Earth Year 223,

In the wake of the final war known as the Great Destruction, mankind was forced underground. But with the discovery of the pre-war Mars Immigration Project, mankind would again prosper and flourish.

The age of conflict in the subterranean world was finally over, and the newly established Government made recovery of the devastated environment its priority. Emigration to Mars was recommended, but that meant a threat to law and order on the Red Planet.

Corporations that were all-powerful in the subterranean world lost all their power when the government was created. But with a new planet to explore, they found new opportunities to regain their strength...

Leon Hohenlohe

Leon was feeling nervous as his Gundam was waiting in the middle of a closed down highway. Alongside him to his right was another Gundam, painted in black and gold, watching the other units as they stood beside his own. To his left was another Gundam, one larger and more advanced than his own, clad in white and blue. Going through all the final checks, he wanted to make sure his unit would not have any problems. His Fire Control Computer was responding well, Generators were running at full efficency, Radiators working at an Optimal Level and Weapons were loaded and ready.

Finally the pilot of the Black and Gold Unit, 'Strung' would open a channel, his face appearing on the screens of both pilots.

"You two know the drill. This mission will test your abilities. The test is simple. What you two have to do is to destroy all Mobile Suits that have entered this area of the city."

The mission seemed simple enough, just kill everyone that wasn't him, his partner or the proctor.

"Should either of you or both of you succeed, you will be registered as a Raven in the Arena. If you fail, you die."

Leon knew the predicament, if his teacher told him. Such a rule was considered necessary to weed out and kill off the weak and bring in the strong.

Strung continued, "I'll accompany you as an observer, but only in that capacity. Keep this in mind." He would press a button, activating his radar. He detected 12 Mobile Suits along the Tunnel that the three of them were in, and fed the information to the two candidates.

"Here they are. Time to see what you two learned on Earth."

Leon, with a clear voice, said "Roger," before engaging the RX-78 for combat mode.

Strung finally spoke out. "Go straight along the road and clean them out." Leon activated his boosters and began to move forward. It wasn't long before the first Mobile Unit was sighted, a Bipedal Mobile Suit with twin Missile Launchers and a pair of 40-mm Machine Gun Arms on each arms, similar to those found on a Helicopter gunship. Because of the open environment, cover would be hard to come by. Acting quickly, Leon would fire a three round burst from his larger caliber assault rifle before the Suit could even get a lock on, the shot pierced through the missile bay, and detonated their warheads, causing a large explosion that heavily damaged the suit, putting it out of commission.

Briefing:
We have recently discovered the remains of an old Murakumo Carrier drifting close to the Martian surface. The ship had been abandoned shortly after the Subterranean-era Wars after the shit was hit by a rogue meteorite. As a result, only the bow of the ship remains intact, but has since been occupied by Emurade Forces.

We have suspicion to believe Emurade is searching the ship for important files that could be used against us. We can not afford to take any chances, therefore your objective is to destroy the Derelict Carrier.

The reactor is currently inactive, but it is believed to still possess a series of Nuclear Rods, planting a bomb there should cause a chain reaction large enough to destroy the ship.

When Emurade took control of the ship, they had also reactivated the weapons systems. But this should not pose too much of a threat for a Raven, we await your reply.

(OOC: Here is the opening post. I will leave it up to you two (Yu and Ironman) to decide whether you want to take the mission together or fight in the arena.)

Iglesias Vespertania

The final checklist showed all green. Hi Nu's generator reports optimal level and the weapons were fully loaded. Iglesias was ready for combat. Taking a few seconds, she glanced over to her side. Her partner for this mission/ test was a young man around the same age as her in a grey and white suit and their examiner was decked out in a more rugged black and gold coloured MS. The waiting was nerve wracking and when the examiner "Strung" came through the channel, Iglesias jumped a bit.

"You two know the drill. This mission will test your abilities. The test is simple. What you two have to do is to destroy all Mobile Suits that have entered this area of the city. Should either of you or both of you succeed, you will be registered as a Raven in the Arena. If you fail, you die."

So basically eliminate all hostile not marked as friendly. It was simple enough, considering that she only had two to keep an eye out for. Still, Strung's emphasis on succeed or die was unsettling, but Iglesias had to slap herself out of it. She was a Vespertania, a proud line of warriors and soldiers. She cannot be scared to take risk and disgrace herself and her family.

"I'll accompany you as an observer, but only in that capacity. Keep this in mind. Here they are. Time to see what you two learned on Earth."

