Lan Ester and Remilia Oveilia

"W-where are the sign ups for the Festival?"

Lan picked up on the question.

"Talk with Princess Eiko. She should sign you up. I think there was some sign up sheets near the air cabs." Lan muttered before leaving Remilia to take the air cab.

Remilia turned to see the air cab leave the area with Lan in it. Turning back to the girl she is currently hugging, Remilia smiled as she placed her on the ground.

"The green guy don't look like it, but he's not one to hurt a girl unless he is forced to. His name is Lan Ester. Oh. My name is Remilia Oveilia." Remilia said while patting the girl on the head.

Annelise Steiner

"Then believe in yourself, believe in me, believe in everyone. Have faith in the people around you to be your strength in this, you have all of us still right? Even if you did lose Gisale you have the rest of your friends and we all have faith and belief in you just like you do in us, right? Sure we might not always get along, but we can count on each other to watch our backs. So don't feel down because of this, you have all of us supporting you just like you support us"

"Ricard..." Anne could feel her heart pounding, as if it were trying bust out of her chest as he began to put his hand on her shoulder.

"And if that's too much to start, why not begin with faith in me? Maybe to show you can trust me i'll... Return the favour from before"

Anne closed her eyes as their lips met for a kiss. It was as if their hearts were beating in unison, just like back in that bedroom in Burmecia. Once they broke off the kiss, Anne blushed, her face bright red with shyness. "So... I hope you can trust me"

Anne nodded at his remark before saying, "I trust you Ricard, and thank you." She slowly began to walk out of the hollow trunk, but she then turned around to say something. "Let's go back. I don't want my friends to worry about me anymore."

Atalanta Palaiologos

"Robert Crescent of Burmecia."

Atalanta nodded as she looked on at the one he called Lucia.

"Please, just leave me alone, right now I just need to think"

"Lucia, look. I know we aren't exactly on the best terms with each other, but we're still comrades. If something's troubling you, I want to help if I can."

"I'm sorry but... This is something that cannot be solved with words"

Atalanta frowned as she said that. She sighed, "It's about that white haired woman, isn't it?" She moved forward and once again put her hand on her shoulder. "Well, if it makes you feel better, why don't you come hang out with me and my 'sis.' I bet I can help you with your problems that way?"

The Twinsword

"S-so sorry master... It won't happen again"

"Master...?" Twinsword said, a part of her confused, a part of her a bit peeved. She hated the word master, never liked it one bit. In all honesty she was worried, scared of her past. Perhaps that's why she was loyal to Cyril for a time...

"Please...don't call me 'master', Vanessa." Twinsword said calmly, trying not to sound sad at all.

"Twinny. She's cute. Who is she?"

Twinny looked up and saw Remilla, who came and went to lift the girl up. "Her name is Vanessa. I was about to..." Before Twinsword could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by Lan who had his hood up.

"I'm going to go find Brandish now and wait for the Festival to start."

Watching Vanessa cower and look away, she said to Lan. "Alright, if you're meeting Brandish, give her my regards." She then turned to Vanessa who then asked the simple question. "W-where are the sign ups for the Festival?"

"What?" Twinny looked surprised and shocked. "You can't possibly be considering signing up for the Festival of the Hunt? That is madness!"
 
"I trust you Ricard, and thank you." She slowly began to walk out of the hollow trunk, but she then turned around to say something. "Let's go back. I don't want my friends to worry about me anymore."

Smiling in return, Ricard walked over and took Annelise's hand before starting to walk with her back to Lindblum, Ricard then muttered under his breath "Just remember, you're not alone here"

"Well, if it makes you feel better, why don't you come hang out with me and my 'sis.' I bet I can help you with your problems that way?"

Lucia turned her head slightly to look at the woman, in truth she did feel she needed a woman to talk to and none among their number felt quite so comforting to be around. Nodding slightly she walked past Robert and Atalanta and waited outside, keeping her head facing the ground.

