Today whilst my family bugged me aboot my new boytoy, after I mentioned his cheesy opening line (of which they would not shut up afterward :rage: , they think we met irl first) my brother goes "He said something Pokemonish to win you over, didn't he..? 'I choose you!' "

:hmmm: And it made me think.. for gaming nerds around the world (well for the 10% who can get out and MEET a guy/girl) there could be good money in game oriented Valentines cards.

Picture this.

A PokeBall on the front cover, that says 'I choose you!' and then on the inside, a heart shaped stadium with 'In the battle for my heart' inside.

There's good money in this. :britt:

Have you considered the amount of money it would cost to get the copyrights for the imagery of the poke ball and the the related intellectual rights to be waved so you can pursue this?

Id give my Caitlin a Charrizard Pokeball with a corny line "you set me on fire" or somethin?:wacky:
 
I bet he wasn't thinking 'Pokemon' when he said it though.

Sounds like an awesome idea, if you could keep coming up with cute one-liners for the different card designs, and there's also the thing Pete mentioned bout the costs of copywright, materials ect.

other than that, Tis a grand idea!

:hmmm: Copyright infringement might be a problem... but nothing dodging a few emails and angry letters won't solve. :wacky:

The possibilities are endless, and not just for Pokemon. Mario, Zelda, as well as this gen games. :ohoho:

There...wasn't much of a point here.. other than I told my folks that my boy used a cheesy line, an right away they assumed only something so geeky could win me over. :wacky:
 
I gave up watching pokemon along time ago lol so I have no idea what those references mean:sad3:Dont get me wrong Channi-something but I think this a kewell idea.

When I was 14 I was obsessed with Pokemon:lew:

I even named bahamut on FFVIII Freaking Charrizard lol I wanted a Charrizard toy so badly:sad3: but could only find little kid toys that were stuck in poses.

Basically I wanted an action figure:D
