version you showed me. I think the colours look gorgeous and really bright. I like all of that, except maybe the little bright spot on her left boob side.

Jimmy Eat World text. Here we go, babe. I see us going back and forth from Paramore and Jimmy Eat World now... Just watch.

I couldn't do it. So anything we could come u with was perfect in my eyes. You did great for such a hard image to work with in my opinion. Text looks a tad funny. And you know why. xD

All I gotta say... Is border them!

Detail wise, I like how you made it look like the sun is shining down on her. I'm more of a fan of smaller signatures, but I really like this one.

Cute image for starters and those little circles around the polar bear make the signature feel playful and cute. <3

Lovely colours used and nice lighting.

The only thing I would suggest is changing the font. It's a bit out of place and I think it's a bit too big too.

I really like the blending on this tag. The lighting and brushing is nicely done aswell. Nice addition of the wings. It fits considering the hear you me lyric in the sig.
Im not particularly fond of the text. I think its to aggressive. Its quite big and bold whereas the rest of the tag has a soft feel to it. I think this would look better alot smaller and maybe with the text set on overlay. I think that would make for a nice look.

I like this one. Its so adorable and simple. =) It makes for a good signature without having too much going on on it. I like the text placement, too, its there without drawing too much attention to it self and away from the bear. ♥ Maybe a simple border would have helped the image more but in the end that personal preference.

The last one is my favourite of the lot though.

Fantastic background! The glowing gold bits look awesome and the girl fits in very well. Though I think I can see some of the background on her back.

Maybe try erasing that?

The lighting is fantastic and colours are lovely and rich!

Beautiful font used and I like how the text looks like it's got a shadow on it. It looks more solid.

The border looks lovely too.

Nomnom. I voted for this. It looks gorgeous. Rebelious border, amazing text. Papyrus, is it not? and Jack looks all creepy. The whole icon worked for the theme I think. Loved it.

Oh, you heard my opinion on these two alright. The first image is so loooooovely, xD I like how you snucked the text in there on both of them. Loving the overlay border.

Kill. Gorgeous song, gorgeous siggy. I liked her better with the red hair you gave her though, wasn't that the same person?

To the left of the girl's arm there is a green stripe down the middle, was that supposed to be there? xD I love the textures you've used on both sides. Text looks lovely as well, though I'm not too sure about the text on the left..

Jimmy Ate Ze Woruld. x3 Simple image. That's what I like about it. Namine is supposed to be 'everything's okay' looking to me, but in this piece she looks really depressed. Nicely done.

Goooorgeous greens on Vivi's face, the tiny-star dots.... Omg, green fireflies. x3 So pretty!!!! Text looks pretty to. xD Omg.. The greens... x3

I've told you this, xD The focal seems decent here. I love the scribble under Bad Romance, but I'm not sure about the lot of text on the left. xD I like how this has the whole "Swirl" going into battle, look.

Me likies. Rikku looks really vibrant and colourfull compared to the toned down colours of the sig. I like the text. xD I'm also quite liking the pattern you have going on at the sides.

I think you work best with these colours. The warm, shiney, golden, glowy stuffs. That's what always looks gorgeous in my honest opinion. Such a full background you have going there, yet it looks perfect. I looooove the text.

Also... Try using a cursive (or curly) font, and a straight font sometimes. Like have two lines, and use both those. I got this advice from Lewis when I first started out with text, and to be honest, most of the time it looks really well. <!--Session data-->

Love the text and the border. The effects were decent, but don't overdo the lighting that much ¬_¬ Warm colours FTW. etc. etc.

This one is very pretty!

I love the purples and pinks throughout and the pretty sparkly bit over on the right behind the text.

Very good blending of the girl and the text is done very well!

Good blending though I think her hair could do with a tad bit more blending.

Lovely image used. Very good quality.

I think the background let it down though to be honest.

It came across as a bit too busy and didn't really seem to fit in with the girl that well. I do like how the streaks of white light were angled towards her face though.

It did help establish the focal a bit more. =)

The colour of the border didn't really work in to well with the black and white theme that seemed to be happening though.

I'm not quite sure what happened to the border but over in the top left hand corner it seems to have been cut off.