"And I'm Alleria, hello there,"

Vanessa lightly smiled in reply as she got placed back on the ground softly. "The green guy don't look like it, but he's not one to hurt a girl unless he is forced to. His name is Lan Ester. Oh. My name is Remilia Oveilia."

"Hello, you ladies are both pretty" Vanessa announced with a bow.

"You can't possibly be considering signing up for the Festival of the Hunt? That is madness!"

Vanessa almost jumped out of her skin at Twin Sword's reaction before lowering her head again shyly "I-it's not for me,but my... Ma- I mean, sis" remembering Atalanta's displeasure of being referred to as her superior.
 
Gisale Wettin-Gesalios

Gisale took an aircab that led to the Business District, her thoughts and feelings still weighing down on her mind, but she didn't want to make Lucia feel inadequate. Rather she just didn't want to see her die because of a problem that she prevented to happen. Something that was hers to blame.

Once she left the gate, Gisale walked down the stairs and went across the street to the inn.

"Good evening ma'am. Your room is ready for you." The clerk said

"Thank you." Gisale began heading up the steps to her room.

Annelise Steiner

The two of them would leave the Pinnacle Rocks, looking over the city of Lindblum. At night it was a wondrous sight. Many new innovations and marvels were always being built here. No wonder why it was called the Grand Castle, it in itself an innovative defense against a land-based assault. This was before the advent of Airships.

Continuing her movement, Anne headed down to the Grassy plains on the plateau between the Rocks and the city itself before entering the city.

(OOC: Short post to try and keep it going. I'll wait for Fratley to post with Freya before I continue with Zidane)
 
Aaron Sohm​

"...Well I'm bored now...Maybe I should try to find the sign up sheet on my own.."Groaning that no one seems to be at the castle at the moment he gets up off the bed and walks outside the room he hears a few guards below him talking.

"Hey..Happen to know what they did with the Sign up sheet for the Festival..?"The first guard asked

"Oh right it's been moved around so much today,I think someone left it at the Air Cab's why are you gonna sign up..?"The second guard responded

"I was thinking on it..Why?"He asked with a nervous sound in his voice.

"I heard they have some real nasty beasts this year and a bunch of hunter's have joined up this year I doubt you'll be able to keep up with them."The second guard responded once more but the first guard kept silent and sat on the couch to think if he will bother.

"...So at the Air Cab's then..?"Aaron spoke to himself before walking out and down the stair's passing more guards,he gets outside to the airship docks and heads down another flight of stairs to the Air Cab's luckily the Sign-Up sheet for the festival is still there.He picked up a pen and wrote his name down,he noticed that a few of the group signed up as well.

He sighed as he placed the pen on the desk where the sign up sheet was,He wondered what he should do now that he entered thinking about wasting energy would put him at a disadvantage so he begins to return to the room's to rest up for tomorrow.

((OOC:So many ways to sign up kinda wish it was more nailed down LOL XD))
 
Lan Ester

Lan got off the aircab and left the station. Looking around, the genome sighed as he started looking for a pub.

"At times like these, it would be simpler just to kill the problems without any repercussions." Lan muttered as he started walking towards the Lindblum entrance. As soon as he reached the entrance, he stopped as he saw Anne walking towards Lindblum.

"Anne..." Lan muttered knowing that it was about to get awkward.

Remilia Oveilia

"I-it's not for me,but my... Ma- I mean, sis"

Remilia was now curious on who Vanessa's sister was.

"Ohh. Then let's not keep her waiting. Let's get her signed up and you back to her as soon as we can." Remilia said as she grabbed Vanessa's hand as she half pulled half dragged Vanessa while looking for the sign up sheets.

Before Vanessa could make any protest Remilia took her hand and dragged her towards the Sign Up Sheets, trying her best to keep up with her. Spotting a single sheet of paper pinned to the wall Vanessa pointed towards it "Is that it?" trying to speak as loudly as her small voice allowed.
 
