I was thinking the exact same thing. It was only a month or so back when votes, sotw in particular were almost hitting 20...now their dwindling :ness:
Seems like theres phases though when the voting threads are real busy then afterwards they die down for a few weeks D:
The more Gfx artists who enter, the less there is to vote aswell.

You also have to look at the fact that for GFXing hitting 20 odd votes was probably punching above the forums weight, yes we have GFX clans and a successful weekly SoTW/AoTW but is FFF GFX inclined, no. We don't have enough GFXers to cope with both a large amount of entries and votes.
 
Just want a lil' clarification for SOTW 105; are we suppose to incorporate both FFVIII and FFIX, or just choose one or the other?
 
I think Vikki means you can choose one or the other, although if you want to incorporate both, that should be fine, in my opinion anyway.
 
Basically what Mark said. You can use either FFVIII or FFIX theme, but if you want to use both, feel free to do so.
 
I submitted mine like two days ago. I started working on like sorta forcing my self to make it and as I went along I started liking more and more how it was coming out until yay, I basically didn't even notice that quite a bit of time had passed.
I enjoyed making this one. =)
 
IM not entering xD Final Fantasy enjoys giving me HELL in GFX.
Gonna try and C+C them all the best i can though. Looking forward to the entries as usually final fantasy themes draw a big turnout so hopefully thers plenty of votes to accomodate.
 
I might finally relent and make Sports the theme for SOTW 106 >_> Unless I can think of something between now and the time I put the guidelines up :gonk:

How about a superhero theme? I dont think that been done before could be quite interesting.
 
I think we've done a Hero/Villain theme before. I'm not sure. I'll have to check / update the first page >_>
 
I have a query.
On the first page of this thread it gives the sotw winners and tells you the particular theme of that sotw. However i noticed they dont match up with the sotw history thread.
For example it says that sotw#19 was one by scrutator but if you look at the 19th sig in sotw history its by a member name minns.

Im confused o_O
 
Because we haven't ALWAYS had the SOTW box, so those in the SOTW history only started from like...sometime between SOTW 50-70

Ahh it never came to me that they werent all there. I suppose its obvious though as theres nowhere near a hundred odd.
 
The comic book theme is quite fun to do. Already started on mine and almost done with it - just a few touch ups needed. I'm liking the composition so far.

I've been missing the votes for SOTW and AOTW lately. >.> I came on early this morning to vote quickly but the poll has already ended. Should note to myself to vote Thursday nights at the latest. But to be honest I'm feeling kinda lackadaisical when it comes to voting too because this past month, no one hardly ever votes anymore. Not just talking about the lack of votes from GFX artists...but mainly the non-GFX artists because there used to be so many that would vote back in the days...
