Part 1: Well I was on the way to school going to my bus and there were crazy drivers on crack or something. Ok here is the story. There was a lady waiting to turn and I was crossing the road when all of a sudden the car is a millemeter away from me. I scream stop and she stopped in shock seeing as she could have hit me. Oh and she was going really fast!!! I was scared as hell. Part 2: Okay basically I was walking on the street when 2 cars cut infront of eachother. They stopped right infront of me. So?

So I'm assuming this is a topic in which we are to post of any situation where we have almost died?

In that case, I had a similar situation as yours. I was crossing a wide street on my way to school and there were no cross-walk in sight. So I crossed the street and walked as fast as I could. Well, there was a slight curve on my right and I saw a car speeding, and almost hit me. I was literally a few inches from being hit and I could smell the break tires. Scared the shit out of me, but I felt stupid too. The driver didn't say anything, which was fine. At that point, I just couldn't wait to get off the street.

I've had a few near-miss situations involving cars recently, I seem to be a magnet for it. Like last month I walked across a few roads on my way to town and 3 cars, in turn nearly ran me down. They got well rude too when THEY were the ones speeding into the corners... Idiots -__-

There's been plenty of times where I've almost been hit by a car/van, especially on Friday nights. For instance, on St Patrick's Day, I came out of the pub and crossed the road when a van had to stop right in front of me. He shouted 'Get out of the fucking road, twat', and I was like olol.
I almost fell off a cliff once in Portugal, and I had a nasty turn in quicksand. (although that wasn't really life-threatening)

Yeah Speeding cars these days scare me. Dont laugh at me but even now im kinda scared to cross streets to go to school. One day if im not careful Im gonna die. Oh and if a drivers drunk thats going to be bad....

Ya, no matter how alert you are, drivers can be unpredictable sometimes. I wouldn't say i'm scared of vehicles but for a while I became really awkward if I was in a car doing 70MPH+

getting hit by a car that's making a turn at a light isn't going to kill you, but it might break a bone or fuck up your elbows or knees :monster:

I think probably the closest thing related to almost dying that's happen to me is getting hit by a car. I shoulda strangled that crazy bitch for trying to sue me when she was one of the dumb fucks that pay more attention to their cell phone than the road :elmo:

I busted my knee up a little bit and at least busted her fucking headlight with my knee, that coniving bitch. I got to get out of school for a week and had to put special ointment on my kneecap and all the way down the left side of my left leg's calf. I also got this freezy spray stuff, it was the shit

Just remember, you're not safe, even in a grocery store's parking lot. you can still get shot by terrorists, kidnapped by pedophiles, or... get hit by retards that pay more attention to their phone than the road. :awesome:

I'm fucking CERTAIN there was already a similar thread, I even scoured half of fucking costa :grumpy:

Anyway, Ive had afew scrapes, I almost drowned when I was in Spain, fell in the swimming pool and next thing I know Im face down in the water being plucked out by some lovely woman with freckles. I also got lost on that holiday...or the year after...they had the Spanish police looking for me for hours :gasp:

Erm, I suppose falling off that house could have done some damage, but that doesn't really count I don't think...

Although I had a few bad experiences when I had my Scooter...D:

Fukcing inconsiderate WANKERS not checking their MIRRORS when they change lane could result in a dead Kelly. The was a stupid cow who pulled into my lane out of the blue - then went back into her own...emergency stops on 2 wheels are NOT fun

The worst was when *I* was about to change lane though D: I was just on the white line about ready to be in the lane I needed, I even did my final check, nothing was coming, then out of the fucking BLUE, some CUNT flew past me at about 80 mph. It made my bike wobble he was that close. I absolutely shat myself, I was shaking from head to toe when I got off and I was ike nowai am I getting back on it....although I did the next day, I needed to go to work and there was no way I was getting the bus

It didnt half put the frightners on me though. We were both speeding so had he even so much as clipped me, there would have been nothing left of me :gasp:

Also, I got lost once up in the hills for about 2 hours, I guess that could have been near death...wild dogs might of eaten me.......

It takes 24m for a car going at any decent speed (enough to kill you) to stop. :wacky:

Anyhow, I've only had two, once when we were going 70mph and someone was overtaking on a blind bend on the wrong side of the road (our side) so we both had to swerve and we ended up clipping wing mirrors at 70mph. The other was on the motorway when a car crashed about 5 cars back, that's not really "near death" but it does put that "coulda have been me" thought into your mind >.>

Ive had one close encounter to my knowledge. It was 2 years back id estimate and it was winter time. I was leaving my friends house and heading home. On my way to the bus stop i have to cross 2 dual carriage ways then another smaller but busy road. I got across the dual carriage ways no problem. See after crossing the dual carrage way theres a small but reasonably steep slope which leads onto the smaller road, only 4 feet high at best really..Now of course theres a small path built to the right which takes you down the slope without you having to worry about falling.
I decided however not to use it and went down the slope without looking to see if there was traffic coming. And it being Winter the ground was slippery and as soon as i stepped on it i fell forward and hit the side of a bus which was moving at 40 mph easy.
Now i was in no way hurt at all, the bus prevented me from falling on the road, but it shocked me because i knew that had it only been a few seconds earlier i would have fallen in front of that bus and not hit the side. Scary stuff.