Freya Crescent
Sir Fratley​

Freya listened to Zidane and Garnet. There was at least something being done. "Well Garnet, my husband and I will do whatever you tell us to do. I trust your judgement." she spoke before smirking at Zidane. "Even if your husband's turning into a worrying mess." she teased.

"I'm sure you most likely have informed Queen Garnet of your actions. For now, Freya and I will be aiding in the defense of Alexandria until such a conflict comes to a resolve. From there we can take further action." he spoke before turning to head back to the throne room. "Take care of yourself." Fratley spoke before he left to return to the throne room.

Freya looked at her husband. He seemed like a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders and his mind. "So, what were you up to?" she teasingly asked. Fratley looked at her and simply smiled. "Just met an old friend. Seems like Oielvert will have some trouble to contend with outside of the Mist continent. However, rumors of Lindblum losing several naval battles has me a bit concerned." Fratley spoke, crossing his arms.

Freya furrowed her brows at the news. "If Oielvert has been attacking Lindblum's navy, that means they must also be the ones attacking our fishing and trade ships. But I think Robert and Annelise are in a better position to find out for themselves, hopefully before it's too late." she spoke.
 
Annelise Steiner

As they headed in the direction of the Air Cab station, she saw Lan coming down, seeing Anne.

"Anne..."

Anne looked away for a bit, a bit sad about the news he gave her, but remembering what Ricard said, she said "I'm sorry for the way I acted. Please accept my apologies." She bowed her head before standing back up.

The Twinsword

"Ohh. Then let's not keep her waiting. Let's get her signed up and you back to her as soon as we can."

As Remilla grabbed Vanessa's arm and took her over to the sign-up sheets, Twinsword shrugged her shoulders and followed her. It wasn't a far trip. Right by the aircab exits was a set of papers containing names with a quill on the side.

"Is that it?"

"Looks like it I guess." Twinsword said, walking up to the desk and began flipping through the pages, looking for an empty box for her to sign her name. Picking up the quill she printed her given name "There. Alright Vanessa, you can sign your sis up. Alleria, you better sign up too!"

Beatrix Steiner

"I'm sure you most likely have informed Queen Garnet of your actions. For now, Freya and I will be aiding in the defense of Alexandria until such a conflict comes to a resolve. From there we can take further action. Take care of yourself."

"Right" Beatrix said, "You do the same to, Sir Fratley." Beatrix herself turned around before walking the other way, moving to the harbor to reach the next ship to Iifa Port.

King Zidane of Alexandria

"Zidane, we can do this together. Don't look so worried... Alrighty?"

"Well Garnet, my husband and I will do whatever you tell us to do. I trust your judgement. Even if your husband's turning into a worrying mess."

"Aww, your words hurt me so." Zidane laughed a bit clutching his heart as if his heart was indeed wounded. Fratley appeared shortly thereafter

Lord Cyril, King of Oeilvert

The white haired Genome sat in the throne room of his Kingdom, he was slouching, his arm resting on the side of the throne and his hand, balled into a fist resting on his head. So far he has heard that Twinsword's betrayal, and yet he has yet to even see part one of his plan succeed. He had the patience to drag it out, he has the manpower for it, even if it came down to conscription. But for Oeilvert's King, he had one thing on his mind.

"Your Majesty" A guard ran to the center of the dimly lit throne room, bowing at his King. "Your Majesty, your airship is ready for your return to Cleyra."

Cyril moved his hand off. "Good. It's time I oversaw the final developments for the campaign myself." Slowly standing up, he thought to himself. "So I come face to face with the one who defeated Kuja once again. I will defeat him if I am to bring my Promised Land to life once more."
 
Robert Crescent​

Robert raised an eyebrow. "White-haired woman?" Robert asked. Of course that could mean any number of things. A grandmother, a friend who had white hair. Many Burmecians had white hair, his own mother being one. Still, there was still plenty of time, and he might learn more if he hung around. "Perhaps we should take this lady up on her offer, Lucia." Robert suggested.

Lan sighed as he rubbed the back of his head before looking at Anne.

