The Tale of the Forgotten - RP

As everyone left the room, Arthvader was about to head towards Lord Taharka. As he arrived, he noticed Vex asking Taharka about the situation.

'Is he asking the lord the same question I was asking earlier?'

He then went up to the two and wanted to ask a question.

Arthvader "Lord Taharka. Just as Vex want to know, I would also like to know why this was happening?

Taking his sword to his side walked up to Taharka, clutching his sword getting ready for a battle. He did not plan to reveal himself like this, but if it ment retreving the Earth gem and perhaps the other source that seemed to give of a gem energy, he would have no choice.

So saying in a low voice only Taharka could here, Vex strode up and spoke "Really your telling me you have no knowledge of my people. You hold in your possesion one maybe two of the Kailal gems, and have no true grasp of what you have. I find that hard to believe Taharka. If you are in such denial of these stones as you called them, I believe you indeed know of them and my people. So I ask of you now to give me that Earth gem which you have in your pocession."|

"...so we didn't wipe you all out... unfortunate. The only Kailal to remain are the keepers of the Gems - and YOU are not one of them. You would do well to crawl back into whatever hole you came from, vermin. That, or perish."

He threw down his robe, draping around his feet, and unclipped his sheathe from his belt with his left hand - grasping the hilt firmly with his right. Taharka leapt backwards to a sufficiently safe distance with what seemed to be very little physical movement.

"No grasp of what I hold? Allow me to enlighten you as to the true power these Gems offer!"

His Katana was unsheathed and held high, becoming engulfed in a flash of pale green as whirling blades of air circulated the elegant blade.

"So I was right along with the Earth gem you hold yet another one, the air if I am not mistaken. Well for whatever reason you are gathering them I can only take it that it is for no good. So allow me to take them from you."

Vex undid his cloak as well letting it drop down to the floor below. His sword at his right hand side, he slowly walked towards Taharka. "So you do not believe me of being Kailal do you. Then why is it that I hold the Holy gem of my people? Leon's master finally seems to be making his move again, I only come to stop him from doing what he wants. If you do not serve him as well explain how you know of my people?"

Not waiting for an answer Vex held out his sword, the metal could be seen as if melting away and perhaps swirling about. His sword began to lose it's form and only the hilt remained as of right now. Vex could only hope his sword would shift forms soon enough to continue this fight, if not he would have to think of some diffrent means to fight this man.

Zeria finally reached the room where she could sense 3 strong presences from. She grabbed the door handle and turned it, slowly pushing the door open.

"Julius?"

That's when she saw the two ready to fight...Vex and Lord Taharka. She was gripping her stomach wound with one arm, while supporting herself against the door frame with the other, wide-eyed. Maybe she'd come at a bad time...

Taharka raised his head, laughing maniacally with delight.

"You don't have a clue, do you? You may claim to understand the ancient Kailal and the Gems, but you know NOTHING of it."

He turned around, wheeling his sword from his left to right - forming a blast of pure concentrated air at the wall behind him - which shattered as the sheer force tore the wooden beams apart, reducing the entire face of the room to naught but splinters. Half-turning his body to face Vex, he leapt once again out of reach to the vast outdoors, flicking up small clouds of dust, rubble, wood, and mud to confound his adversary. He hung suspended just above the ground, arrogantly stationary.

"So please, show me what you know."

Vex grinned to himself, that flashy display of power and then retreating to the outside gave him the time for him to from his lance. His sword now gone a long slender lance now took its place seeming to fuse into the hilt. No sooner as he was about to follow Taharka he noticed Zeria.

"Zeria what are you doing here, I thought you be going somewhere to reover from your wounds?" Shaking his head he sighed and spoke again. "It doesnt matter, please stay here you are to injured to partake in this fight."

Rushing towards the window Vex pushed his lance down on the ground to give him some extra air. As he reached the window He shoved the tip of the lance to the ground and lept out the window. flying through the air he yelled towards Taharka "So what makes you think you know so much of the Kailal?

