I was suprised to not see this here so i thought id throw it up. Anybody else love this show!! I used to watch it every day during weekends at 11am and watch Bob Barker do his magic. It was fun cause id be like "No not that one!! Its the Living Room set! Not the Fridge!"

Im really quite sad to see Bob Barker go, because im not a big fan of Drew Carey. Theres no way that he is as good as Bob Barker, or ever will be, sorry to say.
 
I think we had Bruce Forsyth doing that o_O Can't really remember though
 
You havent seen a Price is Right til you have seen Bob Barker do it :monster: I used to watch this all the time with my Grandparents and they would get right into it :P
 
I didn't make a point of watching this show, but I saw it a few times.

I make a point of avoiding it now that Drew Carey is the host.
 
I remember The Price is Right.... I used to watch it, but I haven't seen it in a long time.
 
Drew Carey just makes the show fail now. I dont know why Bob Barker choose him to take over but i think there were alot of others that could do better. Its just not the same when the people wear shirts saying "We Love Drew Carey". Bob ownz u all :wacky:
 
Ah, memories. Yeah, used to watch this show too but only because my grandpa watched it a lot back then. It was interesting enough, I suppose.
 
Rosie O'donald would make the show fail even worse the Drew Carey did. Plus shes too busy on The View :monster: She wouldnt pass that up for anything, she can blab about random stuff there.
 
she got kicked out of the view last year for fighting with another host. lol
At the time she got axed they gave her the idea of being the host of the price is right.
Drew or rosie can;t replace Bob. He was such a sweet old man lol
 
Oh, see i dont watch the View or the news really that much.

What was your favourite game on the show?

Mine would be Plinko. It owns. I would love to do it cause its really quite random in the chances to win. But it seems you can win lots on it.
 
My mom always swore she was going to do everything she could to get me on the show because I watched it so religeously as a kid that I had prices of just about everything nailed. Obviously it didn't work out but whatever.....

Drew Carey is abysmal - he doesn't even pretend to like what he's doing......It's like Pat Sajak without the lousy sarcasm and groping of young, female contestents.
 
I loved the show when I was a kid. It used to be a family tradition that we'd sit around and watch it together. Oh, I miss those days. Brucie was such a brilliant host as well.
 
I've watched the show religiously as a child, and if there's nothing on when I'm at home at 10am, I still watch it. :monster: my favourite game would have to be Cliff Hangers. =D I love that little yodeling guy. :3

Also I don't see the biff with Drew. But maybe because I loved him on Whose Line, and his show. -shrug- He does pretty good I think.

After watching the show for so many years, I plan on going on and seeing it Live. :3
 
I loved watching The Price is Right in years past, when Bob Barker hosted it, he was just classic, he was a great game show host and made it a lot of fun.

Drew Carey however, to me he's just some schlub with no good personality and instead of getting a laugh out of something with a contestant like Bob, he makes fun of the contestant, which just isn't classy.

And he calls Cliffhangers the Yodelly-guy game... >.>' And in that One Away game, that "Oh might sound effects lady" crap is just ridiculous. xP It isn't half as fun as when Bob Barker hosted it.

And something else; if someone goes to fall when spinning the big wheel, Drew just watches them fall, where Bob would try to catch them, help them up, and sometimes ask if the person would like his help to spin it, he's just a better host and a more considerate person, far more likable too.

Well... It is a Yodelly-Guy Game.. I think a lot of people refer to it as such. And tbf, Bob did the Mighty Sound Effects Lady thing as well.

I like Drew. =/
 
Different strokes for different folks, aye. >.> They also don't play a lot of the games anymore, probably because he can't figure out how they work to describe what the contestant needs to do in the games.

Note that the simplest games are one of his favorite games. xD

I also loved Golden Road because they'd always give away a bad ass car like a Porsche or a Corvette.
 
I used to watch PIR every single day. Good times. I love most of the games, but if I were in it I'd definitely want Plinko (best change of winning a good amount of money). Plus, it's a classic game:)

I miss Bob Barker. I like Drew, but he's not Bob.
