And you're 70 years older. . .yes. Wrinkles, broken hip, retirement home. Lolwhut? I'm not even out of 12th grade yet. But the fact is that you're elderly and brittle, or maybe you're already dead. Depends. Lesse, I'll be 87 and a half. So I'll ask myself these questions, that you may have seen in the first 'You Wake Up One Morning. . ." thread:

1. What would be your first reaction?
2. What do you think you'd look like?
3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?
4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?
5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?

and consider these questions as well:

6. How old are you for that day?
7. Good shape or bad shape?
8. The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still alive or dead before then?

As for me - I'd probably cry. I only stayed young for 17 and a half years and I end up fast forwarding by 70. Who'd enjoy that? Never know.
I think my hair would be silver (I wouldn't mind. I like silver hair.) (or maybe I'd wear a wig to still look hip. l0lfail.) and I'd probably be a walking tree. Since I'm a little scrawny currently, I'd probably need a cane to go around then. I'd probably stay in bed all day and let my grandparents wake me up. No use trying to hide at this age, so I'll just explain everything and then try to relate to them, considering I'll be about 10 years older than them. As for my friends, they don't have to know immediately.
I'd be SO happy if I went back to being 17-almost-18. If I stayed like that forever, I would think the phrase "Life's too short." is actually accurate. Hopefully I'll still be alive when I wake up the next morning.

And now for you all. . .

1. I'd probably faint from shock and at that age, doing that may just kill me.
2. If I had to guess, I'd probably look a lot like my father now, just older.
3. I fainted so odds are they would find out before I even get the chance to do anything.
4. If I wake up, odds are I will probably be in denial the whole day.
5. Happy easily. I am missing 70 years of my life here so I'd definitely be happy to be back to normal.
6. 92 :sad3:
7. Dunno how age would treat me but going based off how I am now, decent.
8. Depends on how lucky I am. Although given my age, the odds of me living through the shock and old age are slim.

1. What would be your first reaction?
2. What do you think you'd look like?
3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?
4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?
5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?

1. First panic, and then depression. To think that suddenly 70 years of my life were suddenly gone would be very devastating.
2. LOL hard to imagine. Hopefully I'd look like one of those cute old ladies that you want to hug because they are the type that will bring you milk and cookies after school everyday.
3. Did 70 years pass, or am I just 70 years older? But I guess I would try to hide it for a bit. Simply because no one would recognize and they would probably think I was an intruder or a lost senile person.
4. Sit on the couch and watch old people TV XD. Maybe do some knitting and lecture to some youths about how things were better in my day... I would be 93 years old so there isn't much I could do. But seriously, I don't know that I coul adjust. If I did, probably just sit and enjoy the scenery because I'd probably be under the impression that I didn't have much life left.
5. I would be very happy if I was back to normal the next day and very relieved. I'd probably be convinced that everything was all a dream. And I'd probably be much more appreciative of my youth.
6. 93
7. At 93, probably not very good shape
8. I really can't say. The shock might give me a heart attack. But if I survived that then probably alive.

1. What would be your first reaction?
"Shit, I ache more than usual..."
Probably. I'm always creaking and cracking, so I'm not sure how much more I'd ache if I was older. If not that, it'd be screaming. LOTS of screaming.

2. What do you think you'd look like?
Well, I'd keep my hair colour, because people with my hair colour apparently don't go grey. However, I expect I'd have considerably less hair, if any. Otherwise, I'd probably look like a prune that had been left out in the sun for a couple of decades.

3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?
I expect they'd find out, because the screaming would alert them, as would my continued sobbing. However, if I regained my composure, I'd totally lord it over them. After all, what is the point in being old if you can't get younger people to do whatever you want?

4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?
I'd write my will. After that, I'd sit around drinking tea and watching Deal Or No Deal and shopping channels.

5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?
Disappointed. After all that, I could have at least been given a nicer figure and more manageable hair by way of apology...

6. How old are you for that day?
...90, nearly 91 >.>

7. Good shape or bad shape?
Well, considering as how I'm in awful shape and will be very surprised if I live to see 30, I'd probably be in bad enough shape that I'd die without ever waking up after the change happened.

8. The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still alive or dead before then?
Like I said, the change would probably kill me. The shock might, as well. Probably dead.

I'm pretty sure I'd be dead :sad3: Id be, uh.....107 :gonk:

1. What would be your first reaction? ....''MMMMMMMUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM''
2. What do you think you'd look like? A prune ]:
3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved? No way would I tell anyone xD
4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust? Get one of them mobile scooters and bomb about on it, maybe become abit of an asbo granny, might as well
5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed? So so happy D:

and consider these questions as well:

6. How old are you for that day? 107
7. Good shape or bad shape? bad shape I imagine
8. The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still alive or dead before then?
Id better be alive, though, 107 and me beingme, i might be dead ]:

1. What would be your first reaction?

Scared shitless. I always talk about how scary it will be to get old. To go from being youthful and wrinkle free to suddenly old is the scariest think I can imagine.

2. What do you think you'd look like?

Ugh, probably still skinny with saggy wrinkly skin and short curly grey hair. =(

3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?

