Do you ever wonder why you have so much music on your ipod when all you do is skip pretty much everything and pretty much just listen tot he same old songs all the time?

I spend halfmy time pulling it out of my pocket, skipping, listening to a song, oputting it back in my pocket, only to do the same thing again as soon as the song has finished

I swear I should just clear it out and have like, 10 songs on there :rage:

I think I press skip sometimes because I'm not in the mood for that particular song that comes on or it's the fact it's a song I've exhausted out too much to even play anymore. Either way, it's annoying how I skip some songs. I just don't have the patience to listen to most of them now.

It depends on what I'm in the mood for. I have like 600 when I really don't even need some of those songs. But I'm constantly deleting and adding music. I swore long ago I would never have more than 100 songs....I lied D:

I find myself doing that a great deal actually. :lew:

I usually make playlists of the songs I listen to most or sometimes the ones I'm in the mood for. And even when I do that I end up skipping a lot of them.

I rarely ever find myself going to the 'Songs' section of my MP3 player, I tend to go to 'Recently Added' and set the most recently added song(s) on repeat.

And if I ever do decide to shuffle through songs, I end up hitting skip an incredible amount of times.

If I had the patience I'd remove all the old songs that I don't ever listen to off of it, but I'd probably end up having to go through the files whenever I added new music on. I really only listen to the newest songs I've added.

My old ipod had this feature but my new one doesn't. Hence the reason I have to go in and constantly make playlists of the songs I want to hear. It's rather inconvenient, tbh. :8F:

It doesn't really matter what sort of mood I'm in, I will always only want to listen to a select few on my computer, car stereo etc.

The rest are there to fill up space. >.<

Whenever I create a new CD I think, 'Oh yeah I like that song, I'll keep it on there. I may be in the mood for it one day.'

They almost always get skipped.

I'm usually in the mood for rapid, fast paced music, so Iskip the slower stuff unless I'm in emo mode. I tend to stick to the fast paced stuff to egt me pumped up for the day.

Haha yes. I just go through all the songs. Even the ones that I do not like. I find myself using skip alot. Depends what kind of music I am in the mood for. I have lots of Japanese music on the Ipod touch(will put it on the Iphone) Sometimes I listen to the same songs over and over again and I do not know it. I have alot on it. I never bother deleting songs though. Unless it is rap that somehow managed to get there. But really an Iphone can hold ALOT of songs but I only will need a few. I find no point of 1000 songs on a single music device :lew:

Like a lot of people have said before me, the mood I am in depends on what music I want to listen to. For example before a fencing competition I listen to something like Joshua Radin as it's very calming and it helps nerves. However if I am going on a night out something much more upbeat and alive like Kasabian is required. Though there are quite a few songs I don't like on my iPod, simply because I abhor downloading single songs instead of an entire album.
