Also, to make it fair for all classes...

Alexandria: Warriors only
Balamb Garden: Assassins only
Midgar: Mages only

well since there's gonna be class specific clan battle areas, could the member of the bahamut please post what class you belong to. just will make things easier later on i think. i wonder if we even have any assassin in this clan that is not a director

One problem with the clan thing. The legends are all Eric Cartman. Lmao

I will be going with the path of Warrior, though I am none too happy that of the three different FF game based clan exclusive areas, the Warrior one is from Final Fantasy IX...

I swear, Final Fantasy IX has got to be my least favourite Final Fantasy game...Final Fantasy VII is my, along with many other people's favourite Final Fantasy game, and the Mage class exclusive area is a place from this game.

More Mage favoritism I tell you! :gonk: Personally, I think it is running rampant, and has gone very much out of control, absolutely nothing seems to be in favor of Warriors or Assassins. >_<

Julius'd back me on this, he basically took words right out of my mouth on MSN the other day.

The monsters in the RPG so far are set to both screw Warriors that focus on STR more than DEX (Bats), and Warriors who focus on having equal or more DEX when compared to their own STR get a run around too (Timmy the Turtle).

And since Assassins STR/DEX couldn't be better than the forementioned, it screws them too. If they don't have as high of DEX as they should, encountering 4 Bats = never ending battle (well, until it is deleted suddenly. :/), and if they have as much DEX as they should, STR is lacking, then they can't damage Timmy the Turtle with their attacks...

If anything though, they're still better off than Warriors because they may be able to resort to casting some of those overpowered spells, so really Warriors get the worst deal here. :gasp:

Well first off, the spells aren't overpowered tbh xD

And secondly, I personally solo EVERY area assassins can access and I also personally nerfed Timmy the Turtle so assassins could damage him. So I fail to see how anyone gets 'screwed' and from what i've heard, Koloth had no trouble getting through when the monsters were TOUGHER.

So it's not a case of us 'screwing' a class or being biased, if anything perhaps your builds aren't as good as they should be. Assassins should look at builds like mine or Vikki's, we both have pretty powerful assassin builds and we've BOTH managed to get through the areas. (Vikki doing it at a much lower level than me)

The RPG is still in it's early stages... There will be more areas who challenge all the classes... And if you think about it... Mages don't really focus all the much on their HP, so a couple choice hits land and Mages go down too. :mokken:

And how is this favoritsm to mages? I am the mage director... Damon and Koloth are equally concerned about their classes as well...

Well how do you explain giving Mages an area based on the most popular FF game, and Warriors getting a, as Damon calls it; "underrated" FF game based area (from FFIX)? :P

And I didn't know about Timmy the Turtle having recently been nerfed, I haven't really been in the RPG much lately, done about everything I can do...up until very soon now. :D

Assassins have it worst actually. It doesn't matter if some of us resort to spells, we're still not going to do much damage. PLUS warriors can get Fire/Fira etc too so it's not like we have an advantage. I'm still lucky to deal 30+ damage to enemies NOT the freaking turtle. :wacky:

Also

Stole ur assassin.

EDIT: I'd also like to note.

Mages: high damage with spe;;s

Warriors: Have attack types

Assassin: ... Nothing yet so. :wacky: You can argue that Strike is for Assassins but I'm not going to use something that lowers the stats Assassins specialize in for a str boost. >_>

But some Assassins may put some of their attribute points into MAG, so those spells would be a bit more effective, where as Warriors don't, or at least it's not ideal, they rely on weapons to do all the damage for them.

Well, weapons, STR stat, and DEX stat so the attacks should be able to land at least most of the time. >_>

The bats were easy for me and Im a warrior build. There will be slight advantages for each class in certain areas. But it should not effect the balance. Of course Mages will have higher MAG and MAG DEF and tend to be slower in SPD with low def. Assassins will be weak in STR and DEF but will have high SPD and have high EVA . Warriors will have high STR and DEX and not concentrate on EVA. Also will have low MAG and a slight MAG DEF. Warriors SPD will be slightly faster than Mages. That is how the class builds will be setup. If you do not follow your class build, you will be in trouble later on.

Well I sure hope the one turn for the player and seven for monsters battle scheme changes at some point, because it is quite becoming repetitive, expectable, and tiring. I seriously enjoyed the Pirate Ship areas WAY more than the Mysterious Ruins. :mokken:

Well to my knowledge, the class areas have no more than 4 monsters in one battle (I believe such examples are Vlad Footsoldiers and Werewolves)

On the whole I think there's only one or two monsters in a battle at once.
