RPG Inferno Suggestions Thread

Think you could make the Flan's in the fire cavern capable of taking damage from physical weapons, i have 230 Str, and and extra 30 each from both my daggers, and im doing 0 damage so it's impossible for me to beat them solo, and i don't think this is fair
 
You are meant to only deal damage to them using Magic, not physical attacks. The mods made the Flan that way :neomon: Get to casting those spells :mokken:

That won't be changing anytime soon since they are meant to be that way. Besides I had over 400 STR and I still didn't deal damage. Also with 230 STR you won't be dealing damage to warriors in PvPs if they have a full armour set of mythril and over 220 DEF. =/
 
Simple suggestion here, well more a request really. I noticed you have a whip type weapon, id also like a morning star type weapon, and a flex type attack, but rather than buffing stats the attack would aim to decrease stats, such as morning stars with the flex ability would reduce defence, and whips would reduce evasion, other than that im actually liking the way things are shaping with the RPG xD
 
You can't make attack types that reduce the enemy's stats, the closest thing would be for there to be an enchantment to put on the weapon that may cast a stat lowering spell. :hmmm:
 
can a brother get another crafting tool PLEASE!!!!!

maybe just a better tool to use, In the last few RP's we had more than one by this amount of cities and available areas and what not.
 
Well Mithril makes weapons that are better than the shop available ones (well the daggers anyway) and there easy to get, either from the magma Dragon or Tonberries

Yes, Daggers, but Swords. The strongest sword right now is the Steel Sword with 40 STR which sucks for Sword and Shield users. Hence why I shifted to mage for now because there's not much to do around anyway. :sad3:
 
The reason why we are not making better hammers is because we want to control the ammount of enchantments a weapon or armour would have. To prevent stuff from getting overpowered with a load of enchantments stacking. Trying to keep the amount of enchantment points to under 40. So that items will probably only get one enchantment.

As for components being specific for each item, I am working on that issue. Just trying to keep some control on things.
 
Well, admittedly if you scan me and check all through my items and spells, you'll see some pretty effective stuff in there, but I next to never use them. :wacky:

But yeah, want to keep everything under control and as balanced as it can be in RPG Inferno. :hmmm:

I keep seeing more daggers/claws and no swords. :mokken:
 
There's gonna be Swords. ^^; I just don't wanna spoil what isn't available yet. :gasp: I ask that you continue to be patient just a little more, and apologies for not having addressed the issue of lack of good Sword stuff sooner, I'm doing my best. >.>
 
I am sorry for the wait, but just trying to get them fully prepared, I think all of you guys, the players, will enjoy them when they are released before too too long. :monster: And yes I realize I typed the word "too" two times in a row. >.>
 
Can't you just put Berserk's stat boost to what it was and have it start at fifty MP for level 1, then reducing in MP while the stat boost remains the same as the spell levels up? It's not fair to Mages at all when someone can cut you down that easily.

Yes, besides most warriors and assassins have a pet that can spam spells at us mages anyway. (Yeah, I am a mage for now.) :wacky:

Also, how about creating a weapon/enchantment that restores MP per attack but deals no damage? :monster:

100% spell casting chance, restoring 150 MP :wacky:
 
I know, but I can't do it on my own, it should be in agreement with one of the other RPG Directors. I definitely don't think the max STR boost of Berserk should exceed 100, I thought 50 was fair, personally, but we just have to see. :hmmm:
 
Diar isn't asking for an increase in the stat boosts of Berserk. He's asking for the MP COST to be lowered but KEEP the original boosts the spell gives of +50 str and +30 dex. This allows the Mages to easily boost their strength to deal some damage physically (however weak) without having to spend TOO much MP on it.

Though... thinking about it. Would it be possible to have some sort of spell that increases MAG at some point... soon? A MAG based variant of Berserk? That raises MAG and EVA? Or something. Just to give the Mages something similiar to what the Physical fighters get?
