This rp is moving fast actually, there was a whole new page in it when I went to bed and school then came back, it's great, but I have a big post then...gotta include ll three, this may be a while...I'll probably post in other rp's first actually
Yeah, I have to post in any other RPs first, posts in The Nine Worlds take pretty near the rest of my session online. X_x It takes me too long to think.
Gotchya, but mind my time, I have a meeting to go to, so I will edit her part in my post later, and when I do I will post it in here that I have edited. It may be tonight, if not, the first thing tomorrow after school. I have left an OOC for other info. I will appropriately adapt the post, is this ok?
@ Leader: Well, Valkyries are often referred to as sisters (or in any case, all the sources ive read of). I dont think its in a literal sense, but in this case, might as well. it'll be fun.
@Cerberus: Ashe calls you Lord as in Viking mytho, The God of thunderer, (which should be thor, but meh), is a higher ranking god than an Einherjar.

Name: Pierre "Bones" Chretien (KRET-ee-en)

Appearance:
Bones stands around 6' tall and is on the slender side at 145 pounds. The front half of his hair is blonde and short. The black half consists of long, thin, black braids. Because of this separation, and because he is a man of African heritage, many think the blonde part has been dyed. It has not. His face is attractive, with a square jaw decorated by a well-maintained, close beard.
His clothing is surprisingly upscale, considering his lifestyle. He wears a pair of dark blue tailored pants and a white silk shirt with a brown vest that has an intricate design on it. Over all of this, he wears a black leather duster. His shoes are Italian leather. With him at all times is his walking stick.
Personality: Bones doesn't talk often, but when he does, it tends to come out in bunches. He is very deliberate in his actions, but once he sets his mind upon a certain course, little can be done to change his mind. Because of his ability to see the future, he has very little, if any, emotional reaction to any outcome; he most likely has already seen the consequences of every action. As such, he rarely becomes close to anyone, preferring to keep everyone at a distance so he is not overburdened with the sight of their possible actions.
Weapons: His walking stick normally is four feet in length. But in battle, Bones can extend it to 8 feet in length, and uses it similar to a bo staff. The cap of the stick (A pair of dice in design) can also be removed from the staff to reveal an eight inch long blade. Only one of these weapons can be used at any given time. The blade cannot be accessed if the staff is elongated.
Bones is a highly agile fighter, though not very physically strong. He uses his abilities as a seer to predict where his opponent will strike and how they will move, then acts to counter that particular attack.
Abilities: Premonition - Bones concentrates for a split second and peers into the very near future. At that point he sees multiple angles of attack, and for each angle of attack, he sends a simulacrum of himself in that direction. The simulacra will attack the enemy, but are not capable of causing damage. Only Bones can actually inflict damage on the enemy. This ability is used as a distraction and to disconcert the enemy. One simulacrum would have a very minor energy drain. Five would be minor to moderate, and ten would be moderate.
Weaknesses: Psychic energies of any form disrupt his abilities as a seer. Not an overly strong fighter, he relies on speed, thus heavy hitters can be a problem, as are those who can outlast him. His stamina is not spectacular. His defense against magic is average.
History: Pierre Chretien grew up in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. He had a rough childhood. His alcoholic father was mostly absent, and was abusive while present. His mother worked multiple menial jobs to make ends meet. His two older brothers succumbed to the gangs that riddled the streets; both ended up in Parkwood Cemetery before Pierre turned 16 years of age.
About that time, Pierre began gambling. He was given the nickname "Bones" by one of the older folks he rolled dice with. It started small, rolling dice in the alley with the neighborhood men, or playing poker after dark in the back room of an auto repair shop. Pierre was good. Preternaturally good. It was not uncommon for Pierre to walk away with nearly $1000 in cash. He realized that he could see the outcomes of the games before they were even played. There was no element of luck for him. In fact, he controlled the games. Over time, he began to understand that it was in his best interest to throw hands here and there, sometimes every hand he saw through the course of a night, in order not to arouse the suspicions of those he was playing with.
Eventually, Bones took his game to the casinos. He cleaned house, earning him hundreds of thousands of dollars, virtually overnight. The less reputable of the casino owners made his life miserable, physically assaulting him on several occasions, even at one point trashing his mother's house. At that point, he gave away every last cent he had to his name, and moved to New York, where he lived an essentially homeless lifestyle. He could still see flashes of future events here and there, but it was severely limited to himself and the very near future. No more than an hour or two in advance. He used his ability to his advantage, keeping himself safe on the streets.
All that changed with the coming of the Pure Ones, however. As they drew near, the limitations on his abilities ceased to exist. He could see infinite possibilities for anyone he knew for several days in advance. Including himself. It was his gift, and his curse.
Just in case you wonder why she seems like such a fighter, im going for the contrasting nature and magic thing. She always fights, so it'll be a big change and obstacle for her to change and start healing people.

