TETSUYA NOMURA IS MISSING...?

Agreed. If it is a joke. People really shouldn't do this sort of thing. Right now, there really are people missing and or possibly dead. Making this horrible situation into a joke is just terrible of someone to do.

I mean, what if Nomura's family saw this and just by chance hadn't talk to him in a while, they'd be worried beyond belief. And that's just so mean to put people through.

I was sad when Justin Bieber getting shot to death on CSI wasn't for real.

You said it. Couldn't agree more.

If this is a joke it's just beyond lame, tbh.

*weep*

Really if you don't furnish undeniable truth of this ...this is a really sick sick joke. I hope everyone is okay over there not just the game directors of Final Fantasy. Way to create more chaos out of an already chaotic situation over there. :rage:

I'm sure everything is ok with Nomura. We all know how many douche bags are on the internet. Until we hear something official from SE either way, I'd take this with a grain of salt.

The Pokemon creator cant die early!

Pfft, someone would just catch a new guy to lead pokemon :P

Just like someone would use a Phoenix Down on Nomura.

I think people are taking this Nomura thing way too seriously. This is the sort of thing you should expect on the internet.

It's not funny though. It's just insensitive.

It's different than when Miley Cyrus was said to be dead because that wasn't happening when something so tragic occurred. This Nomura issue is taking place because he's Japanese and something extremely scary and dangerous just took place in his homeland.

It's not a joke, and people shouldn't make it out to be one, either. :/

Well whoever has put it on the internet has done it to get a reaction and has done so successfully, congratulations everyone, you've been punk'd.

People need to lighten up. It was a joke, stop getting upset because someone made a joke you didn't like. People say worse things all the time.

So it's fake, then?

Thank God. :ryan:

no one said that, but the fact of the matter is that if it is fake, someone has spread the rumor to get a reaction and you've given them what they wanted.

i mean its not like we're all sitting around making a bonfire of all of nomura's character designs chanting bedeadbedeadbdeadbdaeadbedadbdeadbdead diemotherfuckdiemotherfuckerdiemotherfuckerdie :wacky:

Exactly. It's a shame those people can't try to view such a situation from the perspective of his family, and that people who make jokes like this aren't capable of feeling sympathy until something like that happens to themselves, and it becomes empathy. One of the biggest downfalls of remote communication IMO, people dehumanizing each other because they don't encounter each other face to face all the time anymore. As much as it would've sucked to live in some 10th century 15-house village somewhere with everyone's nose in your business all the time, at least individuals made more of an impact back then than they do now. Now people are just names floating around and no one gives a shit.

I think a lot of people, like whoever posted that thread there, just make jokes like that to try to get attention or to look cool to their friends or something. But I don't get what's so cool or funny about being insensitive, especially when there are a million other more intelligent and funny things to joke about in the world. There's nothing wrong with being genuinely concerned about the welfare of other people, it doesn't make people any less cool to do so and it doesn't mean you have a stick up your ass either.
