Also i'd assume it would be full realtime rather than swapping between realtime and turnbased

Well the costs would be much lower so they could sell it cheaper. No licencing fees to 52 football leagues etc
if only. blitzball could have been really good but it gets really tedious once you've got even an average team.
I dont think they ever sell games cheaper. If it has the words final fantasy in the title itd be full price

i could never get brother because he'd always get signed before i got to the airship. i suppose you could just not play blitzball until then, but it's quite fun at first when the other teams are a challenge. you really only need a decent striker though and someone who can hold onto the ball and you're laughing
I remember playing so much Blitzball in the first playthrough that I never wanted to play it again in later ones. Which is a pain because some of the stuff you can win by playing the tournaments is awesome. I also remember my tactic was to just recruit the whole al bhed team as their contracts expired... which worked

I usually dont bother with blitzball until later in the game and i get brother. I wasnt even aware he could sign for anyone else before you got him.
yeah he usually ends up at one of the shit teams, crazily. so he's totally wasted and isn't really a threat.
Would have been nice if they decided to fix the blitzball for the HD remake. For an early generation ps2 game its acceptable but by todays standards its not very playable at all. I think the chances that SE actually bothered to do that though is somewhere around 0.
i'd be very surprised if they touched that at all. you've got more chance of jimmy saville coming back from the grave and touching a child