When 12 suits lit up on the radar, Iglesias knew this was it. Sink or swim. Flicking all safety's off, Iglesias reported in and warmed up the afterburners and thrusters.

Affirmative.

"Roger,"

"Go straight along the road and clean them out."

Both suits made their way forward, going a fair distance with their thrusters. It was a straight tunnel, so going down at high speed wasnt too big of an issue. When the first target came within sight, Leon open fired. Instead of stopping and joining in on firing, Iglesias continued forward to close the gap. Her large caliber machine gun would be most effective at closer range due to the rapid firing nature. As their first contact's missile bay exploded and disabled the suit, Hi Nu slid behind the bulk and used the now out of commissioned robot as cover. The tunnel was rather open and they were within firing position of two additional suits. Iglesias had to cover Leon so that he could leapfrog forward. Angling the Hi Nu's shield for increase ricochet, she sidled out slightly and open fire. As expected, without cover, the 100mm rounds tore through the torso of the suit and forced the second to weave about and fall back slowly with his own bullets.

Mr Hohenloe. Move up. I'll try and keep him occupied.

Data Download Complete... Gundam Qant's Pilot Notified

"Hmm... A Search and Destroy Mission.." Aaron Reads the Mission Briefing Carefully.

"Enemy Forces, Bomb Planting, and Armaments still active.. Looks like a perfect mission for Qant.." He laughed a little before getting prepped, he suits up and grabs the explosive material to set a bomb, then gets inside Qants Cockpit and awaits transport.

Time passes, Qant & Aaron are approaching their target.

"Qant Arriving at destination, prepare for deployment... I repeat Arriving at destination, prepare for deployment."

Aaron sits up and gets to his controls within a few minutes the carrier drops Qant outside the Mission Area.

"Aaron Sohm.... Gundam Qant... Mission Start!" Qant activates its GN Drive and boosts forward towards the ships location.

Qant is almost at the ships location when the radar pings 3 enemy suits.

2 in front and 1 coming in from behind seems like the search party had armed guards prepared for any interlopers, Qant sees the 1 rear unit close in seems like it has a beam saber in hand, Qant turns and boosted towards the lone suit and met it blade to blade, the enemy suit was able to match Qants power, Qant relaxed itself and let the attack through, it then turns and slices off its arm, the arm falls and slams into the mars surface causing dust to rise before the enemy suit could counter Qant sliced through the midsection of the enemy suit causing it to explode.

"Not bad... They actually planned a attack for anyone coming to stop their mission.." Aaron Smiled and Switched the GN Sword to GN Sword Rifle mode, it aims and waits for the other suits to approach, the one on the right moved forward first and shoots the cockpit destroying the suit, the one of the left side steps behind a large boulder, Instead of wasting Energy it launched the Sword Bits from the Shoulder mounted shield the 6 bits fly behind the boulder and rip through the suits arms and legs rendering it useless, the bits return to Qants shield.

Qant Moves towards the disabled suit and sees the Pilot running from it, Qant aims its rifle towards the Pilot and fires a beam leaving nothing but a small burnt crater.

"Let's see how many enemies are stationed here..." Aaron Spoke.

Qant Kneels down and opens its cockpit, Aaron takes the zipline down and checks the enemy suits cockpit, he hacks the suits CPU and finds out there are 6 more enemy suits surveying the area and seems like they are guarding a small ship carrying 2 Researchers.

"So I'll have more enemies coming along with some researchers... I hope I can get there before they do.."

He quickly returns to Qants cockpit and begins to head towards the Remains of the Ship.

Theme- Op

Rhodesia sat in the cockpit of her custom Gundam Sinanju. Standing at the edge of the entryway to the main room as the pilot of that mobile suit would be waiting for his chance to prove himself in the arena. With a minute left on the time, she would open the com link, revealing herself, wearing her colorful mask, and keeping her inner face well hidden. The hissing sounds of her inhaling and exhaling was light, as if she was wearing a gas-mask of sorts. She spoke, "Your objective is to eliminate all Mobile Suits within this area of the testing facility." She spoke matter-of-factly, not sugar-coating the matter. "Your success will mark your registry as a Raven in the Arena. Your failure will warrant your immediate execution."

Sinanju walked towards the switch that would open the door. "I will serve as an observer, but only in that role. Keep that in mind." The timer switched on, and Rhodey's unit activated the switch, opening the door as 6 full-sized mobile suits, all autonomous came to life in front of them. "Begin the examination."