"You don't think very often do you? If you remembered the letter I wrote to you when you were in Burmecia, I said that Brandish is becoming a traitor. Think for a second on that. She is a general of Oeilvert. Not Alexandria. Anyone who took the time gather all that information will see that she betrayed Oeilvert. Now, you have to return to the castle. You have a festival of the hunt to participate in and the impending invasion to deal with afterward. I have a few more things to deal with. One more thing, I suggest you split the group to cover the major areas of the castle. If I were the enemy, I would go after key areas of Lindblum. The airship yard would be a high priority. But I'll leave that up to you. Don't forget, when the invasion starts, don't hesitate for a second. Brandish may be a a mother figure to you, but she will not hold back. That goes the same to me and if I have to, I will kill you just to get a chance to kill Oeilvert's King." Lan muttered before he turned around and started walking into the city.
 
Atalanta Palaiologos

"White-haired woman?"

"Yeah...White hair, silver eyes, carries a big sword. You recognize any of that?" Atalanta crossed her arms as she looked at Robert. "By the way, names Atalanta. Atalanta Palaiologos."

"Perhaps we should take this lady up on her offer, Lucia."

Atalanta turned towards Lucia who was slowly walking away. "Come on, aren't you at least going to give me a chance? Don't knock it till you try it I always say!" Atalanta winked at Lucia, hoping to cheer her up a bit. Just watching her seem like this was depressing, almost like watching Vanessa perform her slave duties back in Treno.

Anne took the time to digest the information that Lan had stated, If what he said was true, then he probably signed her up for the Festival of the Hunt. She wasn't really intending to, but at this late hour, she no longer had a choice. "Alright then. If we ever fight, I will not hold back. But do your best to stay alive."

Watching Lan walk away into the city streets, Anne turned around to face Ricard. "Do you think it's safe, letting Lan risk his life behind enemy lines?"
 
Alleria

"There. Alright Vanessa, you can sign your sis up. Alleria, you better sign up too!"

Alleria already had the sign-up form in her hands as Twinsword spoke. After all, it was a chance to challenge the others. It would be totally out of character for her to go slow about obtaining this form. "Got it," she said, chuckling as she went on to put down her name using a quill pen beside the stack of forms.

Garnet

She knew what Zidane was thinking about from his face. She was thinking the same as well, and it was worrying - Zidane wasn't being worried for nothing. Still, there isn't much she can do for now but to make sure their defenses were secure.

Luia sighed somewhat as she heard that, truthfully she felt this Atalanta woman was the only one she could talk to but at the same time she didn't quite feel she could bare her soul to Robert at the same time. His intentions may be good but she also figured that after this it would be quite possible everyone else would hear of it, which could lead to pity, something Lucia did not want from them.

At the same time however she knew letting this sit was not a wise course of action, biting the bullet she turned around and approached Atalanta, placing her arms around her as her head rested in her bosom as she shut her eyes, resting against Atalanta before answering "Okay"

"Do you think it's safe, letting Lan risk his life behind enemy lines?"

"Safe for him? Probably not, however he's managed so far and we can't deny what he's learned to be of use, especially for you to know Gisale didn't die back there"

Ricard then gently placed a hand on her shoulder before moving it around her, pulling her gently to his chest "And don't worry, if it comes to you fighting Lan, i'll protect you, he'll have to go through me first"

"There. Alright Vanessa, you can sign your sis up. Alleria, you better sign up too!"

As Vanessa was about to sign up her 'sis', the woman called Alleria picked up the sign up sheet, being so much taller than Vanessa meant she couldn't see the sheet, much less write on it. Grabbing the woman's dress she gave it a few small tugs to try and get her attention before jumping up, trying to reach the sign up sheet.

"I need to sign up sis" she tried to speak up, though it was still rairly quiet.
 