The image is placed well in the centre creating a good focal.

The text is placed close to the focal as well which helps it along.

Nice angle of the white streaks towards the girl too. It helps the focal along.

The colours are lovely and warm and the soft feel of it all is appealing.

Lovely sparkles throughout the signature and the lighting works well.

I would try to remove that big faded circle near Rinoas head though. It looks a tad bit off.

These two are my favourites outta your selection. I think in the first especially uv placed everything rather well and uv kept the colours complimentary. Good colours is the number one thing when making a tag imo as without that no matter how good everything else is. . it will look outta place if the colours are off. So good job there.
I noticed uv used topaz clean on alot of your tags. Watch when using it. Too much leaves everything flat and your depth becomes non existant. Try either erasing then sharpening around things like eyes or anything that has good detail and ul see a massive difference. I actually did a mini video on topaz on my youtube. That might give you a better idea as to what i mean.
Other wise good work jess. Your work shoes improvement each post so your going about things the rightway. Nice job

This is definitely my favourite out of the whole bunch. You blended her in nicely, the text looks alright, I think it could've been a tad bigger. Also, I find that d of that font a pain in the ass to use, I always just take a different font to just change that letter. 8F It helps.

I already said I loved this icon, and I think the whole message is gorgeous. The heart, and the image it self look really nice, I don't know why but that simple border works reaaaaally well.

The images look cool and I only recognise one bit of text from Katy Perrys part in Starstrukk. If the other text in the other icons are lyrics too I don't recognise them. XD

Probably one of my favourites pieces you've posted in this thread.
I like the lighting a lot and bubble effects. They work very well. I also like how you used a mirror image without showing her face. It adds some flair and originality to the LP. The colouring also gels all the elements together nicely.
I'm not a fan of the text, the irony being that I think a better message would be conveyed without it.
Terrific IMO.

Easily the best avatar that week. It's actually very good regardless and I can't fault it all really. Very creative, I like the skull and flowers being combined.

Nice. I think the text could be improved. Maybe add some cursive fonts to balance out the serif ones. Nothing too fancy though IMO. The bubble and 'shattering' effects add great flow to the tag.
I like the creativity in this and how you used an inverted image. I feel like it needs to pop a bit more though. Try setting a B/W gradient map on Luminosity or apply the image, use a high pass filter and set it on soft light to give it that extra 'oomf'. (If you use PS that is, I can't remember what software you use)

Again, creativity. I think you should have gone farther with the picture frame idea. I prefer it to the girl on her own and the large image becomes distracting especially when I want to look at the intricate frame and the girl together.


All I would say is, try to use more stocks. They add more depth and detail to your tags. The BG's you use are nice but don't always fit. For example the Chris Redfield tag is crying out for a grungy background. Maybe a ruined city or some grungy mansion.

You make very creative and interesting pieces Jess. Creativity is a great gift (which you have, obviously) and there is a distinct lack of it the GFX section's of many forums I've seen. (IMO) You should post more often!

I really liked this one.

It definitley went along with the theme.

The gun pointed right at you looks awesome and I like the red splatter off to the left of her.

The signature has a nice simple look about it too.

Great text and the border works well.

Love this one.

The simplicity of it looks great and it portrayed the danger theme well.

Love the black and white colour scheme.

The white border really makes it stand out nicely and the font you've used works in nicely!

This one is really cute.

I especially love the blue and purple colour scheme. It's so pretty and works well with the colours of the girl too.

Love the blue bubbles throughout the signature and the sharper white ones in the background give off a nice effect.

The transparent border looks nice too but. =)

Ok here goes xD

1.This is a terrific sig, the blood splatter really adds to this sig whereas most sig attempts I've ever seen attempt to use it, the blood splatter tends to draw from it, The text is fabulous and excellently placed, well done xD

2. This one is very cute, and I like the brush effect off to the left of the sig as well as the blending work that has been done on the character, again a very good choice of text for the sig really brings it out xD

3. A good Chris sig, I like the choice of super imposing a larger part of him into the background, and the colour suits the signature very well, my only quip which is very minor is the Chris part of the Chris Redfield text is a little hard to read, other than that its an excellent piece.