The sounds of battle occuring outside the ship could be easily seen by the two researchers on the small ship nearby. "Dammit, we don't have enough time. Let's take what we can and head back to Mars." One of the researchers spoke in a thick French accent. The other one, a female spoke into the comm links of the leader of the Brigade. "Hold off the Raven until reentry, we can not afford him to destroy this valuable information." The commander spoke out. "Understood, all units form into groups of three, if you get in sight of the Raven, do not hesitate to eliminate him, is that understood?"

"Roger"
The men all spoke in unison, as they moved into formation, assuming that the Raven was about to strike at the Research Team.

Theme-Opinion of the Way

Mr Hohenloe. Move up. I'll try and keep him occupied.

"Roger, moving up." Leon said as he saw the two units fire their twin Machine Guns in bursts, despite the small calibur, they still packed quite a punch if hit enough. But with Lady Vespertania holding them down with suppressive fire from her own MG, one unit exploded while the other was forced to pull ball, quickly moving his unit backwards, and opening up the units missile bays. Leon responded by opening up his Gundam's Missile Bay, and held a lock on the unit. His lock-on rate was much faster than the enemy, and he would be able to fire off two missiles from his shoulder-mounted launcher, homing in on the Mobile Suit. The unit would be hit, once in the torso, the other in the missile pack, causing an explosion that vaporized the suit. Strung watched on the cameras that he was able to hack in, and look at the combatants as they fought. He hummed to himself, watching as the two of them eliminated the first quarter of units.

"Let's move."
Leon said calmly, as he activated the Gundam's boosters, moving his suit down the road, where another group of three were located around the corner. "Three suits around the corner, how should we go through this, Ms. Vespertania?"

Christopher Walker piloting:
XXXG-01D Deathscythe.

+In…Out…In…Out. His lungs fill with air, his chest presses up and down hastily. To even suggest confidence would be a folly. Yet, pseudo- calm mind frames can generally give a very, very good impression. His Radio buzzed, his apparent proctor’s words weren’t completely heeded upon. Of course, he knew the mission… But aside from the simplistic request, he wasn’t even paying attention. Perhaps this silence was good. It fit the character of both himself and that monstrous Suit of his. +

+The mission was definitely simple enough: take out the mobile suits within the vicinity. But, why was he so nervous? Chris couldn’t fathom the reasons. He’d ran through the different set up and commands for the Deathscythe, he’d practised his form with his Scythe, he’d maintained the jammers at their optimum levels… But, he’d never been in a real combat situation… had he? Was this the reason? Christopher knew he’d have to push that from his thoughts. The world has had many examples of how doubt was the downfall of one man’s empire; Christopher couldn’t let that happen to himself today. +

+And then, it was time to begin. Deathscythe’s sensors picked up an estimate of six enemy mobile suits, the targets’ source was unknown. The odds of six to his singular Deathscythe would’ve been scary for some- and, even if he couldn’t admit it to himself, Christopher was one of that group. Still, he pressed on. He initialised Deathscythe’s main OS and, without a hint of a bug, the suit came to life. It stood from the kneeled position it had been in and- with a second delay- its jammers were activated. It was time for Christopher to get to work. +

+He activated the DS’s thrusters and shot out of the doorway, his movements cloaked by the twin Hob Jammers attached to the Suits back. Chris’s heart raced, as he took the Deathscythe to the left in a flank-styled manoeuvre. The world slowed down as the DS drew its siginature Beam Scythe.+

+The laser hissed slightly in the air as Chris then pulled the DS into a hook-turn and- without the slightest of hesisitant hands- swiped the Scythe in a horizontal manner. The Jammers disengaged as the attack began and the DS would’ve probably been picked up, but it was too late for the left most suit to react, as its body was already bisected. The next stage followed fluidly, almost like water flowing from a stream. Christopher used the DS’s thrusters and shoulder to knock the above-waist section of the sliced MS into the main group- in a “shock and awe” styled attempt at breaking the formation of the suits.+

+The tactic seemed to have some success, as Christopher knocked the central units out of sync. The cross-fire began from the frontal and rear suits with minimum delay and rounds ricocheted from the DS’s hull. It didn’t cause much damage, but Christopher knew the deal- he had to get out of there to maintain a presence. He was still outgunned, after all. Speedily, Christopher backed off and pulled back, re- engaging the Jammers without missing a beat. +

“…Trial mission accepted… Deathscythe, active and ready.”

