Camping? My character couldn't start a fire. :lew: What kind of an area is on the other side of that tunnel, to be a place one would even possibly be camping? Hm...

I appreciate the offered help, I was disappointed by the lameness that had to result from that annoying structural ruination, it was pretty well my own damnation in the process...

So perhaps I best rethink my time and way of entering into the RP. Is the other side of that tunnel, clearly visible from outside of it, or is it kind of a hidden passageway that blends in as part of the ground or something...? The whole hall, corridor, tunnel thing has me kind of lost now. :hmmm:
 
The best answer I can give you to those questions is: I don't know. :hmmm:

It may just be best to wait for a few posts afterwords and then have you character enter. Like I said, I'm sure you'll be fine. Or, if you want, just keep going from where you are now. You made a simple mistake, no one's going to rage at you for it. :hmmm:
 
Yes, I made the mistake of not being only 24/7, then just making a post right after those explosions were being caused, to just show up before them then and there, to inevitably be spotted, and introduce himself there, owing some explanation then surely.

But maybe this awesome feat can be taken as such, Crimson using Stealth Camouflage to get through unseen until it came to that tunnel. xD

Unless anyone has a big problem with that, I do realize an impossibility was suggested to have been pulled off, really, but it is an RP, it isn't very realistic, no blade can cause explosions off in the distance, either. :wacky:

I'm really hyped about joining up with you guys later... an image is in my head of Orion, seeing the need for a fire, taking a bunch of wood, a match, and a bottle of alcohol. Boom, there's your campfire.
 
Crimson Wolf is covered in fur, a campfire isn't required for him to keep warm. xD Oh, and is it currently day time or night time outside?

I am hoping RPers can just overlook that one unlikely thing that happened, and proceed with it, as it is now, Crimson near the tunnel where the others are, that would actually make things the least complicated.

Sorry for the mess, though, I know what happened is not realistic, but I wasn't exactly planning on an avalanche of sorts, either, so to speak, so compromise a bit, guys. :gasp:

I did state later that there is no absolute GM powered need for you to edit it. We, or I for that matter since i started it, was just pointing out that it was odd and kinda unrealistic. Not him diving past the falling rubble, but him remaining undetected. By the by, 6 feet tall and 210 pound is pretty sizey by my characters standards. It is not the best size to be stealthy, particularly in that context, but that is not important. The easiest method i saw was just to edit out the part about not being detected, but reading back, you fixed it rather well, so this issue is resolved.

Do mind that Henrietta is gonna be keeping a mighty tight eye on you Wolfy.
 
Don't worry, I understand the situation is a bit...uncomfortable? Dunno the best word for it, but the whole sudden appearance thing may just seem odd to the whole lot of them, and even suspicious to some. =P

But Crimson did give valid reasoning for speaking little at the moment, I dare to say, and did at least give his name so they had something. :ryan:
 
Dw, you're not alone. Henrietta also does not trust Rhodes. Its her character. So damn fervently loyal that unless you clear her trust, she's gonna be a bit spiteful, valid reason or not.

I mean the entire royal family bar the prince is dead, slaughtered. Some mysterious wolf man came out of the middle of nowhere IN the palace. As a royal guard, that has suspicious stamped all over it. For all she knew, you could be an Umbran assassin
 
Odds are that Alyss won't be so trusting at first either. Not only does your character appear out of the blue, Alyss didn't even see it when it happened. So imagine her surprise when the wolf comes popping up out of the hole. XD

Though, that's not to say that Alyss won't warm up eventually. :wacky:

Also 3:07am and I'm working, while drinking, while messing with this awesome machine. :ryan: I love my job. :griin:

I wonder, how will your characters react to a drunk...
 
and well, you know the deal with my character and yours...The fact that mine is part cat and yours is part...dog, doesn't really help matters much, does it? XD
 
Wow, seriously? I had no idea going by the image of the character you showed for in your character bio, looks perfectly normal to me, so I wouldn't exactly call the image used ideal. :hmmm:

But it was a good thing you made that clear, because I had no idea, if I just first found out in the RP, I would have been pretty surprised by it. o_O

Hm, maybe an explanation soon would be wiser than anything, far as my continued breathing goes. :| Really isn't wise, ultimately, with real Umbran forces on their tails (just a figure of speech, not saying everyone has a tail...).

As of now, all Demitra's doing is waiting to know what her task is. She could possibly run into any of the Neutral characters when she finally goes out. :hmmm: Depending on who it is though, there's no telling what her first impression will be . :monocle:

Head of the royal guard currently in a tunnel and a stranger appears next to the prince in the middle of a war in which the king and queen are dead.

Also seeing a major lack of trust on my character's part, and if he hadn't been otherwise occupied, this could have got messy, especially considering the manner of your sudden appearance. :wacky:

I might look at writing another post later depending on who else posts later on, and what stage the group as a whole gets to.
 
I have decided!

What I shall do is I shall be like a side-role story until I get to you guys... which could be a while. So, until that time, I'm turning Orion's misadventures into "The Drunk's Story."

X3 It shall mainly be for comic relief on my part. That, and to take a break from what you all are doing. Think like the ATE events for FF IX.

EDIT: Ok, so as no one has posted here yet.. I shall mention in this post!

So, since I just posted (compare times) in the Roleplay, I shall mention that the post in the Roleplay? Probably the most bad-ass and longest post I have ever written.

Freakin enjoy it.

I am really rather enjoying how this is playing out, very interesting. There's just the right amount of tension at the moment, while everyone isn't staring daggers at me, it is far from a relaxed environment as a whole, at the same time.

Though through this whole thing, Crimson has been remaining calm and really pretty casual about the situation, but in his mind he is very focused, and ready for an enemy attack at any time, as the group is on the run from Umbran forces.

I figure you can use the Umbran soldiers assigned to you as NPCs or some such...it's not really realistic that you alone will be stopping the Prince. :wacky:

Nothing brings people together more than a good fight, though...that should take care of the lingering trust issues the exiles are dealing with.

I enjoy creating new words; infamness (infamous and Ness combined. :P), I shall also enjoy stretching my arms out a bit, claws first through some foolish Umbran Soldier's throat. :giggle:
 
Igh crap. Sorry guys. I've been so busy with work and being ill the last few days.

I'm off work tomorrow so I'll try and get one up tonight though I'm feeling like shit... if not tonight, it''ll be tomorrow after sleep.
