Hey there forum, my name's Dave (28) and from British Columbia, Canada.
I guess it's pretty obvious I'm into Final Fantasy lol. My first experience with Final Fantasy was when my uncle gave me Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for the SNES after he found out he didn't like it. My uncle didn't like games PERIOD, I don't even know why he owned a SNES haha. I know Mystic Quest is a pretty dumbed down FF, but it's what got me into the series haha. Than my next experience skips all the way to Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX (9?), X, XII (didn't finish), FFVII DoC, than oddly enough FFV (advanced) and I just bought FFXIII last month and I'm about to give it a whirl soon before I consider buying FFXIII-2.
I enjoyed Monty Oum's Dead Fantasy series and I hope that it's fairly popular around this forum. I'd like to hear what everything thinks of this series. I really hope it's worth the wait, it's been such a long time since DF5 and the preview from last year.
I'm a PC gamer @ heart I guess, I'm always in Quake 4, Left 4 Dead 2 and MW3 these days though I own much more games. I like all kinds of music, and I KIND of like to create music, but not in the usual sense like an actual instrument, I'm just messing around with programs like Magix Music Maker etc. I like building PC's, I hope to sell my own custom PC's at some point in my life.
What else can I say before I write my life story? I'm sure not many people care lol. I'm an ex party animal. Ah, one question I'm sure is why a FF forum? Besides me liking it... I've managed to alienate myself from the world around me after screwing my life up, and why not? I've always felt out of place when it comes to these RPG's @ home. None of my friends (well except a couple) has ever liked Final Fantasy
they've always made fun of me for liking these kinds of games. I've never had a chance to talk about these w/ anyone. Hope it's fun here, not sure how long I'll be around, but I hope it's as nice here as it seems.
Oh yeah, I guess as for favorite FF, it's between Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy V. Who knows maybe even FF6 after I go through it . Or maybe even XIII.
- PS , I talk too much sometimes. sorry, and hope to get to know some of you.
