Don't you just hate trying to get past these stupid automated messages when all you really wanna do is speak to a representative? Typically I'm okay with it although it does get annoying, but today I'm trying to call USCIS and I cannot get past the freakin' automated messages at all! I tried it twice already but it just leads me back to "To go back to the main menu, please press 1" !! I don't wanna go back to the main menu, I wanna speak to a bloody person!!!!!!!!

Ugh I'm so pissed. -_- I even tried their website - can't find a damn thing where it will enable me to change my name because some stupid doofus mispelled it and this case is very important. I don't even know how they misspelled my name - I submitted like 5 different original copies of legal papers to them that states my name right there.

I don't think we get many of them here, at least the only automated messages I've heard are the ones on my mobile when checking my credit. :wacky: Although, you do get those ones when you ring a company and are like "Please hold" then you're sat there for like half an hour listening to some gay shitty music >.> Those are the ones that annoy me in terms of automated messages D:
 
I cant get through to the tv licence people, the automated WITCH sends me round the houses, til she just says THANK YOU FOR CALLING TV LICENCING and cuts me off, Ive been trying to get through to them since last year, and I just can 't get through to a human being :gonk:

I bet if they wanted money Id get them no problem, I end up slamming my phone back in the cradle repeatedly and shout afew obscenities down the phone

Usually something along the lines of 'Oh I hope you ARE effing well recording this you stupid automated WANKERS' *slam slam slam*

Oh yes, it angers me THAT much

And it annoys me all the more BECAUSE I'M GETTING CHARGED FOR THE PHONE CALL

Edit* Ive tried the website too, it gets me NO WHERE all I want to do is pay my bloody direct debit monthly not quarterly ¬¬
 
I hate phone calls full stop.

I'd rather do everything face to face than deal with a machine or someone on the other line.
 
Yes Ma'am, I know exactly what you mean. I know call volumes are pretty high for most places, so they try to help you through the automated systems, but to be honest some of them are to freakin messy are are way uncalled for.

Our company has 15 call representatives to take people's calls at whim. So we try to do with the in-formalities and try to get to the problem right away.

Well those are annoying too, but at least you know someone will most likely pick up even though yes you might have to wait long, whereas in some cases, there are those automated messages that you just can't get past through no matter how many ways you try to do it. It's stupid, it's pointless, and I'm gonna have a fit here in a minute. :lew: I really need to speak to someone since it's really urgent and they only gave me one number to call in the letter.

And Kelly, I know what you mean by being charged for the call. We had to sit for like almost two hours for Verizon (for our internet) representative to connect to us, and that made our Cingular cellphone bill go wayyyy up. In the end Verizon paid us though when we took the case to their management.

But anyway, I hate automated messages sooooo much. I don't know what else I'm gonna do. >.>
 
Oh yes I hate this shit so much. Especially when Im trying to call someone or when people are calling my damn fucking house. If you want to talk to a representative say move on or press 1. Its so fucking annoying. Once when my xbox account got hacked it was so bad that I almost started cursing to xbox service!
 
I hate automated messages.

They annoy me. In the time that you've got through the auto part you could have finished speaking about your problem with someone in person.

Even when you do finally get to someone, they end up putting you through to a million other people anyway. <_<

It's a waste of time most of the time from my experience.
 
They are a pain when the option your looking for doesnt appear. Sometimes you just need an advisor not a damn machine, yet, theres never an option that says
''press 4 for an advisor'' :ffs:
The automated services that fone you up are annoying aswell. Hello sir youv won a free holiday to blah blah fucking blah. STOP CALLING ME :rage:
On another off topic note i get annoyed when i do get an advisor and theyre not English, i can never understand them, and they must find it annoying aswell when im asking them to repeat every sentence :ffs: Just gimme a scottish or english advisor please :ness: Or a fit sounding irish one :ryan:
