[T] The Hideout

The only issues my PS3s have had is the blu ray dying on me, that aside i've never had a problem with them, and I play PS3 a LOT with no YLOD

Battling gym leaders is far easier than ringing people up constantly and challenging wild Pokemon. It's a shame that they're only on specific times. Level grinding can be quite a pain sometimes.

I'd highly recommend anyone with a PSP to buy Valkyria Chronicles II! I loved the original, and the sequel is shaping up to be just as good, if not better. A brilliant, and gorgeous, SRPG.

I can just play it in 23 days. :andry: But yeah, it looks really good.

I'm advising everyone to buy Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2. :rage: MSN contacts have heard my fangasming for weeks now and it's with good reason. :mokken:

I don't find level grinding to be difficult in pokemon at all. :| I know exactly where to go to train which pokemon as well as the exp range each area gives. MY GOD I'm such a freaking nerd. <_>

You are not a nerd, Vikki. You just know where all of the good stuff is.

I am a PokéNerd, Joey. :wacky: Ask Jess or Diar or Mark. :wacky:

I don't mind being a PokéNerd... it's just times like that post above that I realise just how much I know about pokémon. XDDD

And there is nothing wrong with knowing everything about a certain game. That's how I am with a couple of games I own.

Virgil told me to just keep beating on Gym Leaders, which is fun enough, and I'm cutting back on my Poketarding, so I'll just do 1 or 2 gym leader battles, a few side-ys, and bob's your uncle. Funtiemz all around. I'm kinda looking forward to the Red Battle though. :ryan:

I just can't do it the so called "easy" way. Beating on gym leaders may be fun but I much prefer training each and every pokémon out in the wild to raise their EV's better.

I think the best wild area for me to level in now is Mt Silver, but I haven't even set foot there yet, and its been avaliable for like, 3 or 4 days. I'm suprised I didn't rush there immediately. But eh.

My next focus will lie in KH BBS, though mum got Mario Galaxy for the family today so I'll probably focus on that a bit on the side.

I only trained my starter. :rage: Which was awful when my Quilava went up against Clair and her bloody Kingdra. :jtc: Fun times were had by all, especially the Graveller I got off my friend which became a Golem of incredible win. :mokken: Traded it for a Noctowl. :andry:

Well, it's not easy level grinding for me.

I do agree Mt. Mortar is probably the best place to do so. And regarding gym leaders, it's a shame you can't battle them more often. I battled Bugsy one day all afternoon and got my Ninetales to the late 70's. It's heck of a lot easier than grinding against wild Pokemon.

And sometimes I do the occasional calling people from my list. I'm still trying to get the rest of the gym leaders on the phonebook. Bulbapedia has been useful to helping me do that and anything else, but I seem to miss them at the exact time you find them. xD

Truer words never spoken. As a kid, I only ever raised my starter, so when that thing died, I just thought "Oh shit" xD

Although, I think the exception to this rule is Pokémon Yellow, since the games gives you a Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. I just wanted to have Ash Ketchum's team. I was most unimpressed when Pidgeotto evolved into a Pidgeot :sad3:

I think I'm kinda cheating right now.

I'm in the middle of starting my HeartGold game over and over. Trading the starter ones over to my SoulSilver version as well as an extra set of them for my friend and then a third set to transfer to that version and back once I've got Cyndaquil or Totodile as my starter.

I borrowed my brother's DS for the week to do it and he handed it over. He's three. :wacky:

You mean you can't play Pokemon? :wacky:

But congrats on your job dude. Put in a good word for me, I wouldn't mind a job in HMV, or GAME. Hell I'd settle for Morrisons cause of their entertainment section.

Congrats on the job, man. Does that mean everyone in [T] gets discounts when shopping from you? :wacky:
