The Tale of the Forgotten - RP

Vex smiled to himself "Well it seems as if that caught his attention, now to see if everything else will go as planned." Takin his leave from the room as that neither Artander or Zeria were taking to answer his questions he strolled out of the room. So now following Juluis and this Lord Taharka Vex went into the training room.

"Fair enough."

Kaos caught the blade with his, then swung forward with his free arm to hit her in the head with his fist. A very odd move, but it was intended to distract her. He whipped his sword back from the stopped blade, and stabbed at her, about as half as slow as usual. He knew his sword would just go straight through her if he put too much force into it, and he really had no intention of murder... Today, at least.

As he saw Lord Taharka, Julius, and Vex leaving, Arthvader quickly followed them. He wanted to ask Taharka about joining his troops.

Arthvader "Lord Taharka, I have one more question to ask as well. I was wondering if both Zeria and I may join you as well? As you can see, I have the experience to help out anyone who's in need. If you need proof, then put me through a trial. I'll be more than ready to assist you."

Zeria snapped back to reality and looked at him as well.

"Yes. I will gladly take on any challenge you would put me through. I will not leave Sir Julius' side. I swore an oath to him....I will NOT break it"

Her pose was determined. There was no way she was letting Julius out of her sight again. She lost him once, she wasn't going to let it happen again. She bowed formally to Lord Taharka.

"Sir, I would do anything you bid me to, as long as it doesn't interfere with what Sir Julius orders me"

Zeria didn't stop bowing. It was kind of a habit. She would bow until told to rise.

OOC:I think I'm going to use orange for all speech now. Might help.

IC: Taharka continued forward - seemingly ignoring the two unwelcome followers - within the least elegant section of his manor; the worn marble room-turned training arena. The walls were littered with confiscated weaponry, and armaments which already donned the walls before the others were poorly fixated to the beautiful wooden walls.

"This:" he announced - extending his arms outwards opposing eachother, "is my training room. Not used personally since my youth, but the guards see fit to utilize this excessive room for practice." He turned his head to Arth and Vex;

"You will find rather well grafted wooden armchairs near the window. Sit in them." Similar orders were not issued to Julius and Zeria, as he had slightly less accommodating requests of them.

"You sir, will withdraw your weapon of choice - either from belt or wall, you are free to decide. Similarly, I request that you" he glanced at Zeria "stand in the middle of the room to engage your adversary."

He stole over the grandest of chairs - also wrought of marble - and sat in it whilst staring intently at both Julius and Zeria. "Your first task, Julius, is to engage in combat with someone who may be reluctant. Her life is of little concern to me, so do what you will with it." Taharka grinned slightly as he beheld the horror upon Zeria's face, and upon the blankness of Julius'.

"I would have you waste no time. Begin with immediate effect."

OOC: I think we've spent too long in the manor. But this is all I could come up with right now. xD Just excuse the lack of excitement in my post.

Zeria froze. This couldn't be happening! Fight Julius, just after she found him alive and well again?! That was insanity!

"But I..."

She stopped herself. If she wanted to remain with Julius, she'd have to obey the orders.

"Fine...but I won't just sit here like a training dummy and let him attack me. I'm going to use this as an opportunity to bring his memories back"

She drew her blades and crossed them in front of her.

"Forgive me for any harm I bring you, Julius, but it must be done. I will cherish this as an honorable fight"

As the battle between Zeria and Julius began, Arthvader started asking Vex several questions.

Arthvader "It's been a while now, Vex. What happened during the time both Zeria and I were out cold? Where did Leon and Shenorai went off too? Is that Golem still on the loose? and one more thing, Why did you come here?"

(OOC: Arth, in this case of this RP Vex does not knpw you)

Ic : "To your first question Arthander, it appears why you two were unconsius someone took the Earth gem, so that might mean they may have killed Leon. This is a fact alone that scares me as it would take a being of immense power to do so. As for Shenorai I do not know what has happened to her." He then speaks in a lower voice as if he was running out of breath, "She was not around when I disposed of the golem, with the Earth gem absense from it's pressence it was no longer able to fully draw upon it's power to constantly regenerate itself." Now taking a deep breath and talking once again normally. "As to why I am here, I've come to have some questions that hopefully our gracious host can answer. Now for the mean time let us sit back and watch this spectable no matter how much we may not like it. There must be a reason as to why he is doing this."

Vex sits back in his chair only to lean slightly forward his hands clasped together, with his elbows resting on his knees and his chin on his hands. He seemed now to take on a deep thought as he watched this battle begin to take place.

Julius calmly accepted his first task, he reached the handle of his weapon with his right hand and unsheathed his deadly rapier, quickly aiming it to Zeria. The young knight grinned, his right arm extended and wielding his sword against someone who was supposed to be an ally. Julius' lips slowly began to open, a brief phrase in a seemingly arrogant yet gentle tone came out from his mouth. -"Raise your sight and look upon my eyes. Face me with courage or turn and flee...for even the bravest have a chance to escape to live and fight another day..."-Julius then stepped back, his blade still aiming to Zeria and his eyes fixed on her.-"On guard!!"- With a swift bent of his knees, Julius propelled himself towards Zeria, bringing his rapier to his left and subsequently swinging in a diagonal arc to the right, aiming to Zeria's torso.

Zeria performed a sidesweep and ducked, sliding away and narrowly missing his blade.

"Even though you've lost your memory, you still fight as elegantly as ever...I'm glad to know that not all of you is lost. But I will not back down...that's something you taught me back at the academy"

She then ran at Julius, ripping her blades in the familiar "X" formation.

"CROSS SLASH!"

If it hit Julius, he would be scarred for life, always to be marked by her blade.......