She was adding the finishing strokes to her name as the little girl tugged at her dress. Although they were small tugs, it felt awkward and slightly annoying. Putting her completed form down, she looked over to the girl, who was now jumping in a miserable attempt to reach the forms. She failed miserably, but at least succeeded in conveying what she meant to do. Without paying attention to her explain what she was doing, Alleria reached out for the pile and passed it to the girl.

She also took a quill pen for the girl, giving her a forced half-smile.
 
Lan Ester

The streets soon found Lan at the inn in front of the aircab station. Pulling out some gold from his bag, Lan placed it on the counter as he asked for a room. Thankfully for him, the innkeeper nodded as he handed Lan a key to his room. The green robed genome nodded as he took the key and went to his room for the night. Entering and locking the door behind him, Lan sat down on the bed and sighed.

"One big fiasco tomorrow." Lan muttered as he took off his robe and tossed it to the ground. The bag followed as Lan dropped it before laying back on the bed.

Remilia Oveilia

Remlia was amused by the Vanessa and Alleria scene as she watched the whole thing happen. That amusement faded away as the fatigue from the spar set in. Yawning, Remilia decided to head over to the guest room area and take a look at it.

"Well Vanessa, I hope we can see you tomorrow. Come on Alleria, we gotta see those guest room beds." Remilia exclaimed as she walked off towards the guest room.

Aaron Sohm​

Aaron headed back to the guest room's in the castle to sleep till tomorrows Festival.He walk's up the staircase to the guest rooms and finally reaches the room,without looking around he finds the nearest bed that's empty and falls into it sighing loudly.

"There now I can finally relax..I really can't believe how sloppy the sign-up sheet was,took forever for me to find the blasted thing."He grumbled to himself slightly annoyed his ears go down and his tail that hangs from bed swishes left and right furiously.

((OOC:Short post but maybe now I can talk with some other people since it seems people are resting xD))
 
Remilia Oveilia

Soon enough, Remilia reached the guest bedroom. Stars could be seen in her eyes as she entered the room.

"It's just like I imagined it to be. My bedroom can't compare to this." Remilia whispered to herself.

"There now I can finally relax..I really can't believe how sloppy the sign-up sheet was,took forever for me to find the blasted thing."

Remilia walked up the stairs to see Aaron there as he rested in his bed. Smiling cutely, Remilia walked over to said genome and started to play with the now flattened ear.

"You seem annoyed with something." Remilia said playfully as she sat down on the bed beside aaron.
 
Aaron Sohm​

As he frustrates over that situation he didn't even notice that Remilia walked into the room,She knelt down to mess with his ears his mood got better since his ears are always his weak spot,he looks happier now that his ears were being rubbed.

"You seem annoyed with something."Remilia said to him.

"Yes I was till you started rubbing my ears"He laughed swishing his cat tail happily."I couldn't find the sign up sheet,made a fool of myself talking to a group I mistaked for ours,and I wasted most of my time resting and thinking on where they could put the sheet.

But I did find it eventually so I'm content now..Thanks for rubbing my ear's it calms my nerves and relaxes me.He said blushing slightly since he rarely tells anyone that fact but she was nice to him so he trusted her with that secret."So,are you here to rest like me or just taking a small break from the busy city?He asked twitching his ears more.
 
Atalanta Palaiologos

Atalanta smiled a bit as Lucia was starting to cheer up a bit. But a bit surprised as she landed her face in her bosom. All she could do was chuckle a bit and erap one arm around her, patting her on the back. "It's alright. You can come to Robert. I have to head home anyway and see my 'sis'" Atalanta released her grip on Lucia, and taking her by the arm began to walk on her way home.

Annelise could not deny that part, and that was what scared her a bit. If he keeps this up, he would eventually get caught. If what he said was true, then with her mentor's protection he would be kept safe, but at what cost?

"And don't worry, if it comes to you fighting Lan, i'll protect you, he'll have to go through me first"

As Ricard said that after putting his hand on her shoulder. Anne put her hand on his hand. "Thank you Ricard, but..." Anne paused for a bit, shaking her head. "but that does not put my mind at ease."
