It will never ever out-do the Avengers and there is no way it's gonna be better then the earlier films from 2002-2007. There is just no way I'm hoping it'll be funny but.... the pretty boy playing Peter is just... I can already tell he's annoying.

andrew garfield is a million times better than tobey maguire. from the look of the trailer, they've hit an excellent comedic tone, and they're following the original material much closer. it probably won't live up to the avengers, i agree with that, but it doesn't need to because it's part of a different universe.

also, the posters are fucking gorgeous.