As Zeria's crossed blades were drawn closer to Julius by the inevitable tides of Fate, the young knight engulfed in a ravenous storm of determination, stepped forward and brought his blade to the right and then swung it fiercely upwardly from below, hitting the center "X" wave attack and splitting it in halves. Zeria's attack was completely deflected with a mere swing of a sword. With swiftness, Julius ran towards Zeria, his eyes eternally fixed on hers. A battle of two souls, two hearts separated by time, space and lost memories inexplicably drawn together like two colliding rivers. Over and over, over and over, their feelings kept arousing as if they were destined to meet in battle, over and over again. And then sounds were lost in the battle, only the sound of his heart beating could be felt echoing within his ears. Moments before being caught by Zeria's blade, Julius made a sudden stop, bent his knees and seconds before being hit, he leaped to the left, his feet landing on the wall. In a fraction of seconds, Julius' feet propelled him towards Zeria. Then....
"These memories....Cross Slash!!"

Julius' own version of cross slash. Instead of using two blades, he swung his sword at a blinding speed and swung it from left to right and then from right to left, diagonally, creating a "X" shaped energy wave that was sent hurling towards Zeria.

Zeria was taken a bit by surprise at the sudden copy of her own attack...it was a good thing she knew how to dodge. She leapt to do a simple flip over it, but her knees gave out at the last second, still weary from the energy blast she'd unleashed earlier. She was hit by Julius' cross slash and flew back a few feet, blood beginning to drip down her torso.

"Damnit....I've never known anyone to do that before, but it's to be expected from the man who taught me a lot of my fighting skills...ugh!"

She fell to one knee, drawing her Punisher in front of her as a guard. Zeria then leapt upwards into the air and launched 7 consecutive Cross Slashes at him. Following that attack, she shot forth in a blur at almost her top speed, swinging one blade downwards at Julius' left arm, while sheathing her other blade and bringing her fist down for a bone-breaking punch.

To each coming blow Julius used his sword swiftly to deflect every single attack, though with much difficulty. After soon noticing Zeria's next movement, he dodged her fist by mere inches. "Give up now..." Julius leaped high into the air and found himself above Zeria. In mid air he swung his blade from left to right in a downward arc and aimed to Zeria's head.

Zeria jerked away and narrowly missed having her head split open."I'm not giving up! Not until you remember!"At that, she launched a series of kunai and shuriken back at him, twisting her body to a simple curve and backflipping over behind Julius. She aimed one blade at his throat and the other at his left shoulder."Don't make me use my mage skills...I don't use them often, you know that. And I don't like using them, you give up. I want you to remember, Sir Julius...remember all of the battles we fought....and remember this greiver necklace you gave me, as well as this Punisher gunblade now aimed at your throat...."

Julius might have forgotten his past, but there was one thing he could remember: his pride. Skillfully he parried the countless kunais and shurikens sent hurling towards them, the throwing weapons ending up piercing random parts of the walls. As he dashed forward, eluding most of Zeria's attacks and parrying others. "Your power....you don't know me yet....don't underestimate me!!!" Julius blade was suddenly engulfed with fiery flames as he lunged his blade to Zeria's left shoulder, the light shining within Julius' eyes was similar to the same light shown within Lucius's eyes.

Zeria gasped and tried to move away, but was caught across the shoulder, leaving a bleeding gash. She cried out, then noticed his eyes.

"Oh no.....not again...!"

She summoned up her strength and prepared for a move she'd never wanted to use on him. It was the one that would cause him to relive all of his past memories...hopefully a few of her...but it might break him. Zeria was reluctant to use it.

"Julius...please forgive me. I told you I'd never use this on you, but that light in your eyes is not yours. It's too much like Lucious'....I'm sorry....SHATTERED MEMORY!"

Taharka beheld the portended events with both amusement and intrigue, as the two fought viciously - beholding an attack from Zeria, Taharka shouted "enough!", simultaneously with a flick of his hand, he hurtled Zeria backwards towards the doors rather forcefully, blasting her spine against the rigid artwork of the frame. His exertion of power being far too unexpected for the target to acknowledge in time.

Could they know what I am? What I fight for...?

"Julius, you have fought enough. As a warrior, you have shown what was once your greatness. Together, we can work towards greater goals."
Taharka held out his oxygenated right hand, extended for Julius to take it as a binding of allegiance; securing their alliance.

"I can help you regain what was lost."

OOC: It seems that myself and Zeria posted too close to one other. xD

As he was struck by the spell, Julius was pushed a few meters away from Zeria, but the young knight was strong enough to remain standing on his feet. The memories that once came to his troubled mind seemed to disappear once again, with them pieces of the memories he had about Zeria. He brought his left hand to his face and leaned his cheek on the palm of his hand. Julius soon aimed his sword to Zeria, a new developed rage was seen within his eyes. "You witch...demon from the abyss...."

Julius readied his sword, with two quick steps he drew himself closer to Zeria. Now his opponent was within sword's range and with a mere swing, from above in a downward arc, Julius intended to disarm Zeria by striking the handle of her sword. Suddenly his sword halted, Julius stopped his attacks after hearing Taharka's commands. "Yes my lord..."

Zeria's impact against the doors had been painful, so painful in fact, that she'd cried out loudly and slunk to the floor, bleeding badly. She coughed up blood and looked at Julius, tears welling in her eyes.

"Please don't...don't do it....ugh!"

She tried to get up, but fell to the floor again, coughing and clutching the wounds on her body. She found it hard to speak as well, as she tried to remain conscious.

"Sir Julius...is this really, what you want...?"

Julius aimed his sword to his now helpless foe, Zeria who lied defeated at his mercy. Suddenly he withdrew his blade and sheathed it. "I had expected much more from you....you can't be her...." With a disappointed tone in his voice, Julius turned his back on Zeria and walked away from her.
