I have a download limit of around 12GB per month. I can't afford to make massive downloads every coupla months. Consider those with crappy Internet deals.
So why don't the PC people do their thing and console people do theirs?
I'm definitely all for the FFIX runthrough since it was originally my idea, but I don't think many people were up for it at the time. However, I do like Andrew's idea of time challenges and all that. It could add a bit of competition into it.
I never said we all had to. I'm completely fine with just a few of us doing it. I want the feeling that I'm actually in a gaming clan, and not some gaming group therapy/circle jerk.
Calling us a gaming group therapy cracked me up. Anyway I honestly agree with both you and Andeh in this. I would love to set up some online MMO that some of us could play together, but I also do like the idea of doing another play through but this time having certain things we have to do to get credits.
That sounds like a decent idea, and despite what I said I would like to take part, but mmo's aren't really my thing and my laptop can't handle much really. xD
But if you keep threads like... saying what you did etc on the game together it'd be rather fun reading even if you weren't there I think.
Well, Avvin (if he still has it installed) and I were playing Runes of Magic a while back, maybe we can start getting together and owning on that and posting out exploits here.
Other than that, I can (once again) look for a MMO that will appeal to lower end PC spec people, and not be region blocked.
Yea that region blocking shiz is just pure fail, whoever thought of that idea needs to burn in a nice blazing hot fire of death, and stuff.....yea.....-walks off rambling-
"I know a GREAT idea to get people to play our MMO."
"What's that, sir?"
"BLOCK OFF ENTIRE NATIONS FROM EACH OTHER!"
The conference room is in awed silence, unable to speak. After 5 minutes, a member of the company stands, and starts to clap his hands. Upon which, everyone, one by one, stands to clap their hands.
"BRAVO! SIR, THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING! WE'LL START IMPLEMENTING THIS NOW!"
We should do video playthroughs of various games with the players commentary (Player being us, obviously) and upload the videos onto youtube. It wouldn't necessarily be everyone playing the same game, but it would be fun to make...I'll be making them anyway, but I figured, might as well just put it out there as a clan thing anyway
That requires, certain equipment like a dazzle whcih is cheap, but for me being a HD gamer i would need a HDPVR then perhaps a desktop PC powerful enough for video editing and other things, this is something I want to do but at the moment don't have the equipment or the funds to do this, good idea though.
what I was thinking that when PSN is finally back up (3 weeks from now ) we should atleast dedicate 1 day a week to playing on AC: Brotherhood as a clan for those who have it. Yes Ami and Mark, we need to get playing this ASAP
My computer is a piece of absolute shit with a whopping 504MB RAM 2GHz processer and 80GB hard drive with a horrible graphics and video card...CamStudio is free and allows the recording of things on your screen along with the recording of a mic, so it costs nothing and doesn't take a strong computer