The ship had been abandoned shortly after the Subterranean-era Wars after the shit was hit by a rogue meteorite.

Stephen looked at the monitor that showed the mission brief, he was in the Freedom running some system checks, checking to make sure the Freedom was fully operational. Smirking he glanced over the crew who were going on the mission, himself and Aaron Sohm, "shouldn't be to hard" Stephen muttered as he accepted the mission and headed towards the mission zone, the Freedom's miniature Nuclear reactor gave the suit an almost limitless battery life. as he approached the Battlezone, he noticed that Aaron was already there and had taken down 3 suits, he loaded up the comm system and tried to reach his co-worker. "Aaron Sohm, come in, we have incomings, a group of 4 by the looks of it on radar, I am heading to intercept, join me when you get the chance to" Stephen announced hoping that Aaron received the comm.

the Freedom spun and pointed it's beam rifle, firing off some warning shots in the direction of the Enemy suits before engaging the boosters of the Freedom and flying straight for them, Scanning the targets, regular mass produced suits, a simple challenge really, as the enemy combatants entered targeting range Stephen smirked, raising the beam rifle and firing three shots at the first, removing the head and both arms at the joints, switching to the Lacerta beam saber, the Freedom took off the enemies legs at the knee, leaving the suit to fall to the planet immobilized launching up vertically the Freedom barely avoided an incoming rocket from one of the other three suits, the Xiphias rail cannons flipping into position from the hips, they charged for around 10 Seconds before gaining weapon lock and firing both cannons taking off it's right leg and the most part of the enemy suits left side of the torso, again leaving nothing for the enemy suit to do but concede, the pilot taking off on Foot.

Stephen spun around and was struck by a low calibre missile to the shield, blocking the missile moments before i struck the torso, leaving the shield a bit battered but still functional, "damn, that could have been bad" Stephen muttered as he aimed with the beam rifle, firing off a shot and taking off one of the legs of the enemy suit.

OOC: I am going to assume we are now off the highway and within the town where there is building cover? Im also going to take it and make it that they are around the left corner. And facepalm. I just read through my personality tab, and it seems the parts i did change from the original bio didnt save.

The maneuver was a success as Leon moved up under the suppressive fire. The dead mech that Iglesias took cover behind proved useful as a shield, eating up the bullets that flew her way. Using the momentum of the leapfrog tactic, the duo pushed their opponents back, with one falling under machine gun fire and the other retreated, attempting to shoot its missiles at them. In such open area, there wasnt much area to hide behind, so whoever let off their salvo first was going to be in a really good position. Fortunately, Leon's lock on rate was faster and when his missiles hit, the enemy suit vaporised. That was a good four units down within the first few minutes.

Good job Mr Hohenlohe. Great start.

"Let's move."

Following suit, Iglesias opened her thrusters to glide after her partner near the end of the road.

"Three suits around the corner, how should we go through this, Ms. Vespertania?"

They're a bit far. My MG wouldn't be too effective at this range.

Whilst Iglesias had no question that her bullets would reach the suits. Its just whether enough of them would land in a tight enough grouping to be effective. Considering there was still a lot of them remaining, it was best to wipe them out in one fell swoop, small group by small group. There were

If you can pin them down and keep them occupied, i can flank around the buildings on our left side (so if they are looking at us, it will be their right) and mow down at least one at close range. When they turn to me, hopefully both, you can come down on them.

Right after her suggestion, Iglesias mind fell into insecurity and self doubt that has plagued her entire life. Was she ahead of herself? Was the plan even sound? In a now mosquito like voice, she stuttered

I..I mean, that might work..though... im not sure too well.... How about you? Any ideas?

Aaron Sohm & Gundam Qant

After Aaron got back inside the cockpit of Qant he heard something over the Raven Comm device.

"Aaron Sohm, come in, we have incomings, a group of 4 by the looks of it on radar, I am heading to intercept, join me when you get the chance to" He heard his partner Stephen on the com.

"I suppose that's my partner for the mission, I hope he's as good as his rank suggests.." He said with grimmace fearing he'd have to save him if he walked into a ambush.

"Meh... Enough Sulking if I don't get to work he'll get all the credit.." He said to himself, he scanned the area and found Freedom near his current location.

