Why's there a closing date for the poll......?

Anyway, it can't be anything other than the original game. The game is just made of more win than the sequels prequels although I did really like Crisis Core, DoC was ok and Advent Children I found could have been way better than it was >_>

I don't think any of the others come close really. I don't know what that lost episode shizz is but I'm pretty sure that's not all that great either, and I obviously wont be playing Before Crisis anytime like ever either.

Wait wtf, I didnt read that proper, out of all those Crisis Core was the best >_>
 
Why isn't the original game in the poll?

I haven't played Crisis Core yet, but will in less than 3 weeks, and that will probably be my favourite of those, but currently it's Advent Children for me, I think Dirge of Cerberus is rather disappointing, even if it is a little bit of fun anyways... >_>
 
Defintely Crisis Core (Out of the possible options, XD)
Advent Children: Could've been better, yeah...
Dirge of Cerberus: Fun and all but doesn't have that final fantasy touch...
And the other two: they're so unknown... XD
 
Final Fantasy VII. I know I don't love it all that much, but it beats any other installment here.
 
I would have to say Advent Children, mostly because Dirge was fun like everyone said but it just didnt fill the final fantasy need that you get from the other games, and or movies. And I havent played crisis core so thats why I didnt pick that.
 
Well, for me, I thought the original was the best. But, from the list offered, I'll say the best out of those would definitely be: Crisis Core. No chance of playing Before Crisis, Dirge of Cerberus ( Badd in my opinion ), Advent Children was decent and far from being a masterpiece, so yes it would be Crisis Core. I really enjoyed playing through Zack's story and learning more about him, etc. I also loved the battle system!
 
I'm going for Crisis Core mainly because I generally liked the story better than what I did with the original game plus I think Zack was a better main character on the whole...DoC didn't feel all that much like an FF title to me although it was still a pretty decent game, and Advent Children is a film so I didn't vote for that. :wacky:

I think what Waytodawn means is which FF7 prequel/sequel is the best.

If thats the case I vote for Crisis Core, although I would vote for the original if it were there.

yes finally got the point of the thread and what my point was aiming for yes i was going fo rwhat prequel/sequal was the best that is what i meant sorry if it was causing some misconfusion.
 
Crisis Core by a long mile. The story is better than the other parts of the compliation, the gameplay is better, and it doesn't really rape the original classic game.

Gotta agree with you, the original was the greatest out of all the VII titles. I'll agree again Crisis core was best after that. DoC was pretty cool it gave a great prespective, but it was way to short. Crisis core is awsome tho I haven't finished it yet, I'm working on finishing all the missions. Advent Children, yes it could have been better, but everything can be better theres always something that we think could have been better. It was still an awesome movie though. In order of greatness, givin I havent played Before CC or the second DoC:

1. Original (I don't care if its not an installment it's still the best.)
2. CC
3. :zip: Advent Children
4. DoC
 
The Original Final Fantasy VII :neomon: but I voted Crisis Core since I think it's the best after it because wtf is DoC Lost Episode? and Before Crisis Sounded dull I mean it's on Cell Phones :gasp:
 
The original. I feel that the the other installments were a joke compared to VII it's self. Though I liked the others... They just in no way shape or form compare to it.
 
As many others have stated, hands down, the original installment, but since there was no option for it I chose Crisis Core (like we even need a poll to tell us that :dry:).

In a nutshell, it was something I was expecting or at least hoping to see. When I first played Final Fantasy VII I was so interested in this guy "Zack" and what his deal was instead of Cloud. I wanted to know more about the events that happened as a result of the game, which was still amazing, by the way. You can't imagine how thrilled I was to hear that they were going to actually make Crisis Core, because it was the one thing I really wanted; not all those other ones.

And unlike the rest of the compilation, Crisis Core was actually done rather well. The new characters they introduced didn't hurt the story at all, but rather, enhanced it. The story itself was just simply heartbreaking and actually evoked emotion from me. And although the battle system was a tad bit annoying, and I wished it would've been on another console rather than the PSP, I still enjoyed it much more than the others. It had purpose and it had direction, and to me, they nailed it. :)
 
I checked Crisis Core because I loved that game! Although the story seemed a bit weird, I still loved it! The combat system was innovative and really fun to use. It had its downsides (like
summoning being too random and that you'd have to wait ages to escape from a battle and that usually meant you got hit at least once while trying to escape...
) but it worked like a charm! The graphics and voiceacting were just incredible! I loved everythign about that game! My only wish was that I'd gotten the english version instead of the german one but oh well >.<
 
Um. The actual game.

It was miles better a sit was genuine. In my opinion, the spin-offs killed it.

The death of the series was worse than the death of Aeris.
 
What is the point of asking a question if we can't choose the correct answer? Imagine if in School they asked you what 2 + 2 was but only let you answer 5, 10, or 72. (by the Way 5 is Crisis Core, Close but still wrong)

The original FFVII is still the best. :P I didn't really like AC nor DoC, and I haven't played CC yet. The spin-offs sometimes contradict FFVII's canon, they tend not to be of the highest quality, and I like FFVII's ambigious ending. Plus, they really do just focus on the same few characters at the expense of the rest. I mean, one of my favorite characters in FFVII is Red XIII. And...yeah, not in the spin-offs, really. I do really want to play Crisis Core, though...
