Sephiroth vs. Superman

I suppose I should have mentioned this. Superman is vulnerable to magic. He has absolutely no defense against it. He could easily be killed by a "Death" spell, put to "Sleep", "Petrified", transformed into "Mini" or a "Frog", and his speed could be cut in half by a "Slow" spell, or he could even be "Stopped" in his tracks. Even if he tried to pre-empt Sephiroth, Sephiroth would probably have "Sneak Attack" equipped to his armor in conjunction with some other magic materia to combat Superman.

About 3000 Superman comics I own say I know what I am talking about. In the comic series "Batman Return of the Dark Knight", Bruce Wayne beat the living hell out of Superman, with the help of Green Arrow and his Mecca armor. Batman, people come on. Did I forget to mention that Bruce Wayne was 65 years of age when he beat the hell out of Clark? He was. And Clark didn't even appear to have aged. He just doesn't know how to use his awesome powers. He needs to go back to Superhero academy and retake Superpowers 101, because he obviously received an F. Even MARVEL's Thor has beaten Superman. And if you saw Ultimate Avengers, Sephiroth moves a hell of a lot better than Thor in Advent Children. You know why Thor beat Superman? Because Thor's powers are magic based.

Having said all that... I think that Sephiroth stands a significant chance.
 
Superman has a weakness and it's Kryptonite, Sephiroth creating a materia using Kryptonite and begin like this:
Sephiroth: Sup Superman?
Superman: nuthin much.
Sephiroth: They said to me that u r invincible.
Superman: They r right.
Sephiroth: Then if I stab u with my sword, will u be dead?.
Superman: of Course not.
Sephiroth: Then can I try.
Superman: go a head but I have to warn u that your sword will be broken after that.
Sephiroth: it's all right, I will take a risk.
*Sephiroth Equip Kryptonite in his sword, and stab Superman*
Sephiroth: u lied, there u see u r dead now, it's all your fault
*Sephiroth giggles*

Sephiroth would win obviously. Who would argue on a Final Fantasy forum such as this? He has the Masamune and was injected with the Jenova cells in the womb of Lucrecia. He's up to Superman's strength, maybe even more.
 
No Kryptonite won't effect him since he's an angel with one wing
 
Sephiroth would win, I am sure that no one on this site objects, unless they are a true Sephiroth hater, in which case they deserve to be hunted down and killed. LOL
 
Just play a game of basketball with him but use a blitz ball with an element.

This is an insult. i don't like Superman but this is just sick.

Superman of the comics (old school known as Pre-Crisis) sneezed...and destroyed a solar system. No joke. His heat vision rekindled a star.

Movie Superman flew a nuclear bomb into space in no time and chucked it away to save hundreds of thousands of lives.

Sephiroth isn't capable of flying into orbit in a couple seconds. And he certainly isn't capable of withstanding a punch from PC Superman who could punch through reality.
 
Since I generally don't like Sephiroth sorry fan girls / boy besides he looks like an undead Barbie or rob zombie creation I would pick Superman besides for looks he actually has some really muscle going on here. Hopefully he would just break "sephy's" sword and all.

But if you really wanted my opinion then Superman would fly into space with a large piece of rock then from there throw it at the the planet creating a large explosion killing Sephiroth within. End.
 
just for the sake of the argument. Remember superman can travel back in time by flying around the world so fast that he could reverse the earths rotation. So if he wanted, he could just travel back far enough to kill the guy who was supposed to be Sephiroth's father and that would be that.

Plus Super Man owns. simply put.

Seriously though, had the first post not had such...odd information, I'd have said Superman would have won without question. But just for the point of being an ass about it, I'll say Superman anyway. Because I don't care.

Sepiroth can fly, sephiroth can cover the whole planet with Dark Clouds and sephiroth can travel with any planet so he'll just take the earth to a place away from the sun and there Superman will say "no plz don't punch me I'm just an a$$hole dude with empty muscles" :P

Don't be silly! Sephiroth would take his overly large sword, bad plot and fangirls and do battle with beings far mightier and far weaker than Supes.

























...the mightier being Galactus.
The weaker being a standard Green Lantern.

And he'd die horribly in both fights.