As he approached he noticed Stephen and Freedom in combat with other suits he managed to deal with 3 and let the pilots escape.

"Letting them Live... He's soft.. They'll just learn his combat style later and kill him for his weakness.." He sighed again.

He saw a suit on a large boulder using it as cover as it wields a large bazooka aiming it at Stephen who hasn't noticed him yet, Qant aims the beam rifle at the bazooka and fires blowing up the weapon and the explosion destroying the suits right hand, before it could react Qant boosted up and rose its sword slamming it down cutting the suit in half down the middle.

Once done and the area scan is complete he opens the com link to Stephen again.

"Hey Stephen, try not to show so much mercy... It'll end up being your end, they'll learn how Freedom works and use your kindheartedness against you. I don't really want to kill these guys either but I'd rather them not learn of my Gundams Weaknesses or Strengths" Aaron had a Lecturing tone to his voice this time.

Emurade Forces

"What the, another one?"
The commander shouted at the screen as each of his men were picked off by this new unit. Activating the units Gatling Gun, the weapon sped up before shooting his rounds at the Freedom, activating his arm-mounted Energy Shield in case the unit closed in for an attack. He was not going to be done and out just yet. "Get some, Raven!!!" He shouted, continuing to fire his 80-mm, vacuum-sealed Rounds in Freedom's direction.

Meanwhile within the Carrier itself, the automated defense turrets came active. Two were mounted on the ceiling, while another 2 were on the door, all shooting at Qant with 90-mm Machine Gun Rounds.

----
Rhodesia Saravejo & the Concord OpFor Forces

As the Deathscythe entered the area of operations, the 6 mobile units began to activate their weapons and their boosters. They were flyers, lightly armed with 55-mm Sub Machine Guns, and a wing compartment on their back to allow them to remain airborne for periods of time. Tough opponents if only for their superb agility. But the Deathscythe proved to be faster as it quickly sliced through the left most unit, and swatted the torso at the formation, forcing them to break formation. Two of the units try to revert to dual formation as they fired upon the Gundam, only for their lock to be trashed by the units jammers.

Rhodesia was not impressed by the matter, although the pilot showed considerable promise, any capable pilot could defeat 6 autonomous drones.

Leon Hohenlohe

If you can pin them down and keep them occupied, i can flank around the buildings on our left side (so if they are looking at us, it will be their right) and mow down at least one at close range. When they turn to me, hopefully both, you can come down on them.

"Understood. Let's do it." Leon said calmly. "Be ready to flank them when I have them pinned down." With that, Leon activated the Gundam's boosters, letting him move quickly enough to fire upon the three with his assault rifle. It kept them distracted, and they suffered light damage at best as the leading unit fired it's missiles. Leon would quickly move to the closest building to dodge them, but one of the missiles destroyed his assault rifle, leaving him without a primary weapon of sorts.

It was a relief for Iglesias when Leon agreed with her plan. She moved Hi Nu over leftwards to the side of the building while her partner moved towards to corner, preparing to lay down some suppressive fire. When, in her rear camera, she spotted Leon fire up his boosters to move out, Iglesias opened up her own and blasted down the other side. The windows shattered from the thrust from her boosters, but there was no time for subtlety. The faster she could get to them, the less Leon would have to face three suits. She was not quiet was an understatement, but it paid off. By the time one of the units turned to see what was coming down on the other side of the buildings, Iglesias had reached where they were and blasted at close range between two buildings. With one down, Iglesias continued to move down the buildings so she could emerge from behind them from a side street. Two versus two was much more even and Iglesias tried to hold their attention as much as possible by firing her vulcan guns through the office block windows. They sparked pitifully off the hull armour, but she wished it at least annoyed them for long enough for Leon to come help.

One unit is down. I'm now moving in behind them.

One unit is down. I'm now moving in behind them.

"Roger, moving to engage now." Leon said, pulling the beam saber from his shoulder and activating it, creating a brilliant orange blade. It was now his only main weapon left beside his missile launcher, now that his assault rifle had been destroyed, boosting to the side of the building once Iglesias began distracting the enemy. With quick maneuvering, Leon's Gundam would quickly sidestep and boost towards the enemy units, two of them turning their attention to the Hi Nu. It only took a matter of seconds, but Leon would get the jump on both of them, plunging his beam saber on one of the units, piercing it's torso. The fatally damaged unit would be pushed into the second unit, where Leon's Gundam launched a pair of small missiles, destroying the damaged unit, and heavily damaging the other to the point of it being disabled.

