So, I work at McDonalds. And the Monopoly game is currently going on. As an employee, I cannot play the game this year, so I figured I'd just give my game pieces to a really nice elderly man who is there every day. On the first day, I got Boardwalk. I gave it to him. The next day, I got Park Place. and gotten like 15 more Park Place since then. So Boardwalk is the hard one to find this year. So, I basically gave him $1,000,000. To make me feel worse about it, "If I Had A Million Dollars" by the Barenaked Ladies was on the radio during my lunch break today. fml.

1 mill in real currency? or fake money?
No way if its real money :O
But how ironic that radio song in your break, I swear that happened to me so many times ..about other stuff though, but still its like God sometimes changes the song on the radio to annoy us xD

Hey thanks lady, you gave me $1,000,000. Just kidding.

Well think about it this way, you did a good deed. And it's not like you literally gave them $1,000,000 out of your own pocket.

fuck you

dont hate bnl because old man river stole your money :rage:

also, i'd suggest working at a better restaurant if you really have to work in one amanda. like pizza hut :awesome:

but i guess some people cant help it, i'd die if i had to work at a mcdonalds T____________T

Real money Ohri. The grand prize if you get the boardwalk and park place pieces is $1,000,000. And my family could DEFINITELY use $1,000,000. It was a definite fml moment :sad3:

i wish the radio played more BNL

the world needs more BNL :hmph:

the world needs BNL like Sirius XM Lithium needs Soundgarden.

which, if you don't listen to Sirius XM Lithium, is about every other 2 songs. :hmph:

OMG OMG OMG !!!

so its fact already that old man won the prize?
man he's old anyways :(

I feel sorry for you and your family, I know some people need it more than others.. :*(

Oh dear X_x

Well, odds are the 1,000,000.00 get's divided among other winners, and that's after getting through background checks and such, right?

you should've given the pieces to your niece or nephew !!! :rage:

I think we all have given up money by mistake, haven't we?

That money goes into the hands of someone lucky who builds and builds on it. Somehow 99% of people don't have any luck, but that other 1% has 100% luck.

as far as I know, he hasn't gotten Park Place yet, or if he has, he hasn't realized it yet. :hmmm:

I agree what Vircon said :/ It really sucks, and especially since you really couldn't have known that it was going to be worth that much at the time, but at least it went to someone who's a nice person. I did hear recently though that there was this guy who had a $14 million lottery ticket, and he already knew that he'd won, but somehow the ticket ended up in his shredding machine with a pile of mail. And even though the numbers were still legible, because the ticket had rips in it, the lottery office wouldn't accept it :gonk: So I guess that kind of stuff just happens sometimes :sad3: Sorry to hear about it.

Either way, unless things have changed since a few years ago, you still have to get lucky to be the winner AFTER you get the right pieces so we still be lucky afterwards.

theres plenty of people who could be doing with more money.

but unless youre in enourmous amounts of debt im fairly sure you dont NEED a cool mill :busta:
