The theme this week was Final Fantasy Forums Banner. Please remember, that while posting isn't necessary in order to count your vote, it is encouraged.

Also, please remember that you CANNOT vote for your own entry, and you will be disqualified from this SOTW, and the next two SOTWs if you do so.

I voted for 1 because it looks like the most feasible banner. The main focus should be the text and it does that well. I also like how it blends the images together nicely but I think maybe they should pop a bit more. :hmmm:
Very clean and it looks great. :ryan:

The other ones were OK IMO. The text in the others isn't as good as in 1 and I also felt like there was too much emphasis on a particular FF in each of them. It's an FF forum so it covers all of the games so greater variety in the stocks would have been better I think. For example, take the 3rd one. Vincent from DoC doesn't really say FF even though it looks nice.
 
It's a shame that #4 didn't have depth, or I would've voted for that one because the way it looks now is certainly tempting. I have to go with what Ewan said, and vote for #1; it looked most appealing.
 
Banner 1 gets my vote.

The tone of color is the most subtle and it's not too bright. Plus, all the pictures fit together nicely. The text could have used a bit of overlaying, but it stands out nicely.
 
I put my vote on #1. The design is very much impressive, along with the fact that it has a lot of the game's settings and major events merged together to kind of look like a graphic portfolio. I liked #2 as well, so it was hard to choose between them - but overall, I had to go with #1 since it had a style that I probably wouldn't have thought of .

The first one gets my vote.

It doesn't focus on one game entirely and I like it more than the others. It's really pretty and could easily see it as a replacement banner.
 
I went with #1. I agree with what Ewan said, it doesn't put emphasis on one FF game. The pictures are blended together nicely and I like the little light-orbs floating in the banner. I liked #2 too, but I prefer #1 alittle more.

It caught my eye right away. It's just really visually appealing, nice depth, great work with the text and the colors, and like Ewan said, the banner should focus on the text, and this one seems to do that the best.