"Okay, all targets are destroyed, but I lost my Assault Rifle. I guess I am going to have to resort to using my remaining missiles for support from here on out." Leon said, as he would get back on the main highway. Half of the targets were destroyed, and according to the radar, the remainder consolidated into one large group of 6. They seemed to be guarding an area that was blocked off according to the radar, outside of the operation area. "Let us move." Leon said as the Gundam began to move forward down the highway.

----
Pilots: Leon Hohenlohe and Iglesias Vespertania

Their opponents seemed less than disciplined and not quite well trained as Iglesias thought. Any professional soldier would have split their attention to both. Cover both approach. If it was up to her, one would pin her from rounding the corner and the other would focus their attention on Leon, who seemed to lost his ranged weapon. In such a straight approach, he would have been easy picking if they were competent. Since that wasn't the case, one was run through by Leon and then thrown into the second unit before launching a salvo at them.

"Okay, all targets are destroyed, but I lost my Assault Rifle. I guess I am going to have to resort to using my remaining missiles for support from here on out."

With the area cleared, Iglesias led Hi Nu out from the side street and reloaded her machine gun, right behind leon as they reached back towards the highway. Radar and body count reported listed six suits remaining, congregating around a point and guarding an area.

"Let us move."

Their situation was a bit more dire now. They were expected and Leon didnt have his rifle with him.

Well, they seem to be expecting us now and seem adamant in guarding that area. We lack long range capabilities and is outnumbered 3 to 1. Any ideas or plans you have while we are en route?

The situation was pretty slim. With the remaining units converged on one area, it made any chance of direct engagement impossible. All the angles were covered and both units only had weapons meant for support. Strung, who was watching the discussion unfold, said over the comm to the two Testees, "So, are you just going to give up or what?" His Gundam, the Judas Custom pointed its Bazooka right at Leon’s Gundam.

Leon wasn’t going to give up just yet. “I need you to cover me. I’ll go in with my beam saber, try to dodge as much of their fire as I can. While I get their attention, you go and take them out one by one.”

Aaron Sohm & Gundam Qant

Before He could hear Stephens Response to his words, the sensors on Qant detect fire from the carrier.

"Tch more pests..." He scoffed at the firing.

Qant charges towards the Carrier, the 90-mm bullets occasionally hit only to slightly knock off its course, Qant raised its GN Sword and switched to rifle mode, as soon as the mode change was complete Qant fires 2 round towards the doors destroying the guns.

"Two more...!" He yelled out before forcing Qant to do a immediate boost into the air, it launches 2 sword bits towards the guns, each bit landed a hit and destroyed the guns on the ceiling.

"There... Just how well prepared are these guys... This doesn't seem like just some run of the mill data recovery mission..."

The mission had to go on, his trials and tribulations must continue until the final suit falls to the floor, inoperable. He had to finish this, he had to make an impression. He had one shot: and Christopher intended to make it count as much as he possibly could. Without the slightest hesitation, he brought the DS back around to his starting position and then, Christopher took the slightest second to decide his next state of action:

These drones could have an adaptive AI, meaning that a flank may be out of his choices for the meantime. On the other hand, the DeathScythe may be tough but Christopher knew that it couldn’t take all of that firepower head-on. This called for a new tactical choice. Without fear, Chris took action, with his plan half formulated. With the Jammer already in action, he decided to take a high route: The AI’s seemed to take something of a defensive formation, like the “turtle shell” tactic. The shields would be used in the same situation, Christopher knew that element of surprise- along with the usage of the DS’s beam scythe- could cut a hole from the top.

He kicked the thrusters into overdrive, blasting the DS upwards. He then fell down to Mars, waiting till the last minute to kick the scythe into action. The blade was the first thing to make contact, cutting at the steal of the central drone’s shield, but the drone itself remained relatively unharmed. The impact of the DS’s foot- however- forced a stumble from the suit standing to the right side. Christopher used this to his advantage, squeezing the DS into the opened space. From there, he changed forward, using the scythe’s main body as a clothes line to force the rear guard away. The pole was jammed at the neck of the enemy MS’s. This was followed by a left-side pull of the beam scythe’s handle- decapitating these two Mobile Suits.

But, this risky tactic had its price: The remaining drones were able to get a lock on the Deathscythe, as the jammers needed to be disengaged. The Deathscythe came under fire from the remaining three drones, the left shoulder receiving light damage from enemy fire. Christopher decided against a retreat: time to finish this.

