Other than the game itself, Crisis Core by far. It's story ended up being so sad and the cutscenes were actually all valuable and fun to watch(not like DoC with those cutscenes I don't really care for). =)

Crisis core!! :) the ending was so epic... it looked so much cooler then how zack died in ff7

The Original Ofcourse But since i cant Vote for that one I Go for Crisis Core Zacks story owns

Well even if I could vote for the original VII, I wouldn't. Granted it was a good game, a great Final Fantasy game, but it was just filled with too many minor mistakes (and a few major ones) and plot holes that just rendered the game unenjoyable. My vote goes to Crisis Core.

The game gives some back story to Zack's character, which is amazing, because technically, in the orgininal VII, you play as Zack throughout a good duration of the game, and seeing the real Zack, and his personality was really neat, and we could pick up on things and say "Oh, I remember when Cloud did that!". It was filled with easter eggs to pay homage to the original VII (the Emerald WEAPON easter egg being my favourite ^_^). It's music was just memorable, but at times got repetitive, but still, how can you go wrong with The Price of Freedom? Cissnei's character was also really well done. The end of the game left much room for speculation on who she is, and what she's like (or who she likes ;]). Angeal's character was also amazingly well done. We all know that Zack was Cloud's mentor, and know we know how Zack got to be the way he was, of course, he throws in a little bit of his own personality to keep it fresh.

The gameplay was stunning, again, some of it got repetitive, but that's fine, because once you started doing the missions (unless you're a grind freak, such as myself), you'll be heading into dark territory for some difficult missions. The background visuals were jaw-dropping, character designs, too. All the different materia combinations you could have, materia fusion... You could play this game ten times, and each time could find a way to play it differently, rely on different materia, or different accessory combinations.

And then the ending. I won't spoil anything for anyone who for some reason doesn't know what happens, but it just leaves you in awe. Players know what happen (or at least should) to the protagonists, but Square managed to end it in a way that no one would forget. Throughout the entire ending (even during the fights with Shinra prior to the ending FMV), I got chills and goosebumps. The music during those last moments played a big deal, but what sealed it in stone was thinking about all that Zack's been through, what he's about to endure, and who he has to leave behind. If you'd taken some things out of this game, you could easily turn it into a chick flick, because that ending is just so damn sad. Just look at all of the female Final Fantasy players. Most of them will tell you that VII was their favourite, because of the amount of love and sadness in it.

In conclusion, Crisis Core was definately my favourite from the compilation.
