So, I went to see Avatar this evening, great film, absoloutly loved it.
But,
When the adverts were on, an advertisement for Toy Story 3 came out!
I remember being a child and watching TS, anyone else interested?

I went to see Avatar too and saw the small trailer as well. Definitely interested in going since I loved both the films when I was younger! I kind of know what the plot's about, but I hope it's as good as everyone's making it out to be.

They didnt give much of the story out though...in fact they didnt give any. So my opinion is not yet placed.
Also, Shrek 4 is coming out too, and its the final one! That looks epic!

I'm sure it's about Andy going to college and what the toys are going to do next, that's all I could find when I heard it was coming out. But it might not even be that, although I'm sure it probably will be since he'll be older now that there's been a big time gap between the second and third film. :hmmm:

Yeah that makes a lot of sense.
i think they timed it really well, because it will appeal to the younger audience, but also to the people like me (that stll watch disney at 20 years old) who have seen it during its early release.
Should be really good.

Toy story 3 will be fun to see, I guess. I have outgrown toy story a lot, though. I may go see it just for nostalgic purposes, at least.

How can you outgrow a classic like TS?
As i stated previously, i have a strong feeling that it will be a mahoosive success due to the audience that they will attract.

Toy story what a great film, didn't like the 2nd one that much because of jessie and Pete they were missing more Slinky and Rex can remember being scared of that spider toy Sid had with the baby's head and the spiders legs horrible looking thing it was :gonk:

Right, a new trailer pretty much spells it out, andy does go to college, and the toys get donated to a preschool, and they basically try to get out and find a new place, and it is set for a release in in late march, or mid april, they had a pretty clear point of the story when i went to go see 1&3 in 3-d, so it might be good

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were both brilliant (the latter is one of the best sequels ever) - I really hope this one lives up to them. But if anyone can do it, Pixar can.

Toy Story was one of the best, if not the best animated films to date, whilst newer animations and getting better and some are very good, I don't think any of them have quite lived up to Toy Story other than, perhaps, Monsters Inc.

Can't wait to see this mind, it's bound to brilliant and hopefully it'll better Toy Story 2 which was one of few sequels that managed to live up to the first film. Can't wait. :D

The trailer has me excited, as if Avatar itself wasn't exciting enough. I'm really looking forward to Toy Story 3 because like everyone here, I loved the first and second films. I remember watching the second film when I was younger and some parts were rather touching.

Especially what Woody is told about Andy growing up. If Andy does go to college this movie, then Woody's and the others' worst fears have inevitably come true then. It should make an interesting storyline, especially if Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the gang are to be thrown away or something.

And yes- it's about time we get a threequel!

Haha i'm so pumped for this movie ^^ TS was like one of if not my favorite movie when I was younger I loved both movies so i'm excited to see what's coming up in third film If the TS2 was good, then ST3 i'm sure will be a great movie as well. ^^

A sequel thats 10 years away from its prequel, what a hiatus.

I loved 1 and 2 when I was small,I wanna watch the film to see how it is,it will bring back childhood memories for sure.I wonder if rex and potato head will still have the same voices from all those years!!!

The only voice actor changing I think is for Slinky, and that's because his previous voice actor Jim Varney has died since Toy Story 2 came out.

thats too bad

well its just 1 guy changing no big deal, lol the series still sounds kidish everytime when I look over it,it feels like when i always watched toy story 2.

Im defo going to see it. I remember my dad taking me to see the first film, totally awesome. My little cousin is obessed, so we're taking him to see Toy Story 2 in 3D on Thursday. The latest looks coolio, Pixar are brilliant.

Oh no :( Slinky was my fav cause of his rusty voice :( Im gutted, I never knew.

If anyone wants to see it, I found a trailer that's been out since October. When I went to see Avatar, they only showed the teaser trailer. Why not show this one? I'm quite looking forward to it now I've seen it. Slinky still kinda sounds the same, even though his voice actor is different.
