Ah, trolling. For some it's a great annoyance, for others, a fun past time. I believe that at one point in their lives, most people can think of a time they trolled someone. Whether it's by prank, or by something you've done on the internet.
For example, I made a troll post in the spam section that I knew might upset some people. (And it did, which I do apologize for, I enjoy being childish at times.) I tried to troll a little bit longer, but quickly got bored, and I haven't posted in the spam section since.
However, I digress. Most of my trolling occurs in real life. I don't troll for the sake of trolling, I troll to see the kind of reaction that I can get out of different people. In other words, I'm a bastard, or an asshole if that makes you feel any better about it. Yet I just can't help it, the types of different reactions I get amaze me! The only type of pleasure that I can get out of people in general is the pleasure that I get from monitoring their responses from different situations.
(Which is why my major is Psychology.)
I'm actually working on a major essay for my college course about peoples reaction to different situations according to their upbringing/financial status/religion. It's a lot of work, yet I don't care because I'm intrigued.
Yet... I digress again.
The point of this post is to ask a few questions. The questions being: Have you ever trolled? Have you ever trolled on purpose? To see the reaction? Do you enjoy it? How often have you experienced "Trolls Remorse"?
Please post experiences you have had in trolling, or in being trolled. I'm very much interested in what everyone else has experienced.
If this needs to be moved, or deleted, please feel free to do so, as I'm not sure how people will take to this kind of discussion.
