I've been wondering for a while if Yun Fang's design is suppose to have a more Indian influence to it. I look at her, and I keep thinking she's wearing a saree or something ;D

It is intended to be a traditional Indian Sari, with tribal accessories. She was a boy at first and later had been re-modeled to be a sexy female, and what with Square Enix wanting to appeal to Western fans perhaps this outfit was used to appeal to different cultures.
From the pictures, it looks like there's a lot of zips and straps going on, Snow and Lightning's outfit look quite similar when you look closely at it, so I guess different oufits make it appealing, so that could be another reason.

I love the last one, it just showcases their personalities perfectly.
The second one, is probably a big point in the game or before a boss battle xD
I really do hope they put the battle transitions in as seamlessly as FFXII's, and cutscenes into FMV's as they did in FFVIII.
As for the bellies, I think SE is being very mature about their designs, I mean compared to some characters who have impossibly proportioned bodies and breasts the size of human heads.
I think Yun Fang's outfit is brilliant. It's appealing, but not way over the top sexy. I hope these characters personas are as great as their designs. Except Snow's, he just seems like an asshole

The first image looks like the characters are slap bang right in a tense, conflicting situation. I love Lightning's facial expression and how she is brandishing the sword, as if to say: "You want to get to them, you have get past me first!".
The more I see Yun Fang, the more I think she is the best designed character in the game so far. I don't really care about the sex appeal, but she seems very capable and at the same time intimidating as well. Snow has the best expression here. He's cracking his knuckles and preparing to be the hero again and leap into battle. I do love him a lot now.

Oh I love these screenshots. The first one is really awesome and like always all of these are so damn HOT xD. I just can not wait for the damn ame to come out and ill be jealous to see some of my friends on Xbox live playing it
