Did you notice that in one point in the VS trailer he has a sword which looks like the logo to the ivalice alliance?

Also its nice that they show blood in Vs13, thats the reason I think its going to be rated 16+

Wow...Versus XIII, just WOW! This game has me so far beyond intrigued than any game ever has...This just looks absolutely amazing! Noct and Stella about to face off, why!? But then at the very end of the trailer, the look those two exchanged...There is so much mystery behind this! What could it all mean? Thank you for posting these, UpolJoZelda5. It's greatly appreciated! =D

Nice, I have seen those trailers yesterday. But the Pics are pretty cool. I wonder if the summons will be be able to do various functions; Shiva can become a vehicle and also take role as a Summon, Bahamut (if enters the game) could become an Airship and be a regular summon etc...

Pulse looks a really cool location. I can't wait for both games to come.
 
Wow thanks for this. I've seen the pics of Shiva and Ifrit before (the pulse link doesn't appear to be working though). But the Trailers just look amazing! The Versus trailer has rekindled my interest in Versus, and the XIII trailer is great. I love the complete contrast in setting between the two games. On one hand we have the beautiful colourful world with XIII and then we have the dark, barron world of Versus. Can't wait for these to come out!
 
Hopefully this is the same as Merc's thread. I found these vids a little while ago on Gametrailers and I was just blown away by how good they looked. I honestly was only a little excited for both up to that point... but now I'm hyped. It looks fantastic. The new CG looks great. I'd love to know more about gameplay... but I'm hyped.
 
Yeah it is. This thread was created before Merc's. As for me, I'm more hyped up about Versus XIII than I am XIII. I like the fact that it's going to be a darker, more mature game. The storyline from what I've read thus far has me deeply intrigued.

Yea, FFXIII Versus looks amazing. Hell, Gametrailers plays commercials before their videos... that's what I thought that car was. I didn't realize it was rendered... I thought it was an actual car. It really looks good though. Very FFVIII-esque/FFVII Turks in style, which is just awesome for me.
 
OMG!!! The trailer for Versus was absolutely amazing!!!!!

I just can't get over how...real everything looks; it's almost as if you could reach out and touch the characters. And they actually showed blood in the trailer! The only other time I can remember there being blood in a Final Fantasy is at the beginning of VIII when Squall gets cut across the face. They didn't even show blood in CC when Cloud got shish-kabobed by Sephiroth. I wonder what that will do to the rating...

And I'm sensing a Romeo and Juliet type romance between Noctis and Stella xD Hopefully it won't end in tragedy though, because they just might be the best couple yet! One things for sure though, XIII doesn't even compare to Versus now, at least not in my opinion. Thanks for posting this UpolJoZelda5!
 
Oh man, don't say that. I hope LA is right and this game is more mature. If they do a mature relationship, they can have all the romance crap they want. That's fine with me. But I'm tired of FF games being like an episode of Dason's Creek where everyone is just all melodramatically in love with everyone else.
 
ahhh noctis and stella seemed to have something
she seemed concern about him as she ran up to him but when her powers reacted she stopped..maybe their own powers will draw them apart..cause they are different. like two opposite magnets..they can never touch..
BUT YEAH enjoy cause i uploaded this to my youtube..it got deleted cause of it i lost 800 subs 1190 friends and 155 videos i made and two years worth of time. i have a new account if u wanna add me just ask..but does anyone know when this game will come out..please dont say in two years

In that first trailer, was that Carbuncle with a ruby on his forehead? He looked freakin' sweet in those graphics!

For as much complaints as the summons were getting early on with transforming into vehicles and such, those screens of Ifrit and Shiva look awesome, and the shots of them in the trailer as well. I'm already sold on the beauty of this game, and the details of the plot are sprinkled here and there, so I'm hoping the story lives up to it's glamor which I'm sure it will.

I know what u mean Heathen, she does look alot silly, but added voice overs will change all that. I like all three of them and I can't WAIT to see the rest.
