"Yes your majesty. I will give the orders to the dragon riders and canons once we see how Oeilvert intends to approach Burmecia and I will give the officers clearance to launch the airships to Lindblum and Alexandria." Freya spoke before she gave a bow and headed out of the throne room.
Robert gave a nod to King Puck as he was given his assignment to aid his father in the defense of the castle. "I will defend this place, the mirrors and the people within this castle with my life." Robert spoke with a firm and resolute tone of voice. He may not have been even a twinkle in his mother's eye when Brahne and Kuja nearly obliterated Burmecia, but having grown up around the survivors, Robert refused to allow history to repeat itself. He would see Burmecia standing tall and strong instead of littered with the bodies of innocent people.
Annelise seemed to have her hands full with her flirtatious admirer. "No time for social calls Annie. My mother might need some aid if the Oeilvert forces reach the gates. I'm going to assist my father with the castle defenses." Robert commented as he walked over to Annelise and her admirer.
As he made his way to where he suspected his father Fratley would be, he thought about what Twinsword said about Terra being the so-called promised land. How could it be the promised anything? The whole surface of Terra was annihilated by Kuja, and his mother was there when it happened. What promised land could there possibly be waiting for them but an absolute wasteland?
Robert approached his father and stood at attention. "King Puck has sent me to assist you in the castle's defense, father." he spoke in a rather soldierly manner. Fratley gave a light chuckle to just how serious Robert looked and sounded.
"Well then, I'd say Oielvert is in quite some trouble if they have to deal with the three top dragon knights in all of Burmecia." Fratley jested, though his words weren't that far off. Freya had battled the greatest threat to this world seventeen years ago, and Fratley was every bit her equal even if his combat style was a bit different. And then there was Robert. He wasn't as strong as either of his parents yet, but he had the potential to join their ranks and was trained by the two to one day surpass them.
"Now then, all we have to do is wait and see how the enemy wishes to approach." Fratley spoke as he looked out at the horizon.
