I didn't tell you I was 13, did I? If that's against the rules feel free (staff) to ban me. Although before that I typed in the wrong year and then realised I was 18.

To be honest I didn't even notice at first. =P

Don't worry, you're not the only one to go online and lied about their age. I did it too. I was only 12 when I discovered the wonders of chatting. I was on my uncle's aim screename (obviously had a guy's name), chatted with a random guy, told him I was 18 and that I go to Harvard, and I do believe I was trying to flirt...and towards the end he's like, "Aren't you a guy?" Oops, forgot about the male screename. :D Now that sucks.

I did once to get on forums and what not eventually settled into Xeno and had fun for a while then lost the internet for a few years.

I think it used to be against the rules, for some obscure reason, but has since been omitted. If I had to guess, it was used as a reason to ban newbies, who tended to be of such an age or below.
 
I don't see it as a problem if someone is around your age and on a forum-as long as they're mature, I guess that's all that matters. And you seem mature enough. ^_^ What's bad is when kids run around screaming, "Z0MG I LYK N4RUT0 C4N J00 G1V3 M3 UR SW0RD D03S J00 W4NT 2 B3 MY BF?!?!one!!111!" Sad to say that's how kids act these days.

And yes, I too pretended I was older when I was younger. Funny thing is, I don't think anyone suspected me of my age. 0_0 Maybe it was because I was more mature than the majority of the kids that went on, but I don't know.

Eventually I decided to leave, because I knew that if they ever found out my age, they would flame me like crazy. So I just went bye bye and never went back.
 
Yea, a young age does not necessitate immaturity... but the correlation is high. I'm fine going on a member by member basis, especially considering so many members come on here and post like morons that are older than I am.
 
to be honest age s just a number, imo it shoudnt matter what that number is, and i tend not to be bothered about it, and i dont see the point of arguing with anyone that does take notice so i tend not to say it much anymore.
 
I noticed you had changed your age and I was like wot? xD

tbh I thought it was odd when I read your age as 13... You'd been 18 for almost the year and all :wacky:
 
Who cares if your only 13. 13 year olds are on bebo and have MSN messenger.

I'm 15 and I'm on here. Nothing wrong with any of it. You have just as much right to be here as the next person!:)
