SPOILERS NOW IN THREAD.


I have to do this bio thing with binomial nomenclature and all that, so I figured I'd name the animals after final fantasy characters, with some other thing from that particular universe. I go on wikipedia to try to find the name of the planet that FFVIII takes place, and PURPOSELY skip story knowing that there would be spoilers (playing through the game right now). I happen to glance at a picture of Laguna and Squall together, and see the text describing their relationship...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

So yeah, I'm seriously pissed. I've managed to spoil every FF game so far except for XIII, and any other ones I haven't played.

It's not really a spoiler. Squall and Laguna's homosexual relationship has no bearing on the plot.
 
That sucks.

Luckily that last time I played a FF for the first time playing and didn't want to be spoiled was before I really discovered everything on the internet. Things like wiki didn't exist, and I wasn't on a forum either so nothing was spoiled.

FFXIII will be the first main FF game that this will be the case.

It's hard to avoid spoilers on the internet. People are generally good here, but on other websites and sometimes clicking the wrong thing on a wiki project could spoil quite a bit.

I wouldn't worry too much about that spoiler though, it's only a sub-plot'ish kind of spoiler (sort of).

People will be especially cautious with XIII spoilers though because they know that not as many people have beaten the game. Meanwhile, with games like VII and VIII, which are over 10 years old, spoilers are all over the place because it's almost expected that you have beaten the game by now.

There could be some other factors though.
 
Oy. You'll wanna change the title to "contains spoilers" now.

It's nothing - it was made up. I was slightly confused as well for a moment there.
 
...okay first off FFVIII Is amazing. so ignore any statement to the contrary.

also. At least you didn't accidentally scroll too far down on FF Wiki while looking for awesome pictures of FFXIII characters, and then accidentally read the ending of FFXIII. I did :ffs:
