Eek, I only received two entries this week! Maybe it was because it was a sucky theme, or because SOTW wasn't advertised well this week...but eh. Theme was Pokémon! And you must still post for your votes to count ^^

1 is just so much more interesting to look at.The green clashes really well with the yellow, and it's lit very nicely.
The second one seemed a bit empty on the left, and the text really didn't fit at all.

The colours on 1 look really nice, and they're more vibrant too whereas the colours on 2 look sort of dull. >_> I wasn't a fan of the text in 2 either.

I really don't like pokemon so Voted for 2 cause it looked best.

Number 1 looked snazzier, and a bit better then the 2nd. Electivire looks spookily scary which is kinda cool

I'm not a fan of Pokemon, but the effects and background colors are pretty awesome. The border effects are great too as they catch attention for being unique.

Number 1 the colors, the pokemon, and the background all are in harmony. Number 2 has a great background. so i voted for 1

I vote for number 1. The colors, text, and blending is put together nicely. Number 2 is okay but could've used more color to make it stand out and the text looks awful in my opinion.

Number 1 looks like a lot of effort was put into it. The colors look amazing and the sig overall just looks really professional. The second one looks a bit messy in my opinion, sort of like it was just slapped together.

So my vote goes to 1

I honestly don't much like either of them...It was pretty much a toss-up for me to decide...In the end, I saw the second one as being more of a rough product that needed some polishing around the edges (and a completely different font...maybe get rid of the slogan), while the first was just a finished product I didn't much care for, didn't like the ugly lookin Pokemon or the wacky boarder (the font & colors were nice, though)...so I went with no. 2.

I am voting for number 1 because i find it more appealing to look at and also when i actually played pokemon, a while back, nevertheless it was an addicting game, i would have to say electabuzz was one of my fav pokemons and number 1 reminds me of that pokemon

Number 1. The little pokemon dude in the second one looks so out of place with that background and the text is terrible. The first one is nice and clean and looks like it all fits together well.

Number 1 for me, altough i do like Houndoom the 2nd one just seems a bit to bland for my likings and 1 seems to stand out more thus getting my vote.

My vote goes to number one.

It's really appealing (although I'm not to fond of the borders around it) and it looks professional.

My vote goes to entry #1. The comp of it is very interesting and the stock blends well with the bg.

I liked the colors in #2, but I didn't think the stock fit very well.

#1 without a shadow of a doubt. Has the best over all effects and flow. The lighting is also nice.
