I keep reading stuff and hearing that FFXIII keeps getting accusations for Sarah lightnings sister.

They say that she looks alot like a hentai character and I can't reall imagine it like that.
Would someone help me with this please. I'm a teeny wee bit confused. :)

And I actually kinda agree with the character design lols, but I'm sure it was accidental.
 
It's Serah. And I don't even remember where I read that article.

It was just amusing to see what people would compare designs to. No matter what it might be.
 
I think it is more than weird that people would think Serah was based off a hentai character. Serah is just a cute and useless girl. I think it is more of the dirty minded people who would assume this. Her outfit is meant to be cute. Just because sick minded people think she looks like loli bait doesn't mean she is automatically based off of some hentai girl. The same can be said for a character like Ashe, Penelo Tifa and the like. Anything can be assumed as a hentai thing when it comes to Japanese character designs. In my opinion Serah is not lolibait and neither does she even look it. Her facial expression would look different. People will just use any girl as loli bait and make some perverted toon out of the character. I do not agree that she looks like a hentai character at all. None of the FF characters really do. Just blind accusations by people is all. People will think that Japanese designs look like hentai characters just because of some exaggerated features and poses.

I wouldn't say she looks like a hentai character, though...she's just your standard-issue girl who claims she is eighteen and in reality she looks like she's about twelve or thirteen. That just makes her jailbait, not a porn star. I think that is what most people mean when they say she looks like a hentai character. So, their terminology is off, but their assessment is fairly accurate.

lol I was wondering the same thing when I first played the game, I just thought Snow had a thing for the young ones xD but back on Serah's design Its just what people think, you wouldnt beleive the things people compare any videogame characters too, I think her design looks great nothing wrong with it :) Im curious to see what happens to the other characters outfits beside Team NORA looking exactly the same lol
 
Sarah is the least attractive character from Final Fantasy I have seen in 3-d. Honestly she reminds me of kingdom hearts which I think takes her "OH HOED AM I" charm.

Of course playing her character will probably change that. I have found though Lightening is very FF sexy from first sight.
 
In my personal opinion I don't think she looks anything close to a Hentai character. Her role in the game, is the sweet and innocent younger sister of Lightening who turns to crystal. Maybe there are a few pervs out there that made their own little cartoon with a serah look alike because they think she looks Loli, just as Elena Fisher and The Nutcracker have stated in their posts. She's just adorable, and people only WISH she were a hentai character because they are, as I have stated above, pervs.
 
Yeah, I thought she kinda looked like some kind of hentai chick when I first saw her (Without the large bust, of course). I thought she looked like she was twelve, and being with Snow seemed like pedophilia. Then they got all cute and romantic and no more f*cks were given.