Christopher spun the Deathscythe around, activating the thrusters without skipping a beat. The Deathscythe held it’d weapon in its left hand- the hum of the blade almost muted by the clash of steal and bullets. The DS sped towards the left sided drone, thrusters full blast. Christopher attempted a diagonal upwards cut, his aim being bisection.

But, it failed. The drone dodged the slice with ease, then landed a pistol-whip bash against the DS. In retaliation, Christopher swiftly engaged the machine cannons against this enemy, while releasing the projectile buster shield from the DS. It embedded deeply into the chest area of the central unit. Christopher then finished this by pulling the embedded suit toward the DS in a shielding tactic.

However, he wasn’t done yet. Christopher booted the drone from the DS’s buster shield towards the final drone. The drone dodged the tactic- jumping to the left- but Christopher reacted accordingly. He boosted the DS straight at the drone and caught it right in the “Stomach” area with horizontal scythe beam. He then pulled it away, leaving a clean bisection.

“M-Mission… C-complete…”

Christopher panted, his body exhausted from the battle. He’d underestimated the G’s he’d receive in the DeathScythe’s cockpit and suffered for it: His nose was pouring blood. The DeathScythe itself was in worse shape than it probably should be: The right side limbs sustained moderate projectile damage and the Scythe’s head had been dented fairly well, while Christopher himself burnt out the thrusters severely. All in all, not very impressive by his own standards.

“I *pant* knew I should have calibrated the controls beforehand… It was sloppy.”

“I need you to cover me. I’ll go in with my beam saber, try to dodge as much of their fire as I can. While I get their attention, you go and take them out one by one.”

It is a sound plan. Judging by their skill level, if we spring a surprise on them, we should be able to panic them enough to deal with a majority of their force before they realise what hit them. However, if its possible, can you lead in and grab the attention of at least four of their suits? When most of their attention is on you, I'll push my gundam into over drive and go wide flank for the remaining two. If i take them out, a few of them would turn back onto me and we can split it evenly.

It was a pretty risky plan. It all rested on momentum, the skill level of their opponent and Leon's own skill in evasive maneuvers. In the worst situation, Leon would have a hard time approaching them and be held off by two whilst she gets besieged by the rest. Igelsias pulled up the ammunition status for her suit. One magazine on her hip, one in the gun, five micro missiles in the shield and her CQC weapons. It all rested on how she was to use these missiles.

Ok. I am moving over leftwards to their flank. Begin when you're ready and ill move in when the chance opens up.

Leading with deliberate scare and slowness, Iglesias guided Hi NU westward. The further she attacked from Leon, the more she could surprise the enemies and get the jump on them. Her thrusters throbbed as she let it idle, prepping it up for high intensity thrust and prepared to use her afterburners. Fuel be damned. They were on land and this was it. She either passed the exam and become part of the Raven's or get taken out by the enemies or by the examiner.

Emurade Forces:

With that, all resistance ceased, any enemy soldiers who were within the area had left. Their mission was not a complete disaster, as they managed to get some of the data before they were attacked by a Raven. All that was left to do at this point was to destroy the carrier's core and escape...

Rhodesia Saravejo
Raven Test (Alternate)

Rhodesia saw the commotion go on from within the area. The pilot was unorthodox indeed, rapidly depressurizing the area, and bringing his targets with him. Fortunately, she prepared for such an eventuality, as she switched the cameras to around the vicinity, watching the units close in to attack. Despite the attacks connecting to some degree, the unmanned units were eventually cut down as the Deathscythe descended towards the Martian surface, near the Barreld Desert in Central Mars. Rhodesia opened a channel to Christopher, the trainee in question.

“M-Mission… C-complete…”

"Your form of combat is unorthodox."
She said in a deadpan monotone voice.

“I *pant* knew I should have calibrated the controls beforehand… It was sloppy.”

"It is unimportant. You have still achieved your Mission Objective. From this moment forward, you are a Raven."
Rhodesia spoke to the man. "Stand by while a Transport arrive to pick up your Gundam to transport you to a Nerves Concord Base."