I've been hit by cars on several occasions, walking, running, biking...haha. The one time I almost died from a car related accident was while tailgating during a football game. I was fairly young, like 7 or 8, and playing catch with my dad and some of his friends. I made a diving catch and rolled under the wheel of a car as it was backing up. My head was pinned under the wheel, but the driver stopped before he ran over my head and pulled forward. I guess I caught a break there. Heh

Well I've had many near misses with cars, since they speed around corners and don't pay attention to traffic lights and stuff and I have a lovely short attention span and crap that will one day get me killed.

Nearly had a head-on collision with a truck a couple of years ago, that scared the crap out of me. Nearly drowned when I was younger because I got sucked under a wave and couldn't get back above water.

To be honest there aren't really that many near death events that stick in my mind... apart from a few times when I've crossed the road and then a car comes speeding around the corner and nearly hits me. Oh and there have been a couple of awful times when I'm crossing a busy road and my shoe comes off, and then there's that moment of panic where you think 'Do I go back and get it or just keep crossing?!' but in the end I always go back to get it. <_< Which is quite silly when you think about it, if you lose your shoe you can just get another one, but if you get hit by a car and die, well... that's it. D:

One day if im not careful Im gonna die.
Much like everyone else then. :wacky:

I've been close to dieing a few times actually. My first time i almost got killed was when i was just a young kid.. around 6 or 7. I was getting swimming lessons at the local YMCA. There was about 10 kids or so in the class.. one instructor. Now the teacher was just having us swim back and forth in the water to practice our swimming. Now no one was allowed in the deep end of course. But the stupid bitch had us swimming right close to the edge of it.. I had my eyes closed under water, i went to touch the bottom but nothing was there to touch. I panicked. I was swallowing a lot of water trying to get someone to notice me. It took my mom screaming at the top of her lungs to get the teacher to acknowledge that i was drowning.. We never went back to that place again.

I've had a few others, though not as significant as that.

Like a year ago was when my last "near death experience" was. Mkay so I was going to get a bite out to eat with my friend and shitzz and on the way there there was a small tiny road and I was turning in my lane and some screwed up driver hit me :gasp: I was in the hospital for a few days luckily i wasn't in a coma like my friend was o.o Pretty scary really. Yeah and the screwed up driver had to pay medical expenses for mah friend >_< I swear people cannot drive worth of shit these days Lot of frickin' drunken sailors who drive. them mothers -_-
-sighs-
Scary shitzz man.
scary.
Theres another one.. I can't think of atm I'll get back to that.

Umm I forgot to mention I almost died by drowning when I went to Dominican Republic. Well I was only 5 yrs old. I remember my dad threw me in the water and then my cousin saved me. I had all seawater in my mouth and almost choked to death.

I've only had one near-death experience. My dad was covering up our swimming pool with a solar blanket. I'd seen him swim underneath it several times... from one edge of the pool to the opposite side. I can't remember how old I was at the time but I was pretty young. I dove under, trying to swim the far side, and ran out of breathe halfway through.

I rose for air, but because the solar blanket was covering the pool, I basically came up gasping for air in a complete vacuum. I gasped for air, started to black out, and just as I was about to pass out and sink below the water... my dad pulled the solar blanket back.

I was never so scared in my life... it was literally like dying by drowning... only right when I was about to lose consciousness I was saved. I survived the bad part.

I almost got hit by a car twice the other day. The first time was when I was crossing the road and there was a car about 200 metres away, so I crossed pretty casually. However, the twat was speeding so yeah he almost hit me.

The second time was nothing special, I just wasn't looking as I walked past a driveway and some lady was pulling out and she almost hit me. I don't think I would've even broken a bone if she bumped me she was going pretty slow.

I can't think of any 'real' near death experiences. I've been in plenty of sticky situations, but I can't think of any points in my life off the top of my head where I actually thought I was going to die.

Also 2 years ago in winter I slipped on the ice and almost broke my head. Ice can be very dangerous sometimes eh? Also on another note I almost died because there was a car speeding but it stopped and I got up just in time. Omg Aztec that must be really bad under a solar blanket. Falling of cliffs is another thing. Oh yeah I fell down the long stairs of my school a week ago and boy was it harsh.