The White Mage
Name: Lindt Rucha
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Human Appearance: Lindt is about 159cm tall, kind of average for a girl and is about 52 kgs in weight. Her hair is a lighter shade of blonde and when untied, is extremely long, possiby down to the back of her knees and always seem very puffy. However, she ties it up in two high pigtails, raising her hair up to her higher waist. By doing so, her pigtails are also puffy and big.
Her face completely contradicts her personality and her hobbies. It is very girly and delicate looking, something most guys with a slight lolicon would go after. Large eyes with in a hypnotising deep purple, pale complexion and thin arching eyebrows, everything screams prissy teen princess, but her hobbies and her nature had turned her pretty strong underneath despite her appearance.
More in sync with her personality is her choice of clothings. To put it simply, it is steampunk mechanic style. On her head is a slightly-too-big, baker's boy hat, with a pair of gold coloured welding/science goggles resting above the eye cover of the hat. On her body, she has a white, suit shirt which appears a bit too short, revealing her stomach a slight bit, with the sleeves rolled to her elbow and the top three buttons undone. On top is a black, pinstripe vest. On her hands are two different gloves. The one on her right is more a gauntlet, reaching halfway up her forearm, but remains fingerless. It has metal reinforced leather plating along the top all the way down to below the knuckles while there are metal caps on each knuckle. On her left is a black cloth glove. Lindt's lower half consists of a baggy, loose brown pants which the touches the ground and covers her shoes and these shoes are half shin black converses that are only half tied up, leaving the top opened up. Around her waist is a short, white sarong type of cloth and a large leather waist pack that hangs on the back of her waist. The only accessories that aren't unisex is her choker, and her pair of diamond hoop earring.
Personality: Lindt is as close to a boy as she can get. A bit rough around the edge, reckless yet ingenious and bold. She epitomizes a youthful twelve year old boy without turning into bratty or unlikable, nor seem totally immature. Lindt priortises her hobby and joy usually, but she still has the mind of a 21 year old, capable of very mature thinking and logic when the situation is right. In a nutshell, she is a bit rough, blunt and a bit quick to anger, but easy going enough.
The other side of her is her scientist side. When she gets technical and in her zone of trying to work something out that is crucial, she becomes rather snappy and impatient. She loses any childish veneer showing her serious side. If its something that just pique her interest, then this does not occur.
Her more cheerful and out going exterior is a true part of herself, but it is also a cover for her loneliness. Her dwindling family relations, her mother's death and her fathers long work time has left Lindt a sad lonely child. Not wanting to worry her father, she portrays her happy side always, making him believe that she is having mischevious fun, when in fact, she has rather deep emotional scars which she hides.
Weapons: Her main weapon is her 30" pipe wrenchwhich she slings onto the bottom of her waist pack. It is something she got from her father that introduced her to the world of mechanic and engineering. It is of very high quality and very hardy, making it a very good physical weapon (It is also at the right length to be a short staff for magic XD).
Right now, she holds her grandfathers old WWII weapons, a M1 Garand and its bayonet andhis old Colt M1911A1. Old, but still good weapons.
Abilities:Regeneration: Its name is what it is. This ability enables Lindt to regenerate the damage cells in wounds that have been inflicted on a person as well as "cure" any "status ailments". The degree she can regenerate is proportional to how hard she can concentrate. Only thankfully to her strong mental mind that she is not destroyed by her own abilities, but at most, she can regenerate moderate sword and magic wounds plus organ damage normally and have a low-moderate energy drain. Heavy wounds and severe organ damage will draw moderate-high energy drain. At this point, limb regeneration is impossible, but may be at a later point for extremely heavy energy drain.
Weaknesses: The lack of a large range of ranged attacks is a distinct disadvantage for Lindt. She only has a handful of abilities which she can use for ranged combat. Also, even though she is tough for human standard, she is still relatively weak in comparison to the more physical class of the Heroes and would not be able to stick it out like them, but have to rely on tactics and her surroundings.
History: Should anyone be blamed for her tomboyish upbringing, it would be Lindt's father, Henderson Rucha. Due to the early death of her mother, Henderson raised her while working. His job was that of an engineer, and had a very heavy work load. Thus, little Lindt spent all her time in his workspace. The lack of feminine influence caused her to become how she is today and the exposure to her father's work turned her into the same path of her father, taking interest in science, mechanics and engineering.
Her tomboy nature brought on some opposition amongst the boys in the poorer parts of Manhattan, where she lived. Often, she stood up to the boys for her friends due to her quick temper and gotten into so many fights that the teachers also begin to think if she has a female bone in her. It didnt affect Lindt. She somewhat enjoyed fighting, feeling the thrill of challenging herself. This was how she grew up straight through to now. Even in University, she continued to trash up other boys in fights and still had the tomboy logo stuck to her.
Life seemed to destine to follow this path, and spiral into a normal path of getting a job and sustaining herself, and her meagre remaining families. She had let herself go on anything extraordinary in her life and was happy to get swept along with the tide of human life when this option disappeared with the appearance of the Pure Ones.
Coming back from the workshop where she had worked and on her way towards her grandfathers place, news alert across the radios told of chaos all over the city. Mysterious people was causing terror attacks in New York, killing hundreds with many others going crazy, looting and succumbing to rioting and senselessness. Fear gripped her stomach when the reporter told of the areas being razed was where her grandfather lived and where her fathers workshop was. Getting off the bus, which has stopped, Lindt sprinted to where her grandfather lived and busted in.
All was quiet, but the house was trashed. The radio was on upstairs and with dread, approached the upstairs corridor. There he laid on the floor, with two bullets in his chest. Doors swung open and Lindt went in to check for the intruders. Her grandfathers room ws untouched, but then, noise came from downstairs. The looters had came back. With rage, Lindt grabbed her grandfathers WWII weapon from their stand and rushed down. It was brutal. lindt had forgotten to load them and ended up clubbing all three looters to death. When all was finished, Lindt had no time to grief. She had to find her father, whose area was worst affected. Grabbing as much as she could from her grandfathers gun locker, she gave him a final kiss on the cheek, pulled him to his bed and placed a small bunch of table flowers next to him. She had a feeling she wouldn;t be back. When finished, she dropped down the stairs and ran towards the inner manhattan area.
