However, in all seriousness, because of my trip, I'm going to be a little inactive the next week or so. I can still make a post if I need to, but odds are, I'm going to be relaxing. :ryan:

A bit of research here and there doesn't hurt though. It can be the difference between something being realistic or not; for example if a person who can only run about 6mph is able to outrun a monster/animal that can hit 30mph or so as its top speed. I've seen that happen before :hmmm:
 
But in everyone's bio, they have characters that can typically clock in at about 30mph. XD

Even I do that. O_O

Anywho, I usually don't do research, I know enough about my characters to draw their limits and I never make my characters people meant to understand more than me. They all understand less than me, that way, I know their limits. Thus why I love stories like this, I made the technology, so that means, my character knows it too :dave:
 
Well, now that I'm back home, I will have the RP thread up tomorrow. Also, I'll be posting posts in every other RP thread as well. I've got catching up to do. :hmmm:

I've come up with three names for the RP, and I'm going to go ahead and let you guys choose.

So pick one: Skies of Elleard, Tales from Elleard, or Elleardan Dreams.

Nationality: Born Skylerkian, now unaffiliated (Due to being betrayed by her Skylerkian family, then sold into slavery by Neristrians.)


Race: Elf


Age: 18


Gender: Female


Alignment: Lawful Good

Darquewillow's pink hair and pink eyes cause her to stand out in a crowd. When she's able to get to wear what she wants, she chooses to dress as noble as possible. Even as a slave, she maintains her pride. She wears black ribbons in her hair to hide her long elven ears from customers at the bar she works at.


Her long black dresses are given to her by her owner, not out of a gesture of kindness, he only prefers to see his possessions look nice.


Personality: Darquewillow is very calm, and very reserved, and somewhat timid. She doesn't enjoy fighting unless it's necessary, and hates the concept of violence. Speaking with a tone of nobility, even while being a slave, she finds that customers at the bar will sometimes get annoyed with her. However, even then, she still remembers where she comes from. She's very eager to escape, but unfortunately, has never had the opportunity. He only goal at the moment is to find a way to freedom.


Although she typically remains calm, a few of the customers can get rather grabby. When this happens, she's quick to run. When angered, she will not hesitate to punch someone in the face. Though, because of her stature, she unfortunately doesn't do much damage. So she is very cautious about who she delivers drinks to.


History: Darquewillow was born to a noble family. Her family left the Neristrian nation long ago, and she was raised as a Skylerkian. She was taught to use guns, and pilot steam mechs for travel. She never used a mech for combat, and the gun was in self-defense. However, she understands the concept behind using guns on mechs.


When she was 16, her family took a trip across country on the backs of Mech's. Having no weapons, her family was defenseless when they were attacked by Neristrian soldiers. In this group of soldiers was a Neristrian high Noble named Kassidus Laminet. He made the demand that they could leave unharmed if they left behind Darquewillow.


Her family made no hesitation in the decision. She was the carried away by Laminet, and offered to be his bride. However, she refused multiple times, and was ultimately sold as a slave to a man by the name of Ragnus Mojan, who lived on a small island that served as a border between the two nations. There, he had her work in a bar that he owned.


She's been working there for a year and a half, longing to escape. Her dream may come true as she sees a man that she's never seen before walk into the bar. Unbeknownst to her, this man is Thirteen.


Weapons: A Mech that Thirteen steals for her. It's equipped with a machine gun, and quite old. Thirteen vows to protect her if she can get him to the closest ancient ruin.


Skills: The ability to pilot a mech.

Maybe photobucket then? Or find a special anime gallery. That's where most of my images came from. Special galleries...for special people...etc
 
I know I've gotten a few from 4chan. Other than that, I'd really have to look around. If I find anything, I'll send you a link to it. :grin:
