how is it that there is a thread about ponies but there's no ponies?

Can I just say, as a girl who used to own dozens of MLP dolls as a child, that I am completely creeped out by what the makers of that show have done to one of my favorite childhood toys. It's following is a bunch of older men sexualizing the horses (when it's a freaking children's toy/show). I mean, I can't even look up MLP or ponies on dA or tumblr without seeing some crap that NO ONE should EVER EVER EVER see.

So anytime I see fans of the shows I just kinda cringe cuz one, they weren't fans of it back in the days when it was awesome so you're justa buncha posers. and two, I can't help but think that all of the MLP "fans" are just dirting up MLP. It's a generalization, sure--but after seeing so much of it I can't help but think that it's all the fanbase consists of. I mean, I have met a few girls that also hate how sexualized and perverted it has become but... only a small handful.

that said, keep MLP away at least the version that everyone is obsessing over nowadays.

Clearly, you've never met a real Brony. Hi, I'm Squee. I'm a 19 year old male who in no way finds any kind of bestial pornography attractive. Instead, I like fit, pale skinned, and dark haired women. As a Brony, I try not to affiliate with any of the "Adult Content" (Parenthesis for the sake that it is indeed a childrens show) for the sake if it being sick perverted violations of something that should never have been violated. Instead, I stick to the story.

I don't know about you but a show where one weird demon pony thing sends one pony to live underground to starve and or dehydrate to death so that the demon thing could take over the world and commit what is essentially genocide seems a little less like it's about the ponies