I don't think I'd have a choice but to let people know. I'd probably be too old to move anywhere real fast and hide out for a day.

4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?

I'd have a really looooooooooooong nana nap.

5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?

Freakin' happy! My youthful body is back! Wootage!

What would be your first reaction?

"This is weird. Getting out of bed usually takes less time and less pain than this..what is this? Arthritis?" Then I would glance into my mirror, notice an old woman looking back at me, put my hands on my face and just scream. I think I might have had a nightmare similar to this, but the horror and shock of realising that I'm old for real could probably finish me off.

What do you think you'd look like?

Like any old woman I guess. I'd certainly be wrinkled with a lot of my (grey and white) hair missing. I'm basing this on my grandmother of course. No doubt I would bear some resemblance to her. xD

Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?

Similar to the last thread, I would be too upset, shit-scared and probably have totally lost it by now. My screaming is conspicuously suspicious enough to attract attention from someone in my house. Whenever something traumatic happens to me, I would rush to tell someone I know and trust to stop me going totally insane. Similar to the situation in my last thread, my parents would probably just go insane as well, demanding to know who I am, why I'm in their daughter's room and run around trying to err...find me.

What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?

Knowing me, if I haven't kicked it in the shock beforehand, I probably won't last long for the rest of the day. I can see myself with dementia or something similar - totally senile, forgetting who the heck everyone is, who I am even, and what the heck even happened beforehand.

The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?

Words would fail to even come close to describing how fucking pleased, relieved and ecstatic I would be. Still, it would be a shame to stop using the "Back in my days.." or "You kids just don't know what it was like during the war" phrases when talking to young people.

How old are you for that day?

87, approaching 88.

Good shape or bad shape?

I probably won't be able to even walk well. xD

The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still dead or alive before then?

Who knows. I'm one of those klutzy, disaster-prone individuals. If I'm in my late 80s who knows just how disaster-prone I might be in just one day. So if I'm not dead in the morning, I'd at least be in A & E or something.

  • Gosh, I'd be 91... I'd probably be very shocked then very upset. :(
2. What do you think you'd look like?

  • Assuming I have taken care of myself in these missing 70 years, I HOPEFULLY won't have a bent back from osteoporosis. I'll probably be very wrinkly, have grey hair (or white...:hmm:) and...who knows?
3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?

  • I doubt my friends would believe me. I'd just be a crazy old random lady, so what reason would they have to take my word for it? :wacky: I'd try to resolve the issue first.
4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?

  • No idea...
5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?

  • HAPPY! OVER THE MOON! Think of all that time lost and regained. I'd probably start being more productive ALL the time rather than most of the time. :gonk:

and consider these questions as well:

6. How old are you for that day?

  • 91.
7. Good shape or bad shape?

  • Good shape for my age.
8. The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still alive or dead before then?

  • I'd like to think I'll live to 91 if I maintain my healthy lifestyle. :wacky:

1. What would be your first reaction?
I would probably think I was dreaming, or was going delusional or something, or wonder if someone spiked my drink. Then once realising it was real, I would probably become very upset and disturbed.

2. What do you think you'd look like?
:hmmm: Probably an older crinklier version of what I am now, I would probably have old grey hairs though and my hair would be short coz old people with long hair look weird.

3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?
I am pretty sure I'd be running to my mum or sister in a panic asking them for help, they'd definitely find out. Dunno about my friends though :hmmm:

4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?
I'm an old lady, I will be sore and tired so I will probably sleep.

5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?
Happy obv. No one wants to be old.

6. How old are you for that day?
92

7. Good shape or bad shape?
I would be in bad shape, i don't really take care of myself all that well.

8. The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still alive or dead before then?
Probably dead :hmmm:

1. What would be your first reaction?

I would think I was crazy and I would go along with it and pretend I'm a crazy old man for the day...

2. What do you think you'd look like?
Bald and wrinkly. I may or may not have a cane or walker :hmmm:

3. Would you let your relatives/friends find out or would you hide until the issue is resolved?
Showing everyone would PROBABLY be the most interesting aspect of the day, so why not?

4. What would you do for the rest of the day if you tried to adjust?
I would most likely sleep. Not much an old person can do :(

5. The next morning you're back to normal. Happy or disappointed?
What the hell do you think? :ahmed:

6. How old are you for that day?

87

7. Good shape or bad shape?
I will most likely be in terrible condition ;_;

8. The next morning you're back to normal, but are you still alive or dead before then?
I'm probably dead... :sad3:

1. "Fuck" would be my immediate reaction when I realize I've changed.

2. My partially grey hair would either be completely grey or gone all together. I would look like the common grandpa. Glasses, ugly Christmas shirts, walker most likely, etc.

3. Well if I'm even able to get out of bed for the day, I'd still stay hidden in my house.

4. I'd sleep. Why not be lazy, when you kinda have no choice but to be lazy for the day! XD

5. I'd be happy as fuck. I like being 15. I'm all young and stuff.

6. If my calculations are correct, I'd be 85 years old.

7. Horrible shape most likely. Then again I could be decent. But most likely not too good.

8. I'd probably be dead. From trying to get from place to place, but it being too much work.