Landing behind Taharka from his jump Vex swings his lance towards him, hoping to hit him and attempting to send some dust his way to. Due to Taharka's earlier move of sending dust and mud his way he was not sure if his attack was directly on mark or not.

Seeing how Taharka has suddenly changed, Arthvader drew out his flaming swords, ready for battle.

Arthvader " Why you? what's your purpose? Why did you put both Julius and Zeria against each other? Why all this? For what you have done, Taharka, I'll make sure to defeat you. Here I come!"

And with those words, Arthvader charged towards Lord Taharka, swinging his swords left and right.

Damian had been waiting for some time now. What was taking them all so long to come out. Then all of a sudden he heard a loud blast just on the other side of the building.

'What is going on.'

He threw his guitar over his shoulder and began to run over. The guards that had been covering the front gate also took off in that direction, but with his speed and light atire he was able to pass their cumbersome forms.
By the time he reached the scene three men were caught in battle. Two of them were Vex and Arthvader. They were both attacking the third; a man who he did not know.
He had no idea who was at wrong for this battle so he did not attempt to intervene. He ran over to what was left in the room. There he saw Zeria leaning against a door frame. She was holding her stomach, and he could see blood dripping from her hand. He ran over to her to give her his aid.

"My lady you are alive. Please allow me to heal your wound before you bleed out."

He concentrated his will into his hand. It soon began to glow a dim white. A comforting warmth began to emit from its light.

"Please alow me to heal you. I just need to put my hand on your wound for a few moments."

Zeria looked at him, smiled, and nodded weakly. The pain was just too much to handle, and if there was a battle going on, she had to help.

"Please do...if you can get rid of this immense pain, then I shall be eternally grateful to you, Damian"

Her eyes were a dull, faded green color, and she winced again...blood began to drip to the floor. She was even beginning to feel faint again...

Damian place his hand on the wound. Red steam began to come from under his hand as the blood on the surface evaporated. He put more concentration into the healing. He could feel Zeria's wound begin to close. The muscles reconnecting, damaged parts regrowing. As the healing process continued, the light from his hand grew dimmer and dimmer as it entered into her body.
He could feel himself grow weary, but the wound was not yet completely healed. He had to continue. He put all his will into it, until finally his hand no longer held it's white glow.
Damian dropped to his hands and knees. He had to catch his breath. The healing had taken much out of him, but the wound was healed over and cleaned of any blood.

Taharka followed the clouded movement of Vex as he jumped over his head - utilizing what seemed to be a completely different weapon from what he initially saw. Drawing power from the Air Gem, Taharka created a powerful temporary shield of aerial blades - deflecting Vex's blind attack... and a frontal attack from the man named Arth. Taharka immediately retaliated to Arth's attack by forcing the wind around to rotate his body incredibly fast; lacerating the very atmosphere with his blade - his attack deflected Arth's left-handed weapon out of his hand. Using Arth's exposed body as a leaping pad, he planted both his feet on the man's chest and catapulted himself towards Vex with a flurry of strikes aimed at nowhere specific... his strikes boring through the very earth: catching the bits of ground in the heavy air-lift he had created before the battle commenced, which seemed to be concentrating itself rotating around Taharka's very body.

He had no time for words. As of now, his only concern was the dual ahead of him.

Zeria blinked a few times, then went down on her knees beside Damian, gently placing her hand on his shoulder.

"If it used up that much energy, you should have just left me. I don't want you to sacrifice your strength for me..."

Her smile was calm, but there was still a very empty look in her eyes. A look that said just how horrible she felt. There was still a big portion that she felt was missing from her heart....a part that felt lonely and secluded...outcast from everyone else...

Damians breaths were heavy and deep. He stayed on his hands and knees, not lifting his headas he gave Zeria his response.

"My lady," he said in a whispy voice. "For me, no sacrifice is too great if it is to help someone in need."