Leon nodded and began to activate his boosters, as well as his beam saber and began to charge at the group of six. The enemy began to fire their chain-link machine guns in his direction, and despite some skillful dodging, the Gundam suffered some damage to the arms and torso. One round just barely reaching the cockpit frame, though Leon still felt the full force of that. Nonetheless, he still reached his intended targets, slicing through one of the mobile suits in the arms, damaging the unit. He would then follow up by twirling it back and impaling a unit behind him, which would leave it intact but kill its pilot. Moving to the side, he would toss the fatally damaged frame towards another group of two, which would cripple their capability.

He can only hope Iglesias could come to bail him out before things get a little too hairy for even him.

Iglesias moved as fast as she possibly dared. Too fast and she would pop up on motion sensors and blow the plan. If they managed to suppress her at the buildings, then Leon would be out in the open and a sitting duck. Each second ticked by in slow motion as Hi Nu made for its waypoint, but time wasn't so merciful. Leon was under a tremendous barrage from the six enemy units and if Igelsias didn't sweep in right now, then there was a high probability that he would be taken out.

Tch, here we go then.

A quick twist of her wrist and her foot to the pedal, Hi Nu turned and kicked off its thrusters. The robot raised its shield as it descended upon the enemy, acquiring a lock on before releasing all five micro missiles. Once the last projectile left the tube, Iglesias lowered and angled her shield against the potential return fire as she closed the distance, accompanied by a barrage of her own. Of the five missiles, both enemy units received hits. One taking two hits and was reduced to a critical state, while the other had superficial damages, mostly to optics. The last of the missile was shot down by a third unit. However, it was enough. Hi Nu was close enough to properly engage with her machine gun. Rather than waste time gunning down the crippled unit, Iglesias shield bashed it aside and concentrated on the one that was lightly wounded. The pilot put up a fight and opened unaimed fire at her. Its heavy bullets battered into the shield, but luckily, with his optics out, it was unable to concentrate fire. Still, parts of her shield was beginning to break and without a second to lose, Igleisas planted the barrel of her gun right up into the cockpit and let loose. The third unit which shot down her missile took at at her but was thankfully knocked over by a dead MS thrown by Leon. Seizing the opportunity, Iglesias blasted both immobilised enemy. In effect, the missino was over. Leon had taken out three suits and she herself one with the other two assisted by Leon. The last damaged suit was still alive, but completely harmless. Doing a quick diagnostics, Hi Nu had suffered several stray shots to her limbs and her shield was in shambles. More or less, she came through unscathed, all things considered. Motioning to the last surviving tango, Iglesias patched open a line to Leon

Well, thats it i think. This last guy is harmless. What should we do with him?

The MS crackled and fizzed, its limb jerked and twitched as power still coursed through the cables.

Aaron Sohm & Gundam Qant

Qant finished off the few more units before sending a transmitted message to Freedom.

"I'm moving on, I'll be going inside, finish up asap.."

Aaron Knew this was just a small force to keep them from reaching the ship, Qant knelt down in order for Aaron to jump down to the ground, he then used the voice command to put Qant in it auto-defense mode. Aaron then ran inside the Ship.

"Alright... Hopefully there aren't too many guards in here..."

Just as he says this he hears footsteps, He quickly looks around and sees a air vent, he pulls the grate off and jumps in closing it just in time as the soldiers come around the corner.

"Man wish those researchers would move their asses... Those 2 gundams have been decimating our troops, this information is costing our army some of its best pilots.."

"So there spread out pretty thin.. Good, makes killing them and destroying this damn ship that much easier.."

He decides to move through the Air Ducts towards the information center of the ship, once he kills the researchers he can destroy the engine and kill the rest of the soldiers inside.

Well, thats it i think. This last guy is harmless. What should we do with him?

Leon had suffered just a small cut on his shoulder, but otherwise came out in one piece. All units were taken out, though there was still the matter of the last unit. Although the unit was still functioning, the pilot was obviously still alive, and the frame well intact.

"Let him live, The pilot is of no threat to us."
Leon said calmly. Soon thereafter, both he and Iglesias would receive a message from Strung. "Not bad. Your combined skills are impressive." He spoke bluntly, while he disagreed with the idea of letting the pilot live, it was not his place to question the pilot's decision. "Congratulations, from this moment forward, you two are Ravens."

Judas' boosters activated, "We will be sending the both of you the coordinates to Nerves Concord HQ, you will receive further instructions upon your arrival." With that he began to boost out, heading for the nearest starport to send him back to base, his job complete. Leon however move to open a channel to Iglesias, "Looks like we've passed, huh?" Leon said with a light smile, despite the pain he was feeling.
