I have the same exact problem!

I'm not sure why it does what it does, but sometimes, if you tell the computer to scan and rewrite, it sometimes works.

I always have to use my mother's Labtop to import, export and all that for my PSP.

It could be, and I'm not sure, the connection port on the PSP. That part could be broken or something. Maybe needs a clean?