He paused for a moment to catch his breath. It was slowly becoming more steady and less forced.

"Though I do admit, I have never healed a wound such as that ever in my life. It felt as if it was more than just a wound of the flesh."

He looked up into Zeria's eyes. His face was full of horror from what he had felt.

"Who did this to you? Was it that man? Is this why Vex an Arthvader are attacking that man?"

Zeria quickly looked away, bowing her head so her hair fell in front of her face.

"It's nothing...I just realized the truth. That I lost someone near and dear to me...hurt him pretty badly......and don't worry about Arth and Vex. They're fighting Lord Taharka, whom I also have great suspicions towards. I don't think his means are for helping Julius at all"

"So we sit and wait."

Zeria's response calmed him a little, but he was still concerned about her. He was worried that her scar was more than just skin deep. She might have seemed fine physically, but something inside her was torn apart. Something that not even his magic could heal.

Damian leaned back and sat up.He still had no strength to stand, so all he could do for now was watch as the battle raged on. The man who Zeria had called Lord Taharka was amazing in the way he handled his two opponents. And though Vex and Arth fought together, Damian realized that they might not win this battle.

Vex could do nothin but try to dodge the strikes that Taharka was attempting to land on him. He countered with his lance what he could from the blade strikes, but the bits of ground that the blade pierced through hit Vex. He cringed a little at the slight stinging sentation, as it happened over and over, with each piece feeling like a needle pierceing his skin. Leaving himself open Vex trust forward with his lance at Taharka's left side, then using the force of his lance he pushed into his side swinging himself around Taharka. Going with the flow of his movement's he quickly brought his lance to his side again and brought down his lance on Taharka's arm that carried his blade in hopes of causing him to drop it.

(assuming that my character follows Taharka everywhere.....by the way sorry for being inactive...had some issues with the pc)

Lost in his own thoughts, Julius remained silent as he witnessed the fierce battle before him. Little he knew that all of these people belonged to a past filled with pain and suffering. For some unknown reason, he felt inexplicably drawn to unsheath his blade. Some distance away from him was Zeria, whose beautiful eyes drew Julius' attention. Out of the sudden, as if he were released from her eyes' enchantment, Julius was brought back to reality, his first vision was that of his new master fighting against two warriors, one was Arthvader and the other's identity was unknown.

"Lord Taharka!!! If my blade can assist my lord, let it be known! At your command I shall strike your enemies down with the iron fist of justice!!!"

Julius slowly walked towards the battlefield as he unsheathed his blade and aimed it to them. The sounds of his boots stepping the ground were followed by the sounds of his armor and chain mail as he moved.

"You, who dare to defy my lord...prepare to have a taste of my sword's cold steel!"

He fixed his eyes on Taharka and, with a serious tone on his voice, asked for his master's commands. "Lord Taharka, your soldier awaits for commands."

The instant Julius drew his blade, Zeria got up and darted across the room in front of him, drawing both of her own.

"No...if you want to fight, fight me...I won't have you harming Arth, who was once your comrade, just as I was....."

She held back tears and gripped the blades tightly, her eyes flashing at a hint of crimson. She was so close and on the verge of losing it, it worried her, but now was not a time to get lost in thought. If she had to fight Julius again, she would do it, no matter the damage it did to her not only physically....but mentally as well...

"Stand down!" her voice rang out, stern and determined. "Stand down, or draw your blade to me once more!"

As Julius prepared to attack, Arthvader noticed Zeria going in front of Julius. knowing Zeria's condition, and the fact that Vex is currently dealing with Taharka, he stood behind Zeria.

Arthvader "ZERIA!! You better stand down. Leave this to me. I mean it!!"

Arthvader then moved Zeria to the side, knowing that she would get harmed if she were to fight Julius again. focused at Julius, Arthvader took out his flaming swords, ready for battle.

Arthvader "Julius, your fight will be with me. Let's leave Zeria out of this. I don't want her to see this. En guard."
